This paper in particular deals with the analysis and reviews of the ecotourism policies and the framework of the state of Uttarakhand and the Indian government. In general, it evaluates and discusses the future and significance of the natural resources for the development of the community-based ecotourism in Uttarakhand for the sustainable development of the villages including conservation of biological diversity. This paper argues that the homestay programme, if encouraged, might help the state to achieve its goal of ecotourism and the green economy. Tourism was given an industry status by the government of Uttarakhand in 2018, providing attractive incentives and subsidies. Nevertheless, there is still a need for the appropriate policy framework for the better management of the natural resources, development and the training of the various stakeholders and the entrepreneurs involved in the community-based ecotourism industry.

Abstract:
Ecotourism very support for conservation. Ecotourism may assist with preservation of natural resources and ecotourism functions in comparison to other alternatives, such as mass tourism. This study aims to analyze the sustainability status of ecotourism management for preserving natural resources and ecosystem functions. This study is a survey on ecotourism destinations Clungup Mangrove Conservation (CMC). To analyze the level of sustainability, 9 dimensions were analyzed based on theoretical and empirical studies. The dimensions consisted of (1) conservation, (2) participation, (3) recreation and education, (4) economy, (5) control, (6) government, (7) ecotourism center, (8) academics/researchers, and (9) social media. This study employed quantitative analysis using Rapfish application with Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) to assess the status and sustainability index of marine tourism management (CMC). The result revealed that the sustainability status of marine ecotourism management in CMC was categorized as “highly sustainable”. The highest value was the conservation dimension and the lowest value was in the government dimension. Therefore, government support for improving the role of ecotourism regarding preservation of natural resources and ecosystem functions is required. The government can give its support through implementing regulations, facilitating ecotourism management, designing public policy for ecotourism, and planning government policies that benefit the development of ecotourism.

Abstract:
Ecotourism gives priority to ecological resource integrity, environmental conservation, community development and economic development by maintaining low-impact and non-consumptive use of local resources. There are different forms of ecotourism developed worldwide as community based ecotourism, ecosystem ecotourism, cultural ecotourism, nature based ecosystem, protected area ecotourism and rural ecotourism. It focuses on meeting three concurrent goals of biodiversity conservation, poverty reduction and business viability using sustainable principles and practices. In sustainable ecotourism, local government officials, local communities, NGOs, private sector and management committee had a great role for tourism development and maintaining healthy cooperation and coordination. Ecotourism had more beneficial impacts compared to adverse impacts on the environment, society and culture. It emphasizes the protection of natural resources, biological diversity and sustainability of resource. It increases mobility of people, social stability and harmony; strengthen traditional culture, hospitality and folkway; and decreases political conflicts. Economic benefits from ecotourism include direct employment in hotels, lodges, tourist restaurants, and tourist chauff euring. It is an integral part of the master development strategy of a developing nation. In Nepal, ecotourism helps to enhance forest cover, flora, fauna, greenery, alternative energy sources, natural resource, biodiversity and other environmental benefits. It had helped in controlling antisocial activities, conserving religious and cultural heritage, maintaining peace and prosperity and increase in cooperation of people with religious beliefs and religious tolerance. It had a great role in poverty alleviation, rural development, agricultural transformation, community enrichment and social empowerment of women in Nepal. In the early stage of ecotourism development, it is difficult to have adequate private agencies and local people involved in delivering lodging, fooding, tour management and tourism activities during peak visitation season. There is need of training on nature guiding, cooking, sustainable use of tourism resources, proper handling of tourism demands, expertise in park management and finance management.THE GAZEJOURNAL OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITYVol. 8 No.1 Year 2017, page: 1-19

Abstract:
The article recommends a methodological approach, that includes the analysis of natural and recreational, cultural, historical, and socio-economic factors to assess the potential of ecotourism development. The indicators and parameters of the assessment are established, qualitative and quantitative values are determined, they enable evaluation of the impact of each criterion on the assessment of the potential for ecotourism development in points. The authors identified organizational and economic factors of ecotourism development in the region: insufficient funding for natural parks improvement activities; lack of equipped ecological trails and routes; insufficient information and personnel support. On the basis of the proposed methodology, the potential for ecotourism development in natural parks of the Volgograd region was assessed. The article highlights risks of ecological tourism development in the Volgograd region: the lack of a unified system of state accounting and monitoring of the state of natural resources; low efficiency of control and supervisory activities; the spread of environmentally non-adaptive forms of nature management in the region; the low level of ecological culture of the population. The potential for ecotourism development determines opportunities for the implementation of main functions of specially protected natural areas: ecological, scientific and educational, socio-economic, which together forms a system of conditions for sustainable development of rural areas.

