This thesis consists of four papers on the topics of free loop spaces, Koszul duality and A∞-algebras.  In Paper I we consider a definition of differential operators for noncommutative algebras. This definition is inspired by the connections between differential operators of commutative algebras, L∞-algebras and BV-algebras. We show that the definition is reasonable by establishing results that are analoguous to results in the commutative case. Let M#k(52) be the space of weight k level 52 weakly holomorphic modular forms with poles only at infinity, and S#k(52) the subspace of forms which vanish at all cusps other than infinity. For these spaces we construct canonical bases, indexed by the order of vanishing at infinity. We prove that the coefficients of the canonical basis elements satisfy a duality property. We present the moduli space for N=1 four-dimensional reductions and its topological properties. To fix the value of all moduli, we will construct the most general holomorphic superpotential W using a set of T-dual iterations for the fluxes.
