Abstract:
The paper substantiates the need to create an autonomous dump truck control system. The scope of the unmanned mining dump truck is described. An example of the layout of the general scheme of an autonomous dump truck with control system basic elements is given, as well as some differences from the dump trucks with traditional control system are presented. The levels of automation of autonomous dump truck are formed. The enlarged tasks that need to be addressed when creating a control system for autonomous mining dump truck are highlighted. The general structure of a multi-level control system for autonomous dump truck was developed. The upper, middle and lower levels of the control system are described. The summation is drawn on the relevance of developing scientifically based approaches for creating control systems for autonomous mining truck, as well as developing mathematical models and algorithms for controlling autonomous mining trucks. The main directions for further research are identified. They are the development of requirements for a dump truck control system; the development of the structure of mathematical models and algorithms for the operation of subsystems of the dump truck control; the development of software that allows simulating the interaction of the subsystems of the dump truck control system with each other, the Smart Quarry system and the operator.

Abstract:
Dumping is one of the main unit operations of mining. Notwithstanding a long history of using large rear dump trucks in mining, little knowledge exists on the cascading behavior of the run-of-mine material during and after dumping. In order to better investigate this behavior, a method for generating high fidelity models (HFMs) of dump profiles was devised and investigated. This method involved using unmanned aerial vehicles with mounted cameras to generate photogrammetric models of dumps. Twenty-eight dump profiles were created from twenty-three drone flights. Their characteristics were presented and summarized. Four types of dump profiles were observed to exist. Factors that influence the determination of these profiles include the location of the truck relative to the dump crest, the movement of the underlying dump material during the dumping process and the differences in the dump profile prior to dumping. The HFMs created in this study could possibly be used for calibrating computer simulations of dumps to better match reality.

Abstract:
The article substantiates the quantity and type of tire size for a dump truck with a carrying capacity from 90 to 130 tons. Types of tire sizes for dump trucks are given, as well as an analysis of applicable tires for dump trucks. An example of tire configuration for a dump truck is described, as well as the differences between projects and dump trucks with the traditional arrangement of large tires. The working productivity of large tires was cal- culated using the TKH “tons per kilometer per hour” technique. The general tasks that need to be addressed when designing a dump truck are highlighted. The conclusion is made on the relevance of the development of scientifically based approaches when designing dump trucks. The above data indicate that when surface mining, it is possible to solve the economic problem of reduc- ing the operating costs of transporting minerals by applying the proposed arrangement and number of large tires when designing new dump trucks, including robotic and unmanned ones.

Since the beginning of the civilization emergence, people began to use the minerals extraction on the surface of the Earth and the rock mass transportation. One of the main tasks of the mining industry is the transportation of an increasing rock mass amount from the quarry, which has caused the need to increase the power and carrying capacity of mining dump trucks. Today, we can assume that the revolutionary period of increasing the carrying capacity in the creation of heavy-duty dump trucks is over. Further improvement of the designs of frame dump trucks is impractical. To create super-powerful dump trucks capable of efficiently transporting rock mass from deep horizons, fundamentally different designs of machines and power plants are needed. The most important requirement for promising machines is to minimize the negative impact on the environment. In its development, mining vehicles have come a long way: a hand wheelbarrow - a horse cart - a truck - a diesel mining dump truck - a diesel-electric mining dump truck - an electric mining dump truck - an unmanned electric mining dump truck. According to the law of the transition from quantity to quality, it can be assumed that the period of increasing the carrying capacity of mining dump trucks has ended (quantitative changes), and a new period of qualitative changes begins (the development of new types of mining transport, an increase in the specific capacity of a power plant, the use of other energy carriers, etc.). An important area is the use of artificial intelligence: robotic dump trucks, self-diagnostic systems, etc. The main requirement for promising machines is to reduce the cost of transporting rock mass and a minimum negative impact on the environment.

Abstract:
The method proposed in the article is based on the mathematical apparatus for quantitative assessment of the reliability of majority schemes of structural redundancy of transport processes, which provide the availability and usage of several backup delivery channels in the transport process in case of any malfunction. The principle of multi-channel haulage is commonly used in quarries for transportation of overburden and minerals from benches by dump trucks, when excavators and dump trucks performing cyclic operations function as a single excavator-dump truck complex. This pattern of work significantly increases the likelihood of fulfilling the daily plan for transporting rock mass due to the redistribution of dump trucks between mining and overburden excavators in the event of failure of one or more units of mining and handling equipment.The reliability of excavator-dump truck complexes is assessed in three stages: initial data collection for mathematical modeling of excavator-dump truck complex performance; solving the problem of optimizing the distribution of dump trucks between excavators, ensuring maximum productivity of the excavator-dump truck complex; assessment of the reliability of its work depending on the probability of fulfilling the daily plan for the transportation of rock mass.The proposed method is implemented as part of a computer program and makes it possible to automate the operational management of the process of transporting rock mass in a quarry using a mobile application. The developed guidelines can be used for any quarries with automobile transport, regardless of the type of mineral extracted, the mining method, the loading pattern, the capacity of the excavation and loading equipment fleet, and the capacity of operated dump trucks.