Abstract:
The increase in ecotourism popularity at a global level is a consequence of the increased human concern for the state of natural resources. This type of alternative tourism is increasingly present in tourist trends around the world. For developing countries, ecotourism can be an opportunity for accelerating economic development by exploiting natural resources, without changing their original state. Although it offers great opportunities, the management of tourism in protected or unprotected natural assets is a great challenge. The importance of integrating the actions of all stakeholders and the usage of strategic approach are often neglected. The aim of this paper is to generate strategies for the development of ecotourism in Bor and its surroundings. For this purpose, a combined SWOT-TOWS methodology is applied. Based on the obtained results, nine strategies are proposed, whose implementation would enable the usage of natural and cultural and historical potentials for the revival of ecotourism in this area.

Abstract:
Protected area visitation is an important component of ecotourism, and as such, must be sustainable. However, protected area visitation may degrade natural resources, particularly in areas of concentrated visitor activities like trails and recreation sites. This is an important concern in ecotourism destinations such as Belize and Costa Rica, because they actively promote ecotourism and emphasize the pristine qualities of their natural resources. Research on visitor impacts to protected areas has many potential applications in protected area management, though it has not been widely applied in Central and South America. This study targeted this deficiency through manager interviews and evaluations of alternative impact assessment procedures at eight protected areas in Belize and Costa Rica. Impact assessment procedures included qualitative condition class systems, ratings systems, and measurement-based systems applied to trails and recreation sites. The resulting data characterize manager perceptions of impact problems, document trail and recreation site impacts, and provide examples of inexpensive, efficient and effective rapid impact assessment procedures. Interview subjects reported a variety of impacts affecting trails, recreation sites, wildlife, water, attraction features and other resources. Standardized assessment procedures were developed and applied to record trail and recreation site impacts. Impacts affecting the study areas included trail proliferation, erosion and widening, muddiness on trails, vegetation cover loss, soil and root exposure, and tree damage on recreation sites. The findings also illustrate the types of assessment data yielded by several alternative methods and demonstrate their utility to protected area managers. The need for additional rapid assessment procedures for wildlife, water, attraction feature and other resource impacts was also identified.

<p>This article emerges from the analysis of the data corresponding to the tourism activity in the world and in Mexico, considering: the arrival of tourists and international visitors, and the arrival of tourists in the North American region. Subsequently, it is intended to place ecotourism as an option for sustainable development, which helps generate additional income for local communities and contributes to the protection and conservation of natural resources. The analysis of global tourism in the above categories, in addition to the discussion about the criteria and characteristics of ecotourism versus sustainable development, allows us to visualize the potential that this activity poses to emerging economies such as Mexico. The discussion about Ecotourism and sustainability shows that there is a mutually beneficial relationship when the community is incorporated in the development of ecotourism projects, as demonstrated in EcoAlberto Park. Nonetheless, an activity that has no government support or equitable tourism legislation, in addition to the absence of quality research, can overshadow any potential natural resource to practice ecotourism activities in global markets representing tourism.</p>

