This thesis focuses on the progress of the real estate prices and the growing debt of households in the Czech Republic. Real estate prices are an important indicator of an economic activity in economy. The question of the inhabitancy is fundamental for majority of households. There was recorded an expressive growth of self -- living in the real estate market and the mortgage credit market in past years. I identify individual factors which impact to the market and appoint their importance. For the analysis is important to set off the subjects on the market because each subjekt is determinated of individual factors with different intensity.

WaterRisk method based on EN 31010 Risk Management - Techniques of risk assessment methods are chosen - analysis of possible defects and their consequences (FMEA), Pareto diagram and Ishikawa diagram. The aim of the thesis is analyze and assess the quality, environmental and safety risks to the public water supply system and use tools for their management and elimination. The results will be compared and evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of each analysis.

This diploma thesis deals with organized crime and its economic consequences, where the theoretical part is first tangentially history of organized crime, discusses the definition of basic concepts, definitions of organized crime with links to economic organized crime group structures and their typical criminal activity, crime. In conclusion, the theoretical part is dedicated to the fight against organized crime, its resources and authorities.
In the empirical part of the dissertation deals with the analysis of official documents and statistical reports, using qualitative research study of primary data, method of studying documents. In the first part for a better understanding of the issue will analyze selected cases - casuistry. Following the case studies of work followed by an analysis of statistical reports focusing on damages, proceeds of crime and the possible provision of such proceeds according to law.
The overall concept of the work refers to the typical attributes, methods of committing crimes, modus operandi, the consequences of organized crime, with a possible proposal to tackle the issue.

Summary
This thesis deals with the significance of the threat that organized crime poses to society. The aim is to provide an overview of its present forms and economic impact. In the theoretical part, there is an outline of basic terms associated with organized crime, its traditional and new forms, the most influential organized crime groups and their history regarding the Czech Republic and the EU and institutions that fight them. The empirical part focuses on the issue of illegal drugs. Drugs smuggling and illegal drug trade are defined from the perspective of criminology. Using addictology and police statistics, the features of illegal drug market are described. Comparing various facts, the crackdown on illegal drugs in the Czech Republic and the EU is analysed, and from statistical data - applying mathematical methods - the value of illegal drug market is estimated. Economic impact of chosen forms of organized crime is described by the assessment of their share in GDP and economy in general. In the conclusion of this thesis, some measures that could reduce the social and economic
impact are drawn.

Finanční náročnost důsledků katastrofických škod v posledním desetiletí výrazně změnila vztahy v pojišťovnictví, zprostředkovaně se dotkly větší části současné společnosti. Násobně vzrostly finanční transfery i význam analýz aktuálních změn nezatížených lobbyismem některého ze subjektů trhu. Práce obsahuje analýzy, lišící se od dostupných i komplexností, postihují všechny struktury příčin a důsledků změn. Jsou analyzovány i vývojové trendy v celosvětovém a tuzemském měřítku, logický dovozeny doporučení pro snížení vlastních nákladů všech subjektů na našem pojistném trhu i pro postupy při navržených realizacích.

This thesis analyses the relationship between insider trading regulation (broadly interpreted) and equity costs of firms on data from the Chinese, South African and Russian capital markets covering the years from 1995 to 2011. Time series analysis showed -- as expected -- that stock markets in each of the countries react in specific ways: E.g. none of the regulatory measures proved effective in decreasing the equity costs in the case of South Africa. Analysis of the Chinses and Russian data showed, however, a possible common feature of the participants on the two markets. It seems that these markets react to mere signals of upcoming regulatory measures rather than on these measures themselves. This interpretation of the results is thus in line with the rational expectations hypothesis.

Jednotlivé země srovnává na základě několika nejdůležitějších ukazatelů zkoumajících solventnost a likviditu. Data srovnává s ekonomikami jižní Asie a Jižní Ameriky. V teoretické části práce definuje zahraniční zadlužení, jeho vazbu na výkazy vnější pozice země a jeho možné příčiny a důsledky.

This thesis is concerned how people can handle with their finances with a focus on the use of credit products, debts and the potential impact of debts. Consequences of default are efforts of creditors to get money back, whether through specialized companies or judicial executor. The thesis deals with enforcement proceedings and then with insolvency proceedings. So what are possible solutions of debtor's situation if debtor is unable to pay his obligations. Bankruptcy and debt relief is described. There is also a survey that examines people's attitudes to manage their money, to advertisement for credits, whether people borrow money and have repayment problems. In conclusion there is recommendation how to repay your debts, how to deal with debt responsibility, and there is also a very discussed topic about financial literacy.