Pengaruh utama pada kegiatan pengangkutan menggunakan dump truck adalah kondisi jalan, kondisi peralatan dan cuaca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis hubungan antara CBR, rolling resistance dan daya dukung tanah terhadap kecepatan dump truck dengan pendekatan model matematika berdasarkan metode regresi linier. Kecepatan dump truck dinyatakan sebagai variabel terikat (Y). CBR, rolling resistance, dan daya dukung tanah dinyatakan sebagai variabel bebas (X). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rolling resistance mempunyai pengaruh negatif terhadap kecepatan dump truck. Kecepatan dump truck akan berkurang sebanyak 0,13 – 0,14 km/jam dengan naiknya nilai rolling resistance sebesar 10 lbs. CBR dan daya dukung tanah berpengaruh positif terhadap kecepatan dump truck. Kenaikan nilai CBR sebesar 5 % dan kenaikan nilai daya dukung tanah sebesar 0,34 kg/cm2 akan meningkatkan kecepatan dump truck 0,48 – 0,66 km/jam. Agar kecepatan dump truck dapat menigkat, nilai minimum CBR dari jalan angkut adalah 15 % dan nilai daya dukung tanah sebesar 6,79 kg/cm2 dengan maksimum nilai rolling resistance 40 lbs.

The moni- toring analysis of the conditions and operation indicators of BelAZ-75131 heavy dump truck using diesel and gaseous fuels is done. Numerical and percentage values of the replacement of diesel fuel with liquefied natural gas when transporting exploded rock mass are determined; the volume of diesel fuel and liquefied natural gas consumption has been established. The analytical dependence to calculate the cost per unit of energy during trans- portation by mining dump trucks with gas equipment is determined. The energy estimation of diesel and gas-diesel mining dump trucks operation is given.

Transportation system is an important part of the municipal solid waste management system, and also requires substantial investment and operational costs after the landfill. The further of the service route and the more the number of trucks ritation then the greater the operational costs to be incurred. Transportation system in the research location uses two methods, namely Hauled Container System/HCS (4 units) and Stationary Container System/SCS (19 units), each with 6 m³ capacity. Armroll truck activity analysis found that one time ritation takes an average of 2.72 hours and the average amount of ritation is 3 rit / day. The operational cost required for the armroll truck is 13.433.68 IDR / m³ / day. The result of dump truck activity analysis obtained the average time in one ritation is 4.77 hours, with the amount of ritation of 2 rit / day. Operating cost for dump truck is 25.400.1 IDR / m³ / day so HCS method with armroll truck is more effective than SCS method with dump truck, although the number of units is less in the research location, this is due to the investment cost of the carosery which is slightly larger than the dump truck.

Apabila fuel ratio actual lebih kecil dari fuel ratio plan maka perusahaan akan mendapat keuntungan begitu juga sebaliknya. Realisasi produktivitas pada bulan Maret untuk unit articulated dump truck Volvo A35E sebesar 69,225 BCM/jam dengan konsumsi bahan bakar 26,09 liter/jam dan untuk realisasi unit articulated dump truck Volvo A40G sebesar 75,780 BCM/jam dengan konsumsi bahan bakar 25,46 liter/jam. Sedangkan realisasi produktivitas pada bulan April untuk unit articulated dump truck Volvo A35E sebesar 60,197 BCM/jam dengan konsumsi bahan bakar 26,35 liter/jam dan untuk realisasi unit articulated dump truck Volvo A40G sebesar 64,764 BCM/jam dengan konsumsi bahan bakar 25,51 liter/jam. Pada bulan Maret fuel ratio plan untuk unit articulated dump truck Volvo A35E sebesar 0,327 liter/BCM sedangkan fuel ratio actual sebesar 0,376 liter/BCM dan fuel ratio plan untuk unit articulated dump truck Volvo A40G sebesar 0,294 liter/BCM sedangkan fuel ratio actual sebesar 0,335 liter/BCM. Pada bulan April fuel ratio plan untuk unit articulated dump truck Volvo A35E sebesar 0,366 liter/BCM sedangkan fuel ratio actual sebesar 0,437 dan fuel ratio plan untuk unit articulated dump truck Volvo A40G sebesar 0,329 liter/BCM sedangkan fuel ratio actual sebesar 0,393 liter/BCM. Karena fuel ratio actual lebih besar dari fuel ratio plan menunjukan kerugian yang dialami perusahaan. Abstract:
PT. Jaya Bersama Sahabat merupakan perusahaan pertambangan bijih nikel yang terletak di Kabupaten Konawe Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung produktivitas alat gali-muat dan alat angkut, menghitung jumlah alat gali-muat dan alat angkut yang dibutuhkan serta menghitung faktor keserasian kerja dari masing-masing kombinasi kerja alat mekanis. Metode dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu pengamatan fakta perusahaan, identifikasi masalah, studi literature, pengamatan di lapangan, pengambilan data berupa data primer dan sekunder, perumusan, pengelolaan dan analisis data. Produktivitas kombinasi kerja antara Excavator Caterpillar 320D2 dengan Dump Truck Hino 500 FM260JD yaitu 2249,22 ton/hari untuk excavator dan 202,07 ton/hari untuk dump truck sedangkan produktivitas kombinasi kerja antara Excavator Kobelco SK330 dengan Dump Truck Hino 500 FM260 JD adalah 4058,17 ton/hari untuk excavator dan 263,57 ton/hari untuk dump truck. Jumlah kebutuhan alat mekanis yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai target produksi yaitu 2 unit excavator dan 13 unit dump truck jika menggunakan kombinasi kerja antara Excavator Caterpillar 320D2 dengan Dump Truck Hino 500 FM260JD dengan memiliki faktor keserasian kerja sebesar 0,62 dan jika menggunakan kombinasi kerja antara Excavator Kobelco SK330 dengan Dump Truck Hino 500 FM260JD maka dibutuhkan 1 unit excavator dan 10 unit dump truck dengan faktor keserasian kerja sebesar 0,69.