The Climate change in world tourism can change the system of human life and its influence on nature. The development of the global digital tourism climate, selfi tourism is able to change the attitude of individual behavior in response to the demands of competitive life. The development of tourist destinations in the world, primarily from natural factors, the demands of a sharp competitive climate require tourism managers to create artificial innovations that are developed from natural potentials that are more attractive in design so that they become alternative ecotourism idols capable of boosting tourism growth that is more conducive and attractive. This research develops river ecotourism areas which are oriented to aspects of environmental development, nature preservation and local community development. This study uses qualitative research so that it can explore various aspects of the natural and humanity of the region in depth through the empirical phenomena that exist in the field. The real condition of river area which is not well managed is not in accordance with the development of Smart city, community awareness and tourism activists who are less focused. Abstract:
Ecotourism is a form of tourism which supports biodiversity conservation, socio-cultural development and economic enhancement of a country. It had positive as well as negative impacts on environmental, social and economic aspects of the environment. In the context of Nepal, ecotourism had supported conservation of flora and fauna, livelihood of poor and needy people and development of culture and society. Researchers have used direct observation, questionnaire surveys, focus group discussions and key informant interviews to collect the primary data and different published documents, journals and books for collecting secondary data on ecotourism issues. Also, they have used different analytical techniques based on tabular representation, graphical presentations and statistical methods. Ecotourism had helped to increase the source of revenue which in turn had supported environmental conservation activities. In many areas of the world, floral and faunal diversity had increased significantly by the initiation of ecotourism programs. Dependent people on natural resources, park beneficiaries and park conservators are directly supplemented by the earning received from the ecotourism activities. It has led to disappearance of respect, culture and traditions in some cases while it had also encouraged showing their costumes, songs, dances and other social features in other cases. Development of the tourist industry often has negative effects on wildlife and local communities, and so for these values which are most valuable in attracting tourist to a particular place. Low tourist culture of travelling persons can result in a situation in which tourism may threaten the foundations of its existence. The responsible tourism and ecotourism seems to be an answer to this problem by focusing on fostering the sense of responsibility of a traveler towards the visited place. The purpose of this article is to present the concept of ecotourism in theory, and present the results of authors’ survey on the awareness of ecotourism in Poland. The methodology of the research includes review of the relevant literature allowing to present the relationship between sustainable tourism and ecotourism, and to discuss the principles of ecotourism. The awareness of Polish citizens in that sphere was analyzed through the questionnaire survey conducted in 2016. The sampling method used in the survey was a purposeful selection. It becomes a necessity to strive for responsible and sustainable development of the tourism industry and the tourists – to ensure such a development so that we can satisfy a need to travel without picking up future generation such possibility. To achieve this, some actions are needed to preserve natural resources and support local communities – both their economy and culture. Creation of another protected areas and their networks are of far more excitement, conflicts and criticism than innovation and satisfaction resulting from owning nature peculiarities of European importance. Surveys of tourists – although they were not extensive – brought together a fresh look at how to stimulate the sustainable development of tourism by proper eco-politics.

Abstract:
Ecotourism is an important sector of tourism. The present article introduces a classification of its material and non-material objects. They are natural, anthropogenic, and fossil-anthropogenic monuments, which serve as information transmitters, and thereby play a significant role for local history. Objects of ecotourism are unique, attractive, and aesthetically appealing sights and samples of cultural heritage that stimulate ecotourism and the sustainable development of the region. The paradigm of ecotourism is modern, promising, profitable, and environmentally friendly. It presupposes a thorough in-depth study of its objects, as well as their development and classification. Azerbaijan boasts a considerable variety of physical and geographical conditions. This territory possesses both natural resources and the cultural heritage. Therefore, the country demonstrates a huge long-term potential for ecotourism.

Abstract:
Introduction. Tourism is related to the mechanisms of nature management. On the other hand, the negative im-pact of tourism on the environment has been proven. Therefore, the object of the study is ecotourism in terms of the concept of sustainable and responsible nature management. The purpose of the article is to provide a scientific and theoretical substantiation for the development prospects of ecological tourism in Ukraine based on Asian experience. Ecotourism is a major sector of the national economy for many Asian countries. At the same time, the population of these countries is responsible for the preparation of the “green” tourists reception, which is connected with the ecological features of the natural territories. Research methodology. Features of ecotourism development in China and Vietnam are examined using statis-tical, graphical and analytical methods. The research revealed priority directions for the development of ecotourism, which, first of all, need to be implemented in Ukraine: forming an understanding of the need to develop ecotourism in the country’s population; domestic tourism industry restructuring; improving the legal framework and policy for the ecotourism development; development of human resources in this field; the need for investment; creation of favorable environment for ecotourism development. Conclusions. According to the authors, it was in China and Vietnam that they found the best mechanism for regulating the development of ecotourism that Ukraine could adopt. It is noted that recreational, historical, cultural and natural potential is almost not realized due to a number of constraints in our country. The scientific novelty of the arti-cle is to compare the experience of organizing ecotourism in selected countries of Asia and Ukraine and to develop on this basis ways to overcome the crisis of the domestic tourism industry. The study of application directions of Asian experience state regulation of ecological tourism development in Ukraine is considered in the future. Abstract:
Protected Areas (PAs) are critical instruments in preserving biodiversity and, because of their high-quality environmental conditions, they have always been attractive for ecotourism, the natural-based element of holiday activities that minimizes the “antagonistic” impacts of tourism on the environment. However, many PAs lack a specific management plan or do not include the future effects of tourism activities on the local human population. In this study, we propose a methodology for the projection of ecotourism impacts in the short-,mid-, and long-term scenarios in PAs. Based on the scenarios proposed by the panel of experts through the cause‒effect method, local communities described the core problems in a PA and proposed the solutions to develop ecotourism. We used 44 legislative, natural, and expert opinion attributes to prioritize future sustained activities under environmental policies. Our results suggest a background and show the best performance and efficacy of ecotourism activities. In addition, these methods aim to solve challenges faced by the local communities, encouraging the generation of scientific knowledge and conservation and natural resources management associated with biodiversity.

