Full textSUMMERY Personnel Education in State Institution A basic problem being the study object of the thesis entitled Personnel Education in State Institution is our ever changing (improving) life and the unprepared community (the employees of the State Company VISAGINO ENERGIJA). In other words, here one gets insight into and examines why it is precisely the persons who are employed at the State Company VISAGINO ENERGIJA have not been comprehensively prepared for the changes that require a continuous training (improvement), meanwhile, it is precisely nowadays that a reconstruction (improvement of technologies and installation of new equipment) of the divisions at the State Company VISAGINO ENERGIJA is taking place. An anonymous quiz has been carried out during the study with the help of a questionnaire. After having analysed the obtained data, factors that might facilitate or perhaps even solve the raised problem are presented. Also, during the study one has obtained sufficiently positive results. One of the most important obtained results is that most questioned company's employees have a positive attitude to the need of training during one's whole life and also believe that it is indispensable to change (train and improve) themselves. During the quiz a respondents' opinion that an initiative for training (improving) must arise from employees themselves has become clear. In parallel, the reasons why some respondents are willing to improve their qualifications, but do not do so... [to full text]

Full textAdaptive electronic learning – a kind of electronic learning that meets the learner`s requirements. This learning is the most similar to traditional learning. Students with different knowledge of computer literacy enter the university every year, so it would be useful to compensate the lack of their knowledge. Students could compensate the lack of knowledge on their own, by applying an adaptive electronic course. In order to achieve this goal, it was decided to create a system of adaptive electronic learning. Here are the analyses made while creating the system: • A survey that clarified people`s attitudes towards adaptive electronic learning was made; • An analysis of an existing system of electronic learning creation and courses of electronic learning was made; • The types of possible feedback were analysed; • A system database that keeps the main data related to the user and his learning evaluations was developed; • A system prototype for learning of two parts of the course was designed; • An experiment of 18 people taking adaptive electronic learning was carried out. The results were compared with those of learning the same material in traditional way.

Full textThe Bachelor's work content the analysis of the garages of solution of small textual mathematical problems among learners having special educational needs, and attempts to seek for ways of training helping to understand and correctly solve textual problems. The hypothesis has been formulated that if children with special needs are trained in certain methods of solving generalised textual mathematical problems, the solution outcomes of textual problems improves and many mistakes can be avoided. The study was carried out in Kaunas Medical University Hospital, Children's Neurology Department, treating epileptic children and other children with neurological disorders from various Lithuanian towns and villages. The study included 40 learners of 3rd and 4th grades with neurological disorders, with low special educational needs, studying in general education schools, according to modified mathematics curricula. Declarative study result showed that children with special needs differently understand some of the textual problems. The clearest of them are plain text problems. The study showed that most of respondents, solving complex textual problems, do not understand the condition of the problem, do not understand the meaning of values given in the task and that relations between them, experience distrust in themselves and do not even try to begin solving most of the problems. The most prevalent errors in learners’ works: wrong choice of action, calculation errors, erroneous naming of... [to full text]

In the final Master’s degree thesis the main goal of this paper is art teaching of teenagers of Youth school by non-traditional lessons evaluating their efficiency. This thesis consists of three main parts: analysis of literature, analysis and results of the accomplished scientific performance research, conclusions and recommendations. Analysis made aiming to achieve the goal of the psychological, pedagogical literature and education legislation documents revealed that there is no one appropriate art teaching method at the Youth school that is efficient enough to absorb the learning material. The students of the Youth school are learning according to the General Programs and Education Standards (2003) and very often the learning material is not appropriately absorbed because of limited teaching and learning quality due to low learning motivation of the teenagers, destructive and asocial behavior during the lessons, learning gaps because of low attendance or not timely submitted pedagogical support. Practice research in the Youth school proved that in the art teaching of the teenagers is important to appropriate evaluate their capacities, abilities and interests, determine the reasons of the destructive behavior and evaluate it, organize the lessons in the way that meets the teenagers’ self-expression demand and competence level in order the art learning lessons are attractive and interesting... Full textAll citizens independently from their social status, residential area or age have a possibility to study in comfortable surroundings: educational institution, work, home. This is the main objective of life-long learning where education must go along with a person from his/her birth to old age. The most important research done in ten years time shows our society and scientists’ great attention to children education and inner and outer factors which affect it. Since the 20th century Lithuanian and foreign sociologists have emphasized that parents’ education (and general socio-cultural) level often affects their wish and readiness to give their children higher education. The work is significant both theoretically and practically because the influence of the factors has not been studied in Vilnius Užupis high school.