Abstract:
The article presents the analysis results of the design of dump trucks used in road construction field. The authors point out the tendency of expanding the use of dump trucks with articulated frames in the world practice. The necessity of evaluating the possibilities of domestic manufacturers to produce the machines of this type is justified. Comparative evaluation of samples was carried out by comparing generalized indicators of the vehicle quality determined by their technical level coefficients, as well as by directly comparing a number of specific indicators of their performance properties. Information search, statistical processing of information materials, expert research and mathematical modeling were used as scientific methods for obtaining the initial data for evaluation. The comparative qualimetric assessment of the operational capabilities of dump trucks of various designs gives grounds to recognize that the use of a machine with an articulated frame for direct filling of the road embankment will be preferable to machines of frame construction. This is due to the fact that the articulated dump truck has a higher cross-country ability and maneuverability, while having a certain reserve for increasing the load capacity and the similar cargo capacity of the body with the frame truck. The evaluation results confirm the feasibility of producing a domestic dump truck with an articulated frame.

In order to study the strength analysis of dump truck with a T-type lifting mechanism, a detailed multi-body dynamic model of a dump truck was established by using SIMPACK software. With this rigid-flexible coupling model, which includes front suspension, balanced rear suspension, carriage, lifting mechanism, tyre model and so on. Dynamical analysis was carried on the dump truck, the variation of application force of lifting mechanism with lifting angle was obtained. Finite element model of a dump truck was established by using Hypermesh software. Strength Analysis was studied on the dump truck. This study will provide scientific reference for the structural design and improvements of lifting mechanism.

Tanah yang digali perlu untuk dipindahkan ke tempat lain untuk tidak menggangu area lahan pekerjaaan. Salah satu alat yang dibutuhkan untuk memindahkan tanah dari satu tempat ke tempat lain yang berjarak jauh adalah Dump Truck. Studi ini menangani masalah pengoptimalan penyewaan Dump Truck untuk meminimalkan biaya sewa Dump Truck. Metode Linear Programming merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam mengoptimalkan penyewaan Dump Truck. Metode Linear Programming terdiri dari decision variabel, objective function, dan constraint. Penelitian menggunakan 10 perusahaan Dump Truck yang disewa untuk mengangkut tanah dengan 2 tipe kapasitas yang berbeda. Data tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan program LINGO untuk menentukan banyak Dump Truck yang digunakan dari perusahaan - perusahaan dan didapat harga termurah yang perlu dikeluarkan adalah Rp 3.183.989.000,-. Program LINGO ini membuktikan bahwa biaya yang diperoleh lebih efisien dengan mrnggunakan metode Linear Programming dibandingkan dengan cara memesan secara aktual di lapangan.