The study aims to identify the potential of natural resources as an object and attraction of ecotourism in Liliboy Village, West Leihitu District and to know community perceptions about the potential of ecotourism. The research method used is a survey method by direct observation to the location of attractions and interviews using questionnaires to the community. Data were analyzed using an analysis of the assessment of ecotourism potential carried out by the assessment of natural tourist objects and attractions (ADO), 2000. The five main components of the assessment are attractiveness, accessibility, socio-economic environmental conditions, accommodation and infrastructure and supporting facilities. The results of the study showed that the ecotourism potential in the village of Liliboy was very diverse including the ship's rock beach, waisamal beach and Hatuasa “rafting” river tourism. This tourism potential attracts a number of tourists with various tourist attractions. Community perception shows that 90.0% of respondents agreed to develop ecotourism activities. The community is willing to participate in the development of the tourism object, they argue that if the State of Liliboy becomes a tourist country then they will get job opportunities and business opportunities through various activities such as selling at tourist sites and also becoming a tour guide. The results of the analysis using object assessment and tourist attraction analysis using the ADO guidelines show that the potential attraction of ecotourism objects in Liliboy village is categorized as "Good", with a score of 2320. This shows that the potential of ecotourism in Liliboy village is good for tourism development.

Abstract:
Within the concept of sustainable development, ecotourism has emerged as a special form of tourism aimed at preserving and protecting natural and cultural resources, but also at contributing to the well?being of the local community. Although today the importance of ecotourism is recognized worldwide, there are countries that, despite their natural wealth and potential, have failed to popularize ecotourism. Considering that Serbia is one of them, the main goal of this research was to reveal ecotourism constraints and reasons which prevent domestic tourists from visiting eco?destination. In addition, the study aimed to determine how well the respondents are informed and familiar with the concept of ecotourism. To achieve that, the survey was conducted among 379 participants, residents of Serbia in September 2019. The constraining scale has been created, and by applying exploratory factor analysis, four factors have been singled out (Fears, Lack of resources, Lack of information, and Disadvantages of the tourism product). The findings showed that the biggest constraint preventing domestic tourists from visiting eco?destinations is inadequate waste disposal at such sites. It has also been found that the respondents are highly constrained by the lack of information, time, and money. The results also reveal the degree to which other factors contribute to non?visits to eco destinations, but also which of them do not have a key impact on tourists' decision to avoid such locations. The paper additionally discusses the potential impact of a lack of ecotourism knowledge on the respondents' answers regarding ecotourism constraints in Serbia.