The thesis aims to analyze the economic and environmental consequences of the regulation to mandatorily blend bio-components into the fuel and prove its inefficiency. The theoretical part summarizes in detail the reasons of introducing the regulation, including the legislative framework, and generational evolution of biofuels. The analytical part uses statistical analysis of time series and price and efficiency indices to evaluate the effectiveness of biofuels in relation to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The impact of the introduction of biofuels on the economy is specified through fuel prices. The impact on engines as well as food prices and social environment is also mentioned.

My goal was to attempt to analyze impact of Kosovo crisis on international relations. Kosovo issue and its solutions have shaped two important principles of international relations in the last decade, which by repeating tend to become precedents. The first principle is humanitarian intervention without the mandate of UN, which was first applied in Yugoslavia in 1999. Similar action was applied in several different states during the last decade. Second principle, which is the main subject of my thesis, is unilateral declaration of independence which was recognized by more sovereign states then in previous occasions. By analysis of events in Georgia I tried to prove that separatism could become an instrument of international relations in future. Authority of UN is shaken in last decade and it could lead to reshaping of world order. Single-sided interpretation of morality and principles can replace international law. Apart from analyzing global impact of Kosovo crises I have tried to explore the problem in detail by researching the causes that let to conflict. Most of the attention I have devoted to period between 1974 and 1999, which I find crucial in the forming a situation that led to unilateral declaration in 2008. This dissertation studies the impact and consequences of possible retirement plan reforms on subjects in the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on classification of pension systems and fundamentals of the Czech pension system. Second part summarizes major aspects of the retirement plan reform. Changes in the pension system in the process of ageing of the population are highlighted in this section. Following is the fundamental part of the dissertation that will point out possible consequences of the retirement plan reform for the Czech Republic. The conclusion of the dissertation aims to discuss needs of all parties participating on the retirement plan reform and outline an optimal reform plan. This is the conflict point of the interest of the public and those of the government. However, it is a government's responsibily to act on behalf of the citizens and that is the paramount factor of the reform.

The main part is dedicated to the current approach in dealing with the consequences of accidents at work by statutory liability insurance, it also outlines the historical development, characteristics of the system, including its pros and cons. Furthermore, I analyze the situation around the accident insurance, which should replace the existing system. In the final part I deal with other possible approaches of compensation for work injuries, especially compulsory liability insurance.

Diplomová práce s názvem "Sebevražda jako důsledek mobbingu" se zabývá problematikou vlivu psychického teroru na pracovišti na sebevraždu jedince. Celková problematika jak sebevražd a také mobbingu je nastíněna v širších souvislostech. Práci jsem pomyslně rozdělila do dvou hlavních částí, z nichž první se věnuje sebevraždám. Vymezuji zde přístupy k sebevraždám, vývojové tendence sebevražedného jednání, způsoby a formy suicidálního jednání. Věnuji se také sociologickému pohledu na sebevraždu, tak jak jej vnímal Durkheim anebo Masaryk. Druhá část mé diplomové práce je zaměřena na popis a vysvětlení problému mobbingu. Snažila jsem se popsat, co to mobbing přesně je, jaké jsou jeho spouštěče a jaký má vztah k šikaně. Rozebrány jsou zde také fáze mobbingového procesu, jeho strategie a také důsledky. V závěru této části jsem se zaměřila také na obranu proti mobbingu ve světě a také u nás. Úplně poslední kapitola mé práce je věnována přímé souvislosti sebevraždy a mobbingu.