Abstract:
PT Sumber Gunung Maju Bravo 10 merupakan perusahaan penambangan andesit yang terletak di Desa Ukirsari, Serang, Banten. Ketidaktercapaian target pengeboran per hari, terdapat beberapa hambatan menyebabkan kurang optimalnya kinerja pengeboran, dan sistem shovel-dump truck, serta fragmentasi boulder masih melebihi persentase yang ditentukan yaitu ukuran boulder >60 cm dengan persentase 30%, melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pengeboran, peledakan serta sistem shovel-dump truck. Analisis dilakukan dengan pengambilan data cycle time (alat bor, excavator, dump truck), fragmentasi peledakan, dan jarak angkut dari fleet menuju hopper. Analisis terhadap kinerja pengeboran didapatkan material ambruk saat pengeboran, reparasi saat kegiatan pengeboran, dan penggunaan alat bor yang belum maksimal dengan efektivitas penggunaan alat bor rata-rata 57%. Analisis terhadap kinerja peledakan didapatkan bahwa geometri peledakan memiliki pengaruh terhadap distribusi fragmentasi. Distribusi fragmentasi dapat dikatakan baik dengan menghasilkan boulder (>60 cm) sebesar 7,57%. Analisis terhadap kinerja sistem shovel-dump truck didapatkan rata-rata produktivitas excavator sebesar 44,91 BCM/jam, produktivitas dump truck sebesar 13,21 BCM/jam, dengan faktor kesepadanan 0,7 serta efektivitas penggunaan excavator dan dump truck berkisar 70%. Besarnya cycle time excavator dikarenakan menunggu dump truck, dan pemilihan bahan galian saat pemuatan. Pada efisiensi penggunaan alat gali muat masih terdapatnya kehilangan waktu (loss time) seperti keterlambatan operasi, istirahat dan berhenti kerja lebih cepat, perawatan front, dan refueling. Besarnya cycle time alat angkut dipengaruhi menunggu giliran pemuatan, jarak angkut, dan kebutuhan operator dengan melakukan perawatan dump truck ke bengkel.

The force on dump truck body is telatively complicated, and different unloading working conditions will have effects on the body structure of dump truck. This paper made a modal analysis and feature buckling analysis of the body structure of dump truck under the unloading situation, and also made a nonlinear analysis under the certain circumstances. Through the ANSYS analysis, the body vibration frequency and buckling modal shape was calculated and figured out, and the design of dump truck body was optimized in order to make sure that the stiffness and stability meet the needs.

Many trucks are used for a class of activities involving a sequence of basic load-haul-dump operations. The repetitiveness of this operation has been an enabler for autonomous vehicle technology in efforts to increase safety and efficiency. In this paper, we present a framework for the automation of the load-haul-dump operation in a mine setting using an articulated dump truck. A simulation environment for the testing of autonomous driving algorithms is developed and a custom mining environment is generated to adapt to our simulation settings. We also present an operational decomposition of the sequence of tasks and develop a finite state machine for high-level decision making based on this decomposition. A path tracking module that considers both bodies of the articulated truck is also developed. The resulting architecture was implemented to achieve autonomy for a load-haul-dump operation in the simulated environment within a fixed path. Experiments show that the proposed FSM-path tracking system can automate the load-haul-dump operation; and that the simulation environment can support the testing and development of autonomous driving algorithms for configurations such as an articulated truck.

Reducing the costs of rock transportation in mining is one of the most important tasks. One of the reserves for solving this issue is a more complete use of the service life of quarry dump trucks tires, since their operation takes place in heavy mining and climatic conditions and this significantly reduces the life of tires. The life of tires depends on many factors: speed of movement, compliance with the recommended air pressure in the tire, ambient air temperature, but the main thing is the change in the normal load on the wheel, which depends on the redistribution of the quarry dump truck weight in case of non-linear movement and on the longitudinal profile of the quarry road. In real conditions, the quarry dump truck moves unevenly due to the complexity of the road - either braking or acceleration occur. This article allows you to evaluate the impact of non-linear modes of quarry dump truck movement on the instant redistribution of normal tire reactions and take into account peak loads on wheels during acceleration and braking in the regular cycle. This will allow you to control the load on the tires directly by cargo amount in the quarry dump truck and thereby increase the life of the tires and their reliability, as well as reduce the cost of transporting the rock mass in real operating conditions.

Beberapa diantaranya yaitu kemiringan jalan angkut, RPM alat angkut, kecepatan alat angkut, rimpull alat angkut, jarak tempuh alat angkut, dan waktu tempuh alat angkut. Metode ini memanfaatkan analisis multivariat yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengaruh dan mengukur intensitas hubungan antara variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat. 3. Bahan bakar aktual yang dihabiskan oleh keseluruhan alat angkut dump truck UD CWM 330 sebesar 1.589,52 liter/hari (5 dump truck). Main feature of modern mining dump trucks is the need to ensure the transportation of minerals with minimal costs, which is achieved by deepening the quarries (in order to save overburden), increasing the slopes of roads, reducing the distance of cargo transportation, increasing the load capacity of machines and improving the safety of their movement. It is shown that new work conditions of dump trucks and major specific requirements are resolved mainly at the stage of layout of machines by optimizing wheel arrangement of dump trucks, loading of tires and their performance, providing specific power of the propulsion system, choice of the transmission type and its units, and major systems to ensure operational safety: brakes, steering, stability of motion. Special attention is paid to the creation of a new system for improving lateral stability and its design for dump trucks with a load capacity of more than 400 t. The results of operational studies of the main layout and design solutions adopted for a dump truck with a load capacity of 450 t are presented. Efficiency of the decisions made is shown which made it possible to create a mining dump truck superior to all analogues in the world by indicators of the main operational properties that ensure competitiveness: fuel efficiency, performance, and operating costs. A system created for the first time for increasing lateral stability (schematic diagram and structural elements) confirmed the projected traffic safety in typical quarries and the necessary life in operation.