Abstract:
Ecotourism is one of the fastest-growing sectors of tourism. It is considered to be an alternative to mass tourism. The negative impacts, such as loss of biodiversity and loss of natural resources is confronted with the help of ecotourism. For the past years, stakeholders are considered to be vital for ecotourism implementation. Successful implementation of the ecotourism is not possible without the understanding, involvement and management of the stakeholders. Stakeholder management is vital for the successful ecotourism implementation in the destination, but it is not as simple as it sounds. Even though many types of research have been made on the issue of achieving ecotourism sustainability in tourism destination but there is still a lack of a robust and proper model that can assist in the management of stakeholders which can help to unify stakeholders to achieve sustainable ecotourism in the destination. Therefore, the aim of this study is to explore the importance of identifying stakeholder management significance that can enhance stakeholder interests to unify them towards achieving sustainable ecotourism in the destination. Content analysis was done of the articles finalized for this study, and it was concluded that in order to manage stakeholders, their engagement has to be well planned by understanding their interests and level of influence. The management of the stakeholders varies accordingly to the destination due to which it has to be carefully planned so that sustainable ecotourism can be implemented in the destination. Ecotourism has a high potential impact on remote communities, by improving economic opportunity and natural resources conservation, and is increasingly accepted as an alternative livelihood for rural people. This study examines ecotourism development from the perspective of participation and economic impact for the Bousra people in Cambodia. A total of 237 households were selected as the sample size. Data collection was carried out with face-to-face interviews and analyzed using logistic regression and ordinary least square methods. Results revealed that local households depend mostly on agriculture (i.e., crop plantation and farming) and utilize ecotourism as a secondary source of income. Most households acknowledged ecotourism had a positive impact on environmental, social, and economic perspectives, while some signaled negative backlash due to depleted natural resources and impact on local culture. Household participation in ecotourism was not significantly affected from assistance issued by government or non-governmental organizations. However, causal relationships were found based on household demographic factors, attitude to environmental conservation, and village life. It was shown that the percentage of people involvement in ecotourism is high, but their income percentage is low due to education, skill, and capacity to expand. As a low-impact alternative to standard commercial tourism, community-based ecotourism has potential in becoming a transformative form of economics for local communities.

Abstract:
Island ecosystems have very specific physical, economic and socio-cultural characteristics, which are shared by most of these ecosystems regardless of their geographical area. These characteristics include well defined geographical boundaries that lead to a greater degree of isolation, lack of economically exploitable resources, great external dependence for consumption, cultural and natural heritage with a high uniqueness level and a high concentration of endemic plant and animal species. All of them are responsible for the high development dependence level linked to the tourism activity of these ecosystems. Thus, island ecosystems are currently an important international tourism destination, where a great diversity of very attractive natural and cultural resources and of great heritage value are concentrated. This fact allows for the development of tourism activities of great heterogeneity among countries or regions of the world that host these island ecosystems. The aim of this research was to identify and analyze, through a bibliometric and bibliographic analysis, the scientific production indexed in the international Scopus database, which addresses the subject of use of cultural and natural resources by tourism in island ecosystems. This scientific mapping allows us to observe the evolution of scientific production in this field of study. The results show that this is a new subject (a large number of transient authors), predominantly affiliated with the United States and Spain. The most followed research lines to date are destination management followed very far by responsible environmental behavior and the impacts of sustainable development. However, the keywords with the highest co-occurrence show that the hot topics are tourism exploitation in the ecotourism field and sustainable tourism development. This research is considered the first bibliometric study carried out which is related to this thematic approach, providing a clear in-depth analysis for researchers and thereby facilitating the approach of future research work.

The article reveals the essence and characteristics of ecotourism, identifies its problems and determines the directions and objectives of its development, provides comparative indicators of the number of protected areas in different countries of the world and the income that countries receive from tourism in specially protected natural areas. The main problems and aspects of its development in the context of recreational geography and tourism are highlighted, such as the lack of a common national concept for the development of rural tourism or the lack of a clearly formulated state policy. There are no standards and rules applicable to rural tourism, nor qualified personnel, knowledge and experience in the service of foreign and domestic tourists. There are no normative legal acts in the field of ecological tourism, which is aggravated by the reluctance and inability to effectively use private recreational resources. In this study was done key findings. In this article the author raises questions related to the current state of ecotourism and prospects of its development. Development and construction of regional economy based on ecotourism is one of the efforts to develop the region through the tourism sector, which not only presents natural tourist charm that still natural but also contributes to environmental conservation. Malaganti is one of the hamlets located in Sukaharja Village, Sariwangi District, Tasikmalaya Regency, which has the potential to be developed into an ecotourism area. Considering the location of Malaganti is located in a hilly area and has a spring, so this location is suitable to be used as a "Village of Biology and Conservation". The problems that arise for the management of ecotourism in this area include the limited availability of qualified human resources in managing the area and the lack of instruments to analyze the potential of the region to be used as ecotourism. The approach used in the implementation of this activity is participatory rural appraisal (PRA), using methods of training, brainstorming, and demonstration. The results obtained from the community service activities are that local communities can analyze their territory for developing ecotourism through developed instruments. Tanjung Karang in Donggala Regency has the potential to be developed using the concept of marine ecotourism. However, the management system tends to be contradictory with the principles of marine ecotourism. The aim of this research is to understand the supporting factors and challenges in implementing marine ecotourism in Tanjung Karang, as well as studying the carrying capacity and human resources. A qualitative research method was used through interviews and participant observation. The research shows that natural potential and traditional socio-cultural activities conducted by the community are both essential in supporting Tanjung Karang as a channel of marine ecotourism. The three management systems supported by the community, government and private sector are capable of making a difference in relation to marine ecotourism implementation. In building tourism facilities, people tend to ignore the environmental preservation aspect. In addition, the private sector, as one of the tourism developers, also needs to ensure the management of Tanjung Karang that they will provide opportunities for the local community to enjoy nature and the culture offered. This tourism should not be exclusively for international tourists. Although Tanjung Karang has been used as a tourist attraction before, marine ecotourism has not been prioritised as the development framework by the stakeholders. Efforts have been undertaken to support the implementation of marine ecotourism and the stakeholder needs to understand the supporting factors and challenges involved, as well as the carrying capacity, in order to develop Tanjung Karang's marine ecotourism.

