Biological communication behavior is in everywhere, all over the nature, biological system and human society. In simple terms, Swarm intelligence is emerging though information communication and collaboration among some dispersed and simple individuals. Inspired by biological communication behavior, aimed at understanding swarm system collective dynamics behavior, and from the point of system cybernetics, this paper study the relevant biological communication dynamic model, such as the symbiotic model, attractive-repulsive model, external effect model and the multi-population coevolution model

Parking is an old concept, which fundamentally involves leaving a vehicle at a place. Parking has been considered as a subsidiary activity to owning a car. However, these days owning a car has become the norm, which leads to a greater demand for parking. Unregulated parking demand often leads to increased traffic congestion, when there are not enough parking spaces to keep up with the demand. Congestion itself has a negative impact on the environment and causes safety issues. A common solution to reduce congestion have been by influencing the demand for parking spaces through parking prices. D

Multiple physiological systems regulate the electric communication signal of the weakly electric gymnotiform fish, Brachyhypopomuspinnicaudatus. Fish were injected with neuroendocrine probes which identified pharmacologically relevant serotonin (5-HT) receptors similar to the mammalian 5-HT1AR and 5-HT2AR. Peptide hormones of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal/interrenal axis also augment the electric waveform. These results indicate that the central serotonergic system interacts with the hypothalamic-pituitaryinterrenal system to regulate communication signals in this species. The same neuroe

The convergence of data, audio and video on IP networks is changing the way individuals, groups and organizations communicate. This diversity of communication media presents opportunities for creating synergistic collaborative communications. This form of collaborative communication is however not without its challenges. Techniques from engineering, economics and control theory are used in this thesis to investigate the effectiveness of dynamic pricing for demand control and capacity optimisation in cellular mobile networks. The scope is extended to include pricing strategies that can provide a certain target revenue for the network operator. Algorithms for the application of dynamic pricing in voice and data networks are suggested. Mathematical models are developed to predict the effect of dynamic pricing on the network operator's market share and the overall user demand, including the effect of variable tari

Abstract:
The effect of time delays on the stability of a recently proposed continuum approach for controlling a multi agent system (MAS) evolving in n-D under a special local inter-agent communication protocol is considered. There a homogenous map determined by n+1 leaders is learned by the follower agents each communicating with n+1 adjacent agents. In this work both position and velocity information of adjacent agents are used for local control of follower agents whereas in previous work [1, 2] only position information of adjacent agents was used. Mobile sensor networks have been widely used to predict spatio-temporal physical phenomena for various scientific and engineering applications. To accommodate the realistic models of mobile sensor networks, we incorporated probabilistic wireless communication links based on packet reception ratio (PRR) with distributed navigation. We then derived models of mobile sensor networks that predict Gaussian random fields from noise-corrupted observations under probabilistic wireless communication links. For the given model with probabilistic wireless communication links, we derived the prediction err

In this paper, a multi agent system (MAS) is considered as particles of a continuum deforming under a specific class of homeomorphic mappings, called a homogenous transformation. We have recently showed how a desired homogenous mapping of the MAS in a n–D space can be prescribed by transient positions of n + 1 leaders placed at the vertices of a n–D polytope, called leading polytope [1–9]. In this article, we first minimize the acceleration norm with (i) initial and final positions of the leaders known and (ii) leaders (located at the vertices of the leading polytope) are constrained to move i
