Currently, there is a lack of affordable and simple tools for the estimation of these costs, especially for machining operations. This is particularly true for manufacturing SMEs, in which the cost estimation of machined parts is usually performed based only on required material for part production, or involves a time-consuming, non-standardized technical analysis. Therefore, a cost estimation tool was developed, based on the calculated machining times and amount of required material, based on the final drawing of the requested workpiece. It is a common practise that measurements of road surface conditions are made using professional and expensive apparatus. Typically a van or a truck equipped with a set of professional sensors i.e. laser scanners of surface is used, therefore the measurement update period is often quite long. Two alternative low-cost methods for estimating road pavement defects and failures were proposed and investigated by the authors. The first one is based on accelerometers application and the other one employs image analysis acquired by cameras installed on a vehicle.

The method chosen for this problem is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The most economical amount of inventory can be determined by calculating the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This economical amount of stock can invest embedded in inventory materials, not excessive,

The commonly used method for high resolution velocity analysis in seismic data processing and interpreting is based on signal estimation algorithm. However, the numerical realization of this method is complicated and time-consuming due to the process of signal-noise separation requiring enormous loop calculations before constructing the energy function. In this paper, we improved the method on the base of multi-trace signal estimation. This improved method made full use of amplitude information that can enhance the anti-noise ability and improve the resolution greatly. Meanwhile, this method h

Abstract:
In this paper, a distributed economic dispatch scheme considering power limit is proposed to minimize the total active power generation cost in a droop-based autonomous direct current (DC) microgrid. The economical dispatch of the microgrid is realized through a fully distributed hierarchical control. In the tertiary level, an incremental cost consensus-based algorithm embedded into the economical regulator is utilized to search for the optimal solution. In the secondary level, the voltage regulator estimating the average voltage of the DC microgrid is used to generate the voltage correction i

A simple, rapid, sensitive and accurate UV-spectrophotometric method has been developed for the estimation of zileuton in pharmaceutical formulation. The method was developed by using 0.1 N Sodium hydroxide as a solvent and absorbance was measured at 230 nm. The drug exhibited the linearity in the concentration range of 1-6 μg/ml with correlation coefficient of 0.9993. The % recovery of the drug was found to be 98.62 % - 100.5 %. The method was validated as per ICH guidelines. The proposed methods are economical and sensitive for the estimation of zileuton in bulk and tablet dosage form.

Energy systems should be analysed according to principles of sustainable development. The optimality of technical systems usually is evaluated by only technical and economical criteria. But the estimation of these criteria is not comprehensive enough in the case when system life cycle is much longer than the period of reliable economical prognosis. In this paper the criteria set of energy system evaluation and optimisation was expanded by energy and ecological standpoints and a new multiple criteria indicator (3E factor ‐ Energy, Economy, Ecology) was introduced. The application of this factor
