Abstract:
The software DigitalMicrograph (DM) by Gatan, Inc., is a popular software platform for digital imaging in microscopy. in a service-oriented microscopy laboratory, a large number of images from many different samples are generated each day. It is critical that each printed image is properly labeled with sample identification and a description before printing. with DM, a script language is provided: from this, various analyses can be designed or customized and repetitive tasks can be automated. This paper presents the procedures and DM scripts needed to perform these tasks. Due to the major software architecture change between version 2.5x and version 3.5x, each will be discussed separately.DM Version 2.5.8 (on Macintosh®)A “Data Bar” mechanism is provided in this version of DM. Using the “Edit→Data Bar→Define and Add Data Bar...“ menu command specifies data bar items (e.g., scale bar, microscope operator) to be included in the image. in addition, other annotations (text, line, rectangle, and oval) can be included as part of “Data Bar.” This is done by first selecting the desired annotation on the image and then using the “Edit→Data Bar→use AS Default Data Bar...” menu command. After defining data bar items, executing the menu command adds these data bar items to the image.

Pengetahuan tentang bahasa sangatlah penting karena dalam sebuah percakapan atau pembicaraan memerlukan sebuah bahasa. Sarana untuk mempelajari bahasa yaitu dengan menggunakan kamus. Ada banyak sekali jenis kamus mulai dari kamus berbentuk buku sampai berbentuk aplikasi mobile phone, akan tetapi jika ingin mempelajari bahasa dapat memakai aplikasi kamus Jawa Indonesia berbasis android yang menyediakan layanan untuk menterjemahkan kosakata. Tujuan pembuatan aplikasi kamus yaitu guna membantu pengguna dalam mempermudah pencarian kosakata dalam bahasa Jawa dan Indonesia.Berdasarkan hasil uji, aplikasi Kamus Jawa Indonesia dengan Metode Raita Berbasis Android ini hanya untuk mencari kosakata saja, aplikasi memuat menu tambah data dan edit data untuk menambah dan mengedit data apabila ada kesalahan. Abstract:
Personal branding is an individual effort to obtain the response and perception of public audiences through social media, including Instagram. This study aimed to describe adolescents’ experiences in personal branding through Instagram and the meaning of personal branding. It is qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenological approach. Data were analyzed using thematic phenomenological analysis techniques to understand the themes and patterns of personal branding. Data were collected using interviews and observation methods. Five participants were obtained through purposive sampling technique with criteria: adolescents aged 18-21 years and active Instagram users (with a consistent content theme). Results show that the personal branding process is built through stages that involve determining goals, conceptualizing content, and posting content. It is essential to concept and edit content uniquely and posts consistently at the right time and the right frequency, including the highlight menu setting. Personal branding has significant and strategic meanings for adolescents: as a medium to promote competencies, expand career opportunities, and be a useful person. Essentially, it is recommended for adolescents to do personal branding as an alternative activity that supports self-development and careers using Instagram.

Abstract:
Software that contains defects (errors) can cause harm. Losses caused can affect all stakeholders. Losses can take the form of financial, time, and others. So before the software is implemented it needs to be tested. Testing on an application aims to check whether a program is running properly or not. In testing this software will use Blackbox Testing. Black Box Testing Method consists of several techniques, including Equivalence Partitions, Boundary Value Analysis, Sample Testing, and so on. Among the many testing techniques, in this study the testing technique was chosen using Equivalence Partitions. Equivalence Partitions technique is a test based on data input on each form in the performance data information application system, each menu input will be tested and grouped according to function whether it is valid or invalid. Testing is done on 4 forms that will be filled with data form added jobdesk, form added work targets, form edit work targets, form approve work targets, and employee performance while in the company. The test results show that there are still many shortcomings when validating data to be entered, so that it can cause data stored in the database to be incompatible with the expected data. The results of this test can be used as input to improve the application of performance data for the future.

Abstract:
AbstractCase-based design (CBD) systems aim to solve a design problem by tailoring previously solved design problems to the current problem. Designers' specifications are used for indexing the knowledge base of the CBD system to retrieve an appropriate design case. Menu-based systems fail to capture designers' specifications effectively due to lack of expressiveness, while natural language systems are too immature to satisfy the goal. This paper presents the development of a graphical user interface (GUI) to implement a mechanical design specification language (MDSL) (Stelling, 1994) used to facilitate indexing in case-based mechanical design. The specification language is context-free and hence computable. It represents mechanical design knowledge in a (feature):(attribute) format suitable for indexing. An augmented transition network (ATN) parser is built using the grammar of the specification language. The parser provides syntactic as well as semantic checks. It also has capabilities to expand grammar and to adapt to a specific user domain. A graphical front end to the parser assists and guides the user through the specification language syntax in entering the design specifications. Provisions have been made to expand or edit the language grammar and vocabulary. The ATN parser was implemented in Common Lisp and the graphical user interface was written using the Gold Hill Windows Toolkit. Sample user interactions with the interface and screen dumps of the GUI are included.