Abstract:
It is an unvarnished fact that Ecotourism is a niche segment in God's own Country, which is ardently subscribed by tourists from across the globe. Kerala boasts of rich, diverse and potent natural resources ideally suited for ecotourism promotion. The positive attributes of ecotourism was realized by destination planners and designers of the state, especially its remarkable potential to foster sensitivity towards the environment. The accentuation of eco tourism in Kerala is credited with numerous beneficial impacts for tourists, host communities and environments including conservation, promotion of positive environmental ethics, sustainable development opportunities, environmental education(which is the central characteristic of eco tourism,) and revenue to the government that helps to implementmanagement protection systems. Kerala has pioneered novel concepts and practices in the realm of tourism and in the process, this renowned tourist destination was showered with accreditations from numerous global institutions and agencies. It obviously mattered a lot when the state drafted an ecotourism policy, clearly stream lining the action plan. Then mala an idyllic tourist spot situated in southern Kerala is recognized as the first planned ecotourism destination in India. It also bagged several international awards including the coveted PATA award for the best eco tourism project. Similar projects were incepted and EIA's were conducted across the eco tourism spots as an off shoot of the Policy decisions. Yet, the eco tourist destinations in the state experience certain travails that pose constraints in the smooth operation of eco tourism. This paper elucidates on those factors both tangible and intangible that create hurdles in the path of sustainable eco tourism promotion in Kerala. The effort is directed to bring to light the grey areas that fail the eco tourism goals. The nuances of eco tourism planning are studied in this work with reference to the major recognized eco tourism destinations of Kerala and the efficiency of ecotourism projects. A model is also proposed in the study on pragmatic ecotourism management in the Kerala context.

Abstract:
As one of the most wealth-generating industries in the world, tourism has been the center of attention by many governments worldwide. Depending on the purpose of tourism, it has been classified into different types, one of which is ecotourism. Given that ecotourism currently accounts for a small part of the whole, however, it has a rapid growth rate. The present study aims at zoning suitable areas in Ilam, a province in western Iran, for ecotourism development purposes. Accordingly, the digital maps of elevation, slope, land cover/land use, mineral springs, and water resources were prepared, at first. Afterwards, the suitable and unsuitable areas were segregated by Boolean functions. Overlaying the map layers by GIS software, the suitable areas were identified. The obtained results revealed that the top attractions are mainly distributed from the northern and central province to the southeastern parts where climatic condition is favorable, and rich in natural land cover and water resources. Moreover, the southern and western parts were evaluated poor in term of eco-tourist attractions.