Diantara produknya, terdapat 4 jenis produk (Dump Truck, Subframe, Tilting, dan Tanki Truck) yang pengerjaannya diserahkan kepada 4 tim pemborong. Keputusan alokasi pekerjaan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pekerjaan kepada tim yang sudah menyelesaikan pekerjaan tertentu. Cara alokasi ini ternyata menimbulkan biaya tiap tim dalam mengerjakan satu jenis produk yang sama cukup bervariasi. Variasi biaya pengerjaan tentu saja berdampak bagi variasi keuntungan. Perlu ditentukan alokasi jenis dan jumlah pekerjaan yang tepat bagi masing-masing tim sehingga mendapatkan keuntungan yang maksimum. Hasil alokasi optimum adalah parameter keputusan kombinasi jumlah produksi tiap produk selain kapasitas tiap tim dan waktu pengerjaan.. Kombinasi jumlah tiap produk ini merupakan target produksi atau target penjualannya. Untuk itu diperlukan penelitian yang bertujuan 1) menentukan alokasi pekerjaan yang optimum, 2) menentukan target produksi tiap produk untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimum. Alokasi pekerjaan dilakukan dengan membandingkan metode Penugasan Hungarian dan metode Transportasi untuk memilih total biaya yang paling minimum. Solusi optimum jumlah produk yang diproduksi untuk mencapai keuntungan maksimum dilakukan dengan Program Linier. Hasi temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) dump truck dikerjakan sebanyak 88% oleh tim-1 dan 12% oleh tim-4; subframe dikerjakan sebanyak 39% oleh tim-2, 26% oleh tim-3, 35% oleh tim-4; tilting dikerjakan oleh tim-3, dan tanki truk dikerjakan oleh tim-2. Target produksi (target penjualan) untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimum adalah dengan memproduksi dump truck 73 unit, subframe 120 unit, tilting 29 unit, dan tanki truk 33 unit. The decision on job allocation is done by givingit to the team that have alredy completed their jobs. This allocation method turns out to cost each team to work on the same type of product that is quite varied. Variations in the cost of work, of course, have an impact on variations in profits. It is necessary to determine the allocation of the type and amount of work that is right for each team so as to get the maximum profit. The optimum allocation result is the decision parameter for the combination of the amount of production of each product in addition to the capacity of each team and the processing time. For this reason research is needed which aims to 1) determine the optimum allocation of work, 2) determine the production target of each product to get the maximum profit. The work allocation is done by comparing the Hungarian Assignment method and the Transportation method to choose the minimum total cost. The optimum solution for the number of products produced to achieve maximum profit is done by the Linear Program. The results of the research findings show that 1) dump trucks were handled by 88% by team-1 and 12% by team-4; subframes are done by 39% by team-2, 26% by team-3, 35% by team-4; tilting is done by team-3, and truck tank is done by team-2; 2)the production target (sales target) to get maximum profit is to produce 73 units of dump trucks, 120 units of subframes, 29 units of tilting, and 33 units of tank trucks. The option of the On-Board Robotic Control System for mining dump trucks (OBRCS MDT) and schematics of the on-board robotic system of the BELAZ dump truck are described in more detail. A layout option is suggested for an autonomous ready dump truck, a modification that meets all the requirements for the digital transformation (DT) generation of dump trucks i.e. the ability to operate as part of the mine fleet management systems and robotic control systems, as well as the availability of modern on-board industrial safety systems and remote diagnostics. The DT Generation of mining equipment will allow mining companies to achieve the up-to-date level in digital transformation of surface mining operations and will cut the amount of investments required in upgrading the mining transport system.

Calculation using queuing model method obtained by result of time required by 3 excavator unit and with combined amount of dump truck will give result of cost equal to Rp 48,097,711 / day, and dump truck waiting time in queue to 1 minute. Then the optimal time is obtained by operating 3 units of excavators with a cost difference of Rp 3,572,826 / day from the real condition of the field that operates 2 excavator units

