The article considers the problem of dysgraphia as one of types of written speech disorders, studied by speech therapists, psychologists, neurophysiologists and neuropsychologists of different countries for more than hundred years, but still one of most difficult and urgent till now. It is explained, that writing disorders are denoted in the special literature by the term “dysgraphia”. It is noted, that the term “dyslexia” is actively used by foreign scientists. In several countries (USA, UK) writing disorders are considered as ones, accompanied by dyslexia. Using the t

Five to ten percent of school-aged children display dysgraphia, a neuro-motor disorder that causes difficulties in handwriting, which becomes a handicap in the daily life of these children. Yet, the diagnosis of dysgraphia remains tedious, subjective and dependent to the language besides stepping in late in the schooling. We propose a pre-diagnosis tool for dysgraphia using drawings called graphomotor tests. These tests are recorded using graphical tablets. We evaluate several machine-learning models and compare them to build this tool. A database comprising 305 children from the region of Gre

The article deals with the problem of a neuropsychological approach to studying the causes of written speech disorders. It was determined that the formation of writing skills is a complex long-term process that directly relies on a fairly high level of development of basic mental functions, motor, sensory and emotional readiness of students of lower grades to perceive and recode speech material. The classification of dysgraphia is considered taking into account the neuropsychological approach. Abstract:
Dysgraphia is a learning disability that causes handwritten production below expectations. Its diagnosis is delayed until the completion of handwriting development. To allow a preventive training program, abilities not directly related to handwriting should be evaluated, and one of them is visual perception. To investigate the role of visual perception in handwriting skills, we gamified standard clinical visual perception tests to be played while wearing an eye tracker at three difficulty levels. Then, we identified children at risk of dysgraphia through the means of a handwriting speed test.

Among the main risk factors are age, atrial fibrillation (AF), diabetes, dyslipidemia and physical inactivity. The main etiology of stroke is cardioembolic, resulting in obstruction of the cerebral arteries by a thrombus of cardiac origin. The artery most affected in ischemic strokes is the middle cerebral artery. The stroke has main characteristics, with emphasis on the sudden onset of symptoms, involvement of a focal area, ischemia caused by obstruction of a vessel and neurological deficits dependi