Abstract:
The term ecotourism is traditionally referred to travelling to natural areas in locations unaffected or poorly affected by anthropogenic factors and having scientific, cognitive, recreational, cultural value, and carried out by environmentally friendly methods, contributing to and promoting the harmonization of human relations with the environment, ecological education and education that promotes the protection of biological and landscape diversity. One of the essential features of ecotourism is the involvement of the local population in providing tourists with works and services in the service sector. The use of natural areas for tourism is of great social and economic importance for the development of regions with significant recreational potential. The organization of tourism in protected natural territories has features related to their legal regime aimed at the preservation of natural objects for the purpose of protection of which such territories are created and containing restrictions on the use of natural resources and economic activities. The policy development of ecotourism in specially protected natural areas as an objective laid by the State requires to define this concept in compliance with the law, since its content depends on the degree of involvement of specially protected natural objects, complexes and ecosystems in recreational activities. The concept of ecotourism should include an indication of the maximum permissible recreational loads and the conformity of forms of ecotourism with the objectives of specially protected natural areas as defined in the legislation and individual provisions thereon. The list of objects of tourist infrastructure must be approved by the Government of the Russian Federation for federal specially protected natural territories and the highest executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and municipalities for specially protected natural areas at the regional and local levels.

Abstract:
The term CBE is not only an ethic based approach to tourism but to make it sure the community engages actively and enjoys the accruing profits of tourism activities. Following the SFA Framework (Suitability, Feasibility, and Acceptability), this study critically reviewed tourism resources in ecologically sensitive coastal areas of Balochistan for assessing their potential for establishment of CBE. Bio-physical, socio-cultural, and tourism information were collected from coastal communities through a structured questionnaire and the same was analyzed through SWOT analysis, while, coastal scenic information was collected personally through a coastal scenic assessment and analyzed through fuzzy logic analysis. The study confirmed that selected coastal localities are potential CBE destinations. However, infrastructure and communities’ knowledge for developing the desired services/products were below the required standards. Therefore, CBE within the selected localities without any investment in basic infrastructure and capacity building of communities would be detrimental for the natural environment.

Abstract:
The economic injustice and the imbalance of natural resources resulting from tourism exploitation requires other alternatives in its management, such as ecotourism. However, this demand can only be realized if from the beginning, the community has been prepared to be a major player in the ecotourism management. The present study aimed at discussing a model of economic empowerment based on leading ecotourism sectors towards the competency of local community entrepreneurs. This study uses a pre-trial procedure by designing a group pretest-posttest. Samples were drawn from the jewelry, cultivation, culinary and souvenir ecotourism product business groups chosen purposively. The data were collected with project-based assessment and the analyzed comparatively. The new model consists of 5 (five) main components, namely: objectives, targets, materials, procedures, and evaluations. The products consist of: community economic improvement guidelines, ecotourism product development modules (crafts, culinary, aquaculture, and souvenirs), business development and marketing modules, and project production guides. The experiment shows that the ecotourism sector-based economic development model has proven to be effective in the formation of local community entrepreneurship competencies in producing ecotourism products. The implication is that it needs support from the policies makers and the importance of the extension of sustainable economy theory in tourism sector in the Indonesian context.

Abstract:
Mangrove forests as natural ecosystems, have high ecological and economic value. Rapidly growing population, causing the needs of human life is increasing, as a consequence of increased development and settlement. This will create pressure on natural resources, where the utilization has not yet taken into consideration any losses that have ecological impacts. Implementation of ecotourism system in mangrove forest ecosystem is an approach in sustainable utilization of mangrove forest ecosystem. The ecosystem suitability index for mangrove tourism in Village Pasir Mempawah Hilir Mempawah District is classified into very suitable (SS) and conditional (SB) categories for ecotourism development. This shows that the mangrove area in the Village Pasir Mempawah Hilir Mempawah District is suitable to serve as a tourist area. An alternative strategy of ecotourism management of mangrove priority in the coastal area of Pasir Village, Mempawah Hilir, Mempawah District, is to increase the effort of mangrove planting on the beach (replanting) in ecotourism development area. Thus, all areas in the location meet the criteria appropriate for mangrove ecotourism areas based on ecological parameters.

Eco tourism and nature tourism should be clearly distinguished. Natural tourism is all types of tourism that use natural resources in wild or undeveloped natural areas: bird watching, forest trips, safaris, fishing, hunting, photography. It should be noted that ecotourism is distinguished by satisfying the recreational needs of visitors and hosts, for the benefit of the local population and without negative impact on the ecology of the region. “Eco” is obliged to serve for the benefit of nature, its biodiversity and ecology. Consequently, the development of ecotourism contributes to the improvement of the ecological, educational and cultural level of the state society as a whole. The recommendations for effective environment-friendly use of nature-based tourism potential of Samarkand Region of Uzbekistan are presented.