The excavator production for stockpiling from excavated sources is 30.521 m3/h, dump truck 13.171 m 3/h, motor graders 1839.780 m 3 /h, vibrator roller 90.414 m 3 /h and water tankers truck 71,142 m 3/h. Motor grader production for road body preparation work is 362,222 m3/h, vibrator roller 126,851 m3/h and water tanker truck 62,250 m3/h. The hourly operating cost for the excavator is Rp. 718,048,581, motor grader Rp. 670,416,081, vibrator roller Rp. 609,423,907, and water tanker truck Rp. 380,806,081. It is important for mining dump trucks to minimize the weight of the carrier and the load platform while maintaining a sufficient level of their rigidness and strength. This requirement significantly affects the weight of the transported material, the cost of transportation and, consequently, the economic efficiency of mining operations. Processes of loading and dumping of bulk loads, which is transported by dump trucks, make a significant contribution to reducing the service life of the carrier. Therefore, proper consideration of the bulk load dynamics is an important and relevant task. Contemporary systems for calculating the dynamics of solids allow for joint modeling with applications designed to calculate the dispersed body dynamics. This approach helps to obtain adequate loads in the pivots and force links of the model, to analyze the loading of the load platform, to asses the durability of the dump truck elements, to define the geometry of the load platform. In order to perform the simulation, it is required to develop a mathematical model of a dump truck, including all its key elements and subsystems, a model of the bulk load, and a model of the load platform. The purpose of the study is to develop a mathematical model of a mine dump truck to determine the loads in the pivots and force links connected to the carrier and the load platform for the strength calculations and durability analysis. The calculations are made with the combined use of the solids dynamics calculation system and the application to calculate the dynamics of dispersed bodies.

TFN jumlah sampah adalah (58100, 58150, 58300), TFN jumlah dump truck (190,190,193), TFN jumlah armroll (21,21,22), TFN jumlah minimal wilayah layanan (4,5,5). Diperoleh solusi optimal dengan derajat keanggotaan 0,8 untuk mengangkut sampah sebanyak 58150 kg diperlukan kendaraan jenis dump truck sebanyak 1 kendaraan dan jenis armroll sebanyak 18 kendaraan. Using a computer dynamic model of the mining dump truck, the proposed algorithm for damping longitudinal and angular vibrations has been tested for cases of movement on roads with different characteristics of the micro-profile. The efficiency of functioning of the developed algorithm of longitudinal and angular oscillations and the possibility of reducing the oscillation amplitude in the dump truck cabin by 20 % have been confirmed. A semi-natural bench has been formed for testing and debugging the software of the longitudinal and angular vibration damping system. For the on-board controller of the dump truck, software has been developed that implements the control of the brake system according to the proposed algorithm for damping longitudinal and angular vibrations.

Produktivitas dan biaya masing-masing alat dihitung berdasarkan data pengamatan lapangan dan data-data lainnya. Untuk kondisi existing (sesuai jumlah alat yang digunakan di lapangan) diperoleh estimasi durasi pekerjaan yaitu 1.648 jam dengan estimasi biaya Rp.14.496.092.609,60. Kombinasi alat paling ideal antara excavator dan dump truck adalah 1:2,36, sedangkan kombinasi alat di lapangan adalah 1:1,14, ini menunjukan jumlah dump truck masih kurang sehingga akan menyebabkan excavator banyak menunggu atau idle. Dari hasil analisis, jika jumlah dan jenis excavator tetap menggunakan excavator yang ada di lapangan (7 unit), maka jumlah dump truck yang paling ideal adalah 16 unit. Dari kombinasi tersebut diperoleh estimasi durasi pekerjaan 836 jam atau lebih cepat 49%. Dan biaya pekerjaan menjadi Rp11.540.322.174,14 atau lebih rendah 20% dari biaya kondisi existing.

Sebagai persiapan agar Pit Inul East P2B dapat beroperasi sesuai rencana produksi dan cycle time tetap sesuai target, maka pertengahan tahun 2017 technical section Hatari Department menyampaikan gagasan membuat “jalan bebas hambatan” untuk dump truck. Technical section Hatari Department melakukan kajian secara komprehensif hubungan peningkatan travel speed truck dengan match factor. Dasar pemikiran Project Everest Road adalah rumus kecepatan dan match factor. Dalam rumus match factor, jumlah truck berbanding terbalik dengan cycle time. Kecepatan merupakan jarak tempuh dibagi waktu tempuh (cycle time). Cycle time berbanding terbalik dengan kecepatan, jika kecepatan maksimal tentu akan menghasilkan cycle time minimal. Sehingga dengan travel speed yang optimal akan menghasilkan cycle time minimal dan pengoperasian truck lebih sedikit atau lebih efisien.Project Everest Road mulai dikerjakan akhir tahun 2017 dan mulai digunakanJanuari 2018. Konsekuensi pengoptimalan kecepatan truck tentu akan berimbasakan munculnya debu dan diperlukan penambahan safety control. Untukmengontrol keselamatan akibat munculnya kenaikan kecepatan truck, maka dilakukan Risk Assessment. Sedangkan kontrol aspek lingkungan akibat timbulnya debu tetap mengacu pada Kepmen 1827K/MEM/30/2018, Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup Pada Kegiatan Pengangkutan. One of the most important production operations in open pit mining is dumping. The depth of open pit mines increases constantly and the volume of overburden rocks also grows. Overburden is truck-delivered to the dumps. Fractional composition of overburden is diverse. In the early years, loose rocks were transported to the dumps from the upper horizons to the lower levels of the dumps, and in subsequent years - hard rocks. In this view, due to the low strength and stability of the dump mass, it is usually not possible to provide safe working conditions. The mining safety can be increased due to the compaction of rocks composing the dump mass. Based on the analysis of technologies for compaction of dispersed materials using known equipment, a self-propelled vibration device is proposed for the formation of a stable dump mass. The use of a vibrating function element in the design, which implements a polyharmonic vibration mode, will expand the scope of its application during the open pit mining.

