The more common methode for planting moringa plant is using seed, because this plant produces a lot of seeds. However, the resulting seeds have a hard enaugh seed coat so that. These conditions can affect and even thwart germination, vigor and growth of the plant. This Study aims to determine the proper dosage of young coconut water to be used in growing moringa seeds, so that later it become a recommendation for formers in the development of moringa plants. This research was conducted using a green house and laboratory scale method with the media that had been prepared for germination obsevat

In the shallow and hypertrophic Lake Veluwe the cycling of phosphorus between water and sediments was mainly determined by a continuous bloom of the blue-green alga Oscillatoria agardhii. For the restoring of water quality it was considered necessary to reduce the external P-loading as well as to suppress the release of phosphorus from the sediments. The P-loading of the lake decreased from approx. 3 to 1 g P/m2 a year in 1979. Additionally the lake has been flushed during winter periods with water low in phosphorus. Flushing was primarily aimed at interrupting the continuous algal bloom. Afte

The aim of this article is the determination of uranium concentration in shoots and roots ofbarley (Vigna Unguiculata.), grown on soils, together with its phytotoxic effect on the plantgrowth and development. The soils was contaminated with different doses (12.5μM to 200 μM)of uranyl nitrate. Vegetative as well as Fruiting stages indicated uranium phytotoxic effect onplant height, yield, and germination of seeds, shoot –root fresh weight as well as shoot-root dryweight. This effect was stronger on the plants grown at high concentration in comparison withthose grown at lower concentration. Soil

Abstract Seed priming or invigoration is presowing treatments of improving germination aimed to reduce the time from sowing to emergence and improving emergence uniformity. Research on seed priming was conducted Indonesian Cereal Research Institute (ICERI) seed laboratory from January until March 2021 to evaluate the effect of seed priming on sorghum seed vigor. Seed quality parameters includes germination percentages, germination rate, shoot and primary root length, seedling dryweight, Sorghum seed variety of Suri 4 were used as seed material. Cut-flower production of three snapdragon (Antirrhinum majus L.) cultivars (`Potomac Pink', `Winter White', and `Potomac Light Pink') in growing trays vs. ground beds was evaluated in five different plantings over a period of a year and a half. The experiments evaluated the quality of cut flowers from plants in ground beds or in small vs. large trays either raised or placed directly on the ground bed. The quality of flowering shoots was lower when plants were grown in raised trays rather than in on-ground trays or in ground beds, but other treatments did not affect quality consistently. Flower

Soil of degraded land is generally infertile, having limited macro and micro nutriets, and is acidic with thin topsoil. A potensial solution to improve plant growth in this oil condition is inoculation of seedling with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and fertilization with slow release fertilizer (SRF) in the nursery.