The object of this work is the denominationally neutral country. Work it occurs through "proper understanding" secularization, an understanding of the phe-nomenon of secularization as secularism world in its social structure and social relationships. In the first part follows the concept of the state as intended Swiss reformer John Calvin, while largely draws on the work of the American legal historian John Witte and the background of the Lutheran and Calvinist Refor-mation, mainly explores especially Calvin's understanding of the polity. The second part deals with the Czech environment and through the first Czechoslo-vak president and influential thinker and statesman of the 19th and 20th centu-ries, Tomas Garrigue Masaryk tries to map the transition from theocracy to democracy, or from an absolute to a democratic conception of the state. Given the breadth of the concept of new capitalism and possible topics that present themselves here, the main objective of this work is especially presentation of new capitalism as reflected in sociological literature and reference to its highly efficient nature. The work is also a reflection on key topics opened by leading theoreticians of contemporary capitalism. Using Weberian sociology, the work seeks to capture the development of capitalism and to grasp new contemporary capitalism. The development of capitalism is described by the development of three important aspects that appear early in modern capitalism which are important during its whole history up to the present. It is the development of the phenomenon of work, consumption and time. For these three phenomena, the presented work deals in particular with their tendency to become increasingly more efficient. Variabilita respiračních parametrů jako důsledek polohové segmentální diferenciace 2010 SUMMARY Work title: Variability of respiratory parameters as a consequence of postural segmental differentiation Aim of the thesis: To detect changes in breathing parameters depending on the position of body segments. Study is focusing on sitting and standing position, a research metodology a their measurements. The first part is focused on literature base of the thesis. In the second, special section, is making a research, where we panned respiratory parameters in the sitting and standing position. The aim is to compare the measured values between these 2 positions and make a conclusion. Methods: - Spirometry - Qualisys technology Results: Changes in respiratory parameters between sitting and standing were individual. Objectively, we found that in standing position against the sitting position increased on avarage values of vital lung capacity. Expansion of the chest in the sagittal plane measured by the distance of 2 points avarage declined in standing. Chest expansion measured by the area in the transverse plane in standing on average decreased. Conversely, increased chest expansion measured by the area in the sagittal plane. Iron is an essential trace element for almost all living organisms. Iron overload in cells and tissues, however, leads to their disruption. Most oftenly damaged are parenchymatic organs such as the liver, pancreas and heart. The aim of this thesis was to create cellular in vitro models for the investigation of effects of excess iron on hepatocytes and pancreatic beta cells and on these models to investigate cellular processes which lead to cellular damage during iron overload. We focused on examining the presence of oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum stress and the activation of apoptotic cell death. For our experiments, we used HEP-G2 cell line which represents human hepatocytes and NES2Y cell line which represents human pancreatic beta cells. To study the mechanisms of cellular damage during iron overload, we used two approaches by which we observed both acute and long-term effects of high levels of iron on damage of the tested cell lines. When studying the acute effect of excess iron on the cells, we applied high doses of iron (using 15 mM ferric citrate in medium) that led to the activation of cell death in hours. Long-term effects of iron overload were tested on cells regularly cultivated in the presence of 50 μM and 100 μM ferric citrate over a period of several months. Iron concentrations...

One of the most interesting extraterrestrial bodies in the Solar System is Europa, the icy satellite of Jupiter. This icy moon might have a sufficiently hospitable environment which could be harbouring life in the subsurface ocean deep under its icy crust. The thesis thoroughly examines the generation process of one of the surface formations called chaotic terrains. These huge areas of ice disruptions which uniquely characterize Europa's surface might play a significant role in the understanding of the inner structure of the moon. The latest research assumes the chaotic terrains form above liquid water lenses perched relatively shallow in the ice shell, however, no numerical simulations have been performed to confirm this theory. The goal of the thesis is to create a model which would validate the theory and explain the formation process of the chaotic terrains. The thesis runs several simulations, and our results suggest these water lenses and the process in the mantle might play a key role in the chaotic terrains formation.

The diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of the digital divide and its influence on the quality of life of seniors. The digital divide - a product of the modern information society - is one of the major factors influencing the social exclusion of elderly people. The theoretical part of theses introduces the concept of active aging as a way of successful solving problems associated with the population ageing, as well as a prevention of the exclusion of seniors from both society and participation in public affairs. The author mainly focuses on the issue of how are seniors in the Czech Republic at risk of exclusion as a result of digital exclusion. In the practical part, the present level of digital literacy of Czech seniors is explored. Following qualitative research - semi-structured interviews with experts - aims to find out whether the digital divide represents a social problem for the elderly people in the Czech Republic that contributes to their inequal position among the society, or even causes their exclusion from the participation in governance, and consequently, reduces the quality of their lives.