Tires of quarry dump trucks occupy one of the leading places in the item of costs for motor transport, as they are expensive product and at the same time more than half of them do not generate their resource. The causes of premature tires failure are exceeding normal load on them. In turn, the aerodynamic forces effect on the quarry dump truck as one of the influencing factors, is the dynamic redistribution of normal loads on tires and, as a result, affects temperature modes. The determination of the load on the tire under different operating conditions will increase the service life of the tires and avoid early failure. The proposed calculation method of aerodynamic loads and their influence on redistribution of normal mine dump truck tires reactions in dynamics allows to make correction to load modes and control the tires resource, which will lead to more complete use of tires resource.

The lightweight design of vehicle components is regarded as a complex optimization problem, which usually needs to achieve two or more optimization objectives. It can be firstly solved by a multi-objective optimization algorithm for generating Pareto solutions, before then seeking the optimal design. However, it is difficult to determine the optimal design for lack of engineering knowledge about ideal and nadir values. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-objective optimization procedure combined with the NSGA-II algorithm with entropy weighted TOPSIS for the lightweight design of the dump truck carriage. The finite element model of the dump truck carriage was firstly developed for modal analysis under unconstrained free state and strength analysis under the full load and lifting conditions. On this basis, the multi-objective lightweight optimization of the dump truck carriage was carried out based on the Kriging surrogate model and the NSGA-II algorithm. Then, the entropy weight TOPSIS method was employed to select the optimal design of the dump truck from Pareto solutions. The results show that the optimized dump truck carriage achieves a remarkable mass reduction of 81 kg, as much as 3.7%, while its first-order natural frequency and strength performance are slightly improved compared with the original model. Accordingly, the proposed procedure provides an effective way for vehicle lightweight design.

The state of the issue of the relevance and efficiency of the technology of using liquefied natural gas as a partial replacement of diesel fuel in mining vehicles is considered. It is argued that this technology does not require complex and time-consuming re-engineering of internal com- bustion engines, which makes it economically feasible. It is noted that liq- uefied natural gas seems to be the most promising alternative to petroleum motor fuels in heavy-duty mining dump trucks. The use of liquefied natu- ral gas as a motor fuel reduces the environmental burden; increases the energy efficiency of the rock mass hauling process and reduces fuel costs. It is said that developments aimed at substantiating and choosing design and layout solutions for the placement and arrangement of cryogenic equipment on mining vehicles are relevant. The new method for installing cryogenic fuel tanks on the deck of the BelAZ 7513 series mining dump truck with a payload capacity of 130 tons is described in detail. Layout so- lutions for the modernization of the deck of the BelAZ 7513 series dump truck allowing placing additional cryogenic equipment on its board are presented. The data presented indicate that the successful implementation of the proposed method is confirmed by the project on equipping the BelAZ 75131 mining dump truck with cryogenic onboard fuel systems, implemented in practice.

Together with scientific organizations, studies have been carried out that have allowed us to develop new and improve existing methodological approaches to solving urgent problems in all problematic areas of creating modern mining dump trucks especially and in excess of extra heavy lifting capacity. OJSC “BELAZ” is the only manufacturer and supplier of dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 450–500 tons. As a result of research on the creation of such machines, the model of a short-base maneuverable dump truck with a rigid frame of a special design was first recommended, which reduces the center of gravity and loading height of a mining dump truck, designed according to the 4 × 4 scheme (two drive axles) with double axle busbar and the use of existing tires with a maximum carrying capacity of 104 tons. The proposed and comprehensively tested new layout solutions give reason to believe that the development of dump trucks with a carrying capacity of up to 600 tons is a reality when mastering the production of tires with a carrying capacity of more than 110 tons. А new generation of dump trucks with hydromechanical transmissions is designed; work is underway to create robotic complexes for the mining industry. Particular attention is paid to computerization, digitalization and environmental friendliness of mining equipment, ensuring the reliability of technology by creating and applying new structural materials and technologies for large parts and systems.