Full textThis thesis presents Christian concepts of Heaven and Hell dogmas perceived by the Roman Catholic Church and the youth subculture. For this purpose it presents the official position of the Church (documents, papal writings, etc..) and today's theological hypothesis; In the practical part of the work it presents the the youth (14-25 years) survey‘s result about Heaven and Hell. Attention is drawn to the context that Christian concepts of Heaven and Hell are too little understood among the believers and between people who are not members of the Church. These perceived overly simplistic dogma and often - a parody, and this is mostly influenced by means of mass communication, movies and books. Therefore, this thesis propose the "active" Heaven model. This is a theological hypothesis, which emphasizes feelings, real-life experience, love, art and other subjects relevant to young people. This is important to reflect on the Christian perspective of eternity. We believe that the Church, emphasizing the „active“ Heaven model "active" could significantly reduce the gap between the theological claims and the young man, in addition to such talk would benefit the faith of the most members of the Church.

Industrial capital converts to human capital, what plays more important role. Strategically documents of Europe union, which regulate lifelong learning, are orientated to knowledge based models, but European countries implement these models in different ways. Structural support of EU funds made an opportunity to strengthen/enhance the effectiveness of lifelong learning in Lithuania, but the use of support was chaotic and not directed to changes of models structure.

Full textNational and global education (learning) systems are in a crisis: the gap between citizens who have access to quality education and who don’t have is growing. To tackle this problem life long training (learning) system development is urgent. Lithuania has created a public education strategy for 2003–2012, its essence is the development of socially just, accessible education system, enabling the public to learn throughout their lives. One form of such training (learning) is distance learning based on the use of modern ICT. Essence of Lithuanian distance education is the development of distance education (learning) network that provides everyone with accessible lifelong learning (teaching). Student mobility, migration of parents etc. suggests that distance education (learning) needs may be felt in mainstream schools, so for analysis the following topic was chosen: “Distance education (learning) in general education schools: situation and needs analysis”. Research object is distance learning (teaching) in Lithuanian general education schools. Purpose of the survey is to analyse the need in the distance education (learning) in the Lithuanian general education schools. The objectives are: to analyze modern distance education (learning) concept, its theoretical framework, to analyze distance education (learning) situation and need in Lithuanian education system, to reveal distance education (learning) situation and its need in the Lithuanian general education schools, its demand... Full textThe purpose of this thesis was to create a research based theoretical model for the graphic design training as a part of the art education process in the after-school activities. The thesis consists of introduction where the purpose of the thesis is formulated, the methods of the research are determined, the relevance of the subject is reasoned, three theoretical parts directly connected with the purpose of the thesis ant the part of empiric research consisting of the analysis of the practical data of graphic design training model implementation. The thesis is concluded with the four findings that summarises the theoretical and empirical parts, the list of literature resources and the annexes. In order to achieve the above mentioned purpose, four goals were formulated and each of them separately discussed. The first goal was to describe the art training distinctive features in the after-school activities. This goal as well as the second ¬– to reveal visual and semantic potential of the graphic design – was achieved through analysis of the legislation and scientific literature resources. The subsequent goal was to create a theoretical graphic design training model and it was achieved using scientific recommendations to base art training not on the relation to the already existing art work but on the pedagogical influence during the creation process. For the realization of the model active training methods, reflective practise are recommended to be applied and pedagogical... [to full text]

Full textThe concept of multimedia is widely widespread in modern information technologies. To tell evidently and clearly about one or the other thing, we are using the elements of multimedia. It is a concept, apparently, indivisibly with a term the Internet. Multimedia is often using in traditional education. So it means, that teaching in distance cannot be using without multimedia. Even when we do not suspect, we are using elements of multimedia, for example: when we press the hyperlink, read the text or look at a picture. Multimedia is an excellent way to transfer various information to the student: the sound, an image or the mood. There is no limit for using it. But the question is: are we always using advantages of the multimedia information? Is the using of multimedia is useful? I will try to answer to these and to the other questions in my job. Statements and hypotheses will be proved and checked up in practice. The virtual learning environment system, which responds the request, will be created for this purpose. Object of research: multimedia in distance education. The purpose of work: to analyze use of multimedia in distance education and to create a virtual learning system for comparison and demonstrations of Multimedia.

Full textLegal education is a significant and essential element in order the society would bring up a fair, moral, responsible and truthful person. A person will be able to comprehensively express oneself as a moral citizen only when one will know not only one‟s rights and duties, but also will understand and respect laws, rights and freedoms of other people. School is such an institution, which will help to acquire the main legal knowledge. However, just imparting the knowledge is not enough for the mentioned institution to raise a moral citizen. Therefore, during legal education lessons it is essential to implement, realize reflective teaching, which may help to reach more qualitative teaching results, seeing not only into the imparted knowledge, but also to oneself, one‟s feelings, observing one‟s activity and strides. Consequently, realization of reflective teaching principles in legal education lessons is a relevant topic. It should be noted that reflective teaching has been widely studied in adult education. However, it has not been studied yet how reflective teaching may be realized in general education schools, legal education lessons. The subject of the thesis and the research object is realization of reflective teaching principles in legal education lessons. The aim of the thesis is to analyze realization of reflective teaching principles in legal education lessons. In consideration of the aim of the thesis the hypothesis has been formulated – realization of reflective... [to full text]