This diploma thesis deals with the Achilles tendinopathy, and particularly with its etiopatogenetics. The theoretical part includes information about the Achilles tendon, tendinopathy of Achilles tendon and a summary of dysfunctions of the locomotor system. We assumed that the dysfunction of the locomotor system is the main etiopatogenetic factor of the Achilles tendinopathy, and that it results in changes of its position and loading. In the practical part we tried to reveal these dysfunctions by examination of seven patients, and to prove its main etiopatogenetic influence by a successfull therapy. The diploma thesis deals with neonatal abstinence syndrome which occur to newborns whose mothers were on addictive illegal drugs in the time of pregnancy. The most frequently taken drugs are canabinoids, stimulancias, opiods and opiates, halucinogens, and drugs taken during substitutional therapy. Neonatal abstinence syndrome is a multisystem disorder that frequently affects central nervous system, gastrointestinal system, respiratory system and autonomic system. To diagnose neonatal abstinence system is the most important careful monitoring of baby in the first days of its life. There are different scoring systems which have been developed for assessing the severity of neonatal abstinence syndrome, we use the Finnegan scoring system. Treatment of neonatal abstinence syndrome is mainly supportive and pharmacological therapy. There are also social serious consequences of this problems; mothers are usually not able to take care of babies and children live in children's homes. The aims of this study were to find out special needs of newborns born to mothers using addictive illegal drugs during pregnancy, to find care interventions which help newborns with neonatal abstinence syndrome in their first days of life and to discover interventions helping mothers stop using addictive illegal drugs. The theoretical part of this study is based on research of already presented scientific studies. The practical part of the study problems of neonates of mothers using addictive illegal drugs in first days after delivery. We have used Virginia Henderson's need theory to evaluate neonate's need. We have chosen only the most important elementary components out of 14 components in Virginia Henderson's need theory. I was also trying to find out if nurses know how to help neonates with neonatal abstinence syndrome and what nursing interventions have positive influence to neonates. Another goal was to know how nurses communicate with mothers and if they have positive influence on mothers. The method of communication with mother using addictive illegal drugs was semistructured interview. I wanted to know what kind of addictive drugs mothers were using during pregnancy and if mothers tried to solve their problem in pregnancy, before delivery. Results are sorted into categories and subcategories and showed in diagrams and tables. Neonates of mothers using addictive illegal drugs during pregnancy have problems in all investigated needs such as breathe, eat and drink adequately, sleep and rest, thermoneutral zone and social need. I also found out that some nursing intervences have positive influence on neonates with neonatal abstinence syndrome. Very important intervenes were individual contact with each neonate and quick reaction to every change in behavior. It is also necessary to respect their sleep and rest time, take nursing and medical care together in blocks, use non-pharmacological treatment of pain, feed them individually according to their needs and also try different techniques of feeding, put babies into the right position and eventually nestle, rock or touch them. In last part of the study we discuss mothers who use addictive illegal drugs. We found out that nurses did not speak with them very actively, did not offer them to breast-feed in special conditions, did not tell them about possibility to be with neonate together in the hospital until a discharge. On the other hand, mothers were not interested in the breast-feeding or staying with babies. The goal of the study was to create brochure with information of negative consequences of taking addictive drugs on babies. This brochure is convenient for education of mother and students as well.

This study deals with the ethnic conflict in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The main objective of this study is to analyse whether the valued territory of the Niger Delta region is the cause of the ethnic conflict in the country. Moreover, the geographical south-east region of Nigeria is trying to separate itself from the rest of the federation because the Igbo population inhabiting this region claims they are being marginalised in the country. However, if the south-east region, called also Biafra, becomes the Biafran Republic it is highly probable that the south-south is going to separate along. The federal government is not satisfied with the fact, as 80% of the federal revenue comes from the Niger Delta region and they do not want to loose it. Therefore, my findings show that if the movement for the secession of Biafra is going to be crushed down by force, the movement will radicalise and get stronger with the intensified dissatisfaction of the local population. The main goal of this thesis is to examine the effect of Czech's 2008 at rate personal income tax reform on consumption, income and tax evasion since there is a belief that personal income tax rates are partially responsible for high levels of tax evasion. We use the gap between household expenditures and reported income as a proxy for tax evasion with the Czech microeconomic data from the 2006-2008 Household Budget Survey. Employing difference-in-difference approach, we find no effect of the Czech at personal income tax rate on tax evasion for households with one economically active individual in the year 2008 relative to households experiencing no change.