In order to study the braking performance of mining dump truck, the modeling of the oil–gas suspension, front and rear brake of the dump truck were carried out first. Then the virtual prototype model of the dump truck was established in multibody dynamic simulation software. The simulation of braking and emergency braking performance, brake deviation on the flat road, and 9% downhill road were carried out. The brake in driving performance, emergency brake performance, disc brake retardance performance, transmission retardance performance, and hydraulic braking system response time were carried out by the real vehicle experiment, respectively. The result shows that the clearance elimination and pressure rise time of braking system are slightly long, especially the clearance elimination time, so the oil system should have an improvement. At the same time, the braking force distribution of the front and the rear is not reasonable, and the front wheel braking torque is slightly insufficient. After solving these problems by authors’ project team, the braking performance of the mine dump truck has been improved significantly.

Berdasarkan hasil pengamataan visual pada sisi intake turbocharge, pola kerusakan yang terjadi disebabkan keausan pada shaft turbocharge, dan masuknya partikel keras (asing). Hasil pengamatan visual sisi exhaust turbocharge menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kenaikan temperatur di atas standar. Bersesuaian dengan hasil pengamatan mikro bahwa sekitar retakan housing turbin menunjukkan oksidasi akibat temperatur tinggi. Temperatur yang terjadi pada sisi exhaust turbocharge berkisar di atas 700 °C. Selain itu, hasil pengamatan makro menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pola crazed di sekitar permukaan luar retakan housing turbine, yang disebabkan kenaikan temperatur kerja. Hasil pengujian kekerasan potongan melintang housing turbine menunjukkan bahwa komponen memiliki kehomogenitasan kekerasan (tidak cacat produksi) dengan angka kekerasan 7,3 HRC. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan pengujian tersebut, maka keausan shaft turbocharge dan masuknya partikel keras (asing) pada sisi intake berdampak terhadap retakan housing turbine dan kerusakan turbine pada sisi exhaust. Selain itu, tidak ditemukan adanya cacat bahan pada komponen yang menyebabkan kerusakan. Therefore, analysis of two key performance indicator (KPI) that tread utility ratio (TUR) and lifetime must be done to find the factors that cause failure, as well as find out whether there is a relationship between lifetime and TUR against different types of failure that occurred by using logistic regression. From the analysis, it is known that the tire KPI has yet to reach a given target, the main factor of tire performance has yet to reach the target is human error, operator Dump Truck and Excavator by 44%, from the results of logistic regression analysis of the data for 3 months it is known that the relationship LifeTime and TUR against various types of failure is not significant because Chisq value is greater than the value of 0.05 pr. (5%).

It is noted that, LNG seems to be the most promising alternative to oil types of motor fuel in the segment of open-pit truck haulage. It is affirmed that in Russia, in Kuzbass, the group of companies successfully implemented for the first time an integrated project for the production of LNG and its consumption in relation to BelAZ dump trucks. Data on the relevance and the need to develop technical requirements for on-board cryogenic fuel systems of mine dump trucks are given. Data on the developed groups of technical requirements for on-board cryogenic fuel systems of BelAZ dump trucks are given. It is said that the developed technical requirements made it possible to solve a number of tasks related to the development of circuit and design solutions for equipping BelAZ dump trucks with cryogenic systems. It is argued that the developed technical requirements will contribute to the further development of domestic projects for the production and consumption of liquefied natural gas.

Abstract:
The kinematic characteristics and work principle of dump truck lifting mechanism are very complex. In this paper kinematics analysis with complex vector method is used. By this method the angle motion characteristics of components are obtained, the main parameters are calculated and the center of mass is determined when dumping granular materials. Through kinematic analysis, this paper provides a theoretical basis for reliability and stability of lifting mechanism and improves the design of heavy dump truck.

Abstract:
Berdasarkan data dari Dirjen Minerba tahun 2019 terjadi 1 kasus kecelakaan fatality di Batu Kajang Kalimantan Timur karena kelelahan, sedangkan di PT. Hasnur Riung Sinergi tahun 2018 1 kasus kecelakaan property damage karena kelelahan. Ada beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi kelelahan seperti beban kerja, faktor lingkungan, individu dan faktor pekerjaan. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kelelahan kerja dengan masa kerja dan usia pada driver dump truck di PT. Hasnur Riung Sinergi Site PT. Bhumi Rantau Energi tahun 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional menggunakan teknik purposive sample. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji chi-square. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 139 orang dari driver dump truck. Tingkat kelelahan kerja dari driver dump truck yang paling banyak yaitu lelah ringan (74,1%), ditinjau dari masa kerja yang paling banyak >3 tahun sebanyak 74 orang (53,2%), ditinjau dari usia yang paling banyak yaitu >30 tahun sebanyak 90 orang (64,7%). Ada hubungan masa kerja dengan tingkat kelelahan kerja (p-value = 0,038) dan tidak ada hubungan usia dengan tingkat kelelahan kerja (p-value = 0,938). Perusahaan sebaiknya memperhatikan terkait akumulasi kelelahan, jadwal cuti karyawan sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang berlaku, peningkatan skill dan tidak memperkerjakan driver dump truck dalam keadaan lelah dan program kesehatan kerja terkait kelelahan dilakukan secara berkala.
