Trombay Jodhpur Mustard 2 (TJM 2) has been notified by Central Variety Release Committee (CVRC) for cultivation in the state of Rajasthan [S.O. No. 4388 (E) 8th October, 2024]. The brinjal shoot and fruit borer (BSFB), Leucinodes orbonalis (Guen©e) (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) is a key pest of brinjal. Studies were carried out on the development of its in vitro rearing on artificial diet on a large scale.