The thesis searches relatedness between several parameters defined methamphetamine abuse (intensity, length of use) and the length of the event period. Research core thesis are qualitative case analyzes, in which the emphasis is a typical manifestation of toxic psychosis and its descriptive progress with regard to mentioned parameters of abuse and also to accentuate the importance of toxic psychosis borders as a result of methamphetamine abuse, compared with endogenous psychoses of schizophrenia circuit. The aim of this thesis is to describe individual cases manifestations of psychosis through five client stories and explore the process of psychical recovery and regression of clinical symptoms in time, in clients with the prospect of full recovery. Diploma thesis Mediatization as a consequence of self-presentation on social networks: publishing norms and their influence on Instagram users explores how Instagram and its affordances are able to change the behavior of its users, focusing on the aspect of photo sharing and related publishing norms. The aim of this work is to find out the practices which users do with photos and because of them before sharing them on Instagram, but above all it is about deeper understanding of the detected behavior and exploring whether and how such behavior interferes with users' lives. Within the theoretical part, the reader is acquainted with the development of the image, the origin of photography, its manipulations and changes in the digital era. Furthermore, the thesis presents visual social networks, the principles of Instagram operation and findings from current studies on the topic of self-presentation on social networks. In the last part, I deal specifically with Instagram photography, its types, methods of editing and sharing, based mainly on two current studies on this topic, the authors of which are Lev Manovich and Elisa Serafinelli. The second half of the thesis presents the research methodology, its design, results and final summary.

This thesis deals with affecting the dynamics of intraocular fluid in patiens with glaucoma. Incidence of this disease grows steadily for years. In the beginning, this work provides description on anatomy and physiology of anterior chamber angle and circulation of aqueous humour. There is also comprehensive introspection on elementary, as well as some very advanced diagnostic methods . Following chapters describe various therapeutic modalities of glaucoma, both conservative pharmacotherapy and laser or surgical interventions on ciliary body and anterior chamber angle. The major part of this thesis is processing of results from important studies on this topic within last 5 years, assessing the.changes of intraocular pressure before and after laser and surgical interventions. Results show, that both lead to good improvement of intraocular pressure, bearing in mind the importace of individual attempt for each patient. At last, preventive aspects of glaucoma disease are discussed, and some measures, which may help to decrease the impact on public health are mentioned.

In the first chapter, the beginning of the European integration is briefly described as well as the evolution of the European Union along with more detailed description of the negotiations and ratification of the Lisbon treaty. Second chapter contains information on constitutional characteristics of the European Union before the effect of the Lisbon treaty. Third chapter is aimed on the formal elements of the Lisbon treaty and contains thorough description of the global changes it has on the legal systems of the member states. Subject of the closing chapter is the effect the treaty have caused on the constitutional order of the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part I deal with hearing defects in general, then with the early diagnosis of hearing defects and its importance for the cochlear implantation. I introduce the process of the implantation, its history and news in the technology of this area. During my study visit I had an opportunity to use the specialist literature in the Netherlands and therefore compare the Czech and the Dutch situation. In the practical part of this work I monitored (in assistance of a questionnaire) psycho-social consequences of the implant of the teenage users (its influence on feeling of independence, family relationships, communication and study results).

The thesis is focused on an analysis and description of psychosocial consequences in war conflicts with main emphasis on conflicts of an internal character which are prevalent at the present. The most risk groups are children, women, refugees, displaced people and soldiers. Foreign print bibliographies with the electronic version documents were used as main information and reference sources. A part of information has been acquired from interviews conducted in a model country. A significant part is also dedicated to the armed conflict problems in Colombia which cause the second largest displacement in the world. The author has made an attempt to identify and expressed schematically causes and correlated consequences in each target group. The common characteristic element of all individuals suffering from armed conflicts is their exposure to a human maltreatment. There is also mentioned a support of international organizations which significantly participate in a prevention and mitigation of the most serious psychosocial consequences.

The topic of this thesis is "Property consequences of the divorce of marriage". I have chosen this topic because of the high number of divorces that are filed for. This thesis characterises the two main property consequences of divorce, the settlement of community property of spouses and the settlement of common household of spouses. The purpose of the thesis is to compare the current legislation, contained in the Civil code from 1964 with the proposal of the new Civil code, analyse the advantages and disadvantages of both acts and express my opinion on it. The thesis is composed of eight chapters. Chapter One is introductory and defines the purpose of this thesis. Chapter Two defines the term "divorce", its three types and consequences of divorce. The theoretical part of the thesis reveals the history of Cannabis, gives basic characteristics of Cannabis-based drugs and their sorts. Hereafter, the active substances of marihuana and manifestations of intoxication are quoted. The main emphasis is put on the description of risks related to the use of this soft drug. The medical, mental and social risks are commented. One chapter is dedicated to applicable legislation. Consecutively, various approaches of drug politics and its specifics are mentioned. The attention is also paid to the prevention and subsequently te the assistance to the drug users. The practical part of thesis is focused on the public and professional opinion referring to the possible risks of marihuana use. The attention is paid to the general attitude to this drug as well.