Abstract:
Pengembangan Film Pembelajaran IPS ini merupakan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa film yang meceritakan kehidupan sehari-hari sesuai dengan materi film yaitu Kegiatan pokok ekonomi. Film ini mengambil studi kasus di SMP Negeri 2 Sawan dan melibatkan siswa kelas VII sebagai responden. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengimplementasikan hasil rancangan pengembangan film pembelajaran IPS untuk penguasaan kompetensi mendiskripsikan kegiatan pokok ekonomi (2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap Film pembelajaran IPS untuk penguasaan kompetensi mendiskripsikan kegiatan pokok ekonomi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan desain pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Film ini diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan aplikasi Adobe Premiere CS6 dalam proses video editing, Adobe Audition untuk edit audio, Adobe Encore untuk membuat menu DVD dan Adobe Photoshop CS6 untuk pembuatan desain keperluan film.Adapun hasil setelah dilakukan Uji ahli isi didapatkan hasil 88.66 % dari keuda ahli isi. Hasil uji ahli media dari kedua ahli didapatkan hasil 84.66 % dan hasil uji respon 91.59 % sehingga dapat disimpulkan film ini memiliki kriteria sangat positif. Kata Kunci: Film Pembelajaran, Kegiatan Pokok Ekonomi, ADDIEIPS Learning Film Development is a learning media in the form of films that tell everyday life in accordance with film material, namely the main economic activity. The film took a case study at Sawan Middle School 2 and involved VII grade students as respondents. This study aims to (1) implement the results of the design of the development of social studies learning films for mastery of competency in describing the main activities of the economy (2) to find out the students' responses to social studies learning films for mastering the competence of describing the main economic activities. The type of research used in this study is research and development with development design using the ADDIE model. This film is implemented using the Adobe Premiere CS6 application in the process of video editing, Adobe Audition to edit audio, Adobe Encore to create DVD menus and Adobe Photoshop CS6 for making film design needs. The results after the content expert test were 88.66% of all content experts. The results of the media expert test from the two experts were 84.66% and the response test results were 91.59% so it can be concluded that this film has very positive criteria.Keywords: Learning Film, Main Economic Activities, ADDIE

The utility of information technology in this case Computers in the world of education are very important. The use of information technology, in this case, is to utilize the use of word and data processing software applications that are easy and powerful while still making it easier for students and teachers to do material editing. As one of the schools that is concerned in creating a systematic, interesting and friendly learning process, SMP PGRI Astra Insani Bekasi, has a computer practice room that is used to deliver learning material every day. Microsoft Office Word and Excel can be maximized by using the facilities in it. The optimization program for the two Microsoft Office applications aims to explore and explore more about the features that exist in the two Microsoft Office applications, which students may not have been familiar with before. By utilizing and maximizing features on find text, replace text, autocorrect, create and edit tables, introduce MS features. Excel and activate the menus that are in it, so that it helps the teacher's role in maximizing student knowledge of the lessons delivered. Keywords: computer training, MS. Word, MS. Microsoft Office Word dan Excel dapat dimaksimalkan penggunaanya dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas-fasilitas di dalamnya. Program pelatihan pengoptimalan dua aplikasi Microsoft Office ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan mengeksplorasi lebih jauh mengenai fitur-fitur yang ada pada dua aplikasi Microsoft Office tersebut, yang mungkin sebelumnya siswa-siswi belum mengenal fitur-fitur tersebut. Dengan memanfaatkan dan memaksimalkan fitur pada find text, replace text, auto correct, membuat dan menyunting tabel, pengenalan fitur-fitur pada MS. Excel serta mengaktikan menu-menu yang ada didalamnya, sehingga turut membantu peran guru dalam memaksimalkan pengetahuan siswa terhadap pelajaran yang disampaikan. Pengembangan media pembelajaran model tutorial ini bertujuan untuk, 1) merancang media pembelajaran dreamweaver model tutorial pada mata pelajaran mengelola isi halaman web untuk siswa kelas XI program keahlian multimedia di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja, 2) mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran dreamweaver model tutorial pada mata pelajaran mengelola isi halaman web untuk siswa kelas XI program keahlian multimedia di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja, 3) mengetahui respon siswa dan guru, di kelas XI multimedia SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja terhadap pengembangan media pembelajaran dreamweaver model tutorial pada mata pelajaran mengelola isi halaman web.Berdasarkan pemaparan di atas, maka dipandang perlu untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran dreamweaver model tutorial pada mata pelajaran mengelola isi halaman web untuk siswa kelas XI program keahlian multimedia di SMK Negeri 3 Singaraja. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan model waterfall. Perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk pengembangan media ini yaitu Macromedia Flash 8 serta beberapa software pendukung seperti Photoshop untuk membuat dan mengedit gambar, Cool Edit Pro 2 untuk pengolahan suara, dan Adobe Premiere Pro1.5, Camtasia Studio 7 untuk editing video, Adobe Dreamweaver Cs3, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Xampp sebagai software uji dalam media ini.Media pembelajaran dreamweaver model tutorial memiliki fungsi yang berbeda pada setiap menunya. Seperti menu materi yang berisikan materi pelajaran, video tutorial yang memiliki video, sebagai alat bantu ajar dan evaluasi sebagai alat uji kemampuan siswa. Dari uji coba media pembelajaran dreamweaver kepada siswa hasil penelitian menunjukan bawha respon siswa tersebar pada kategori sangat positif 2,77 %, positif 97,23. Sedangkan untuk respon guru tersebar pada kategori sangat positif 100%. Respon siswa dan respon guru, tersebar pada kategori positif.

Abstract:
El índice tobillo-brazo permite detectar riesgo y enfermedad cardiovascular subclínica, diagnosticando enfermedad arterial periférica y calcificación arterial. Los varones hipertensos asintomáticos, con edades entre 45-55 años y baja sospecha de riesgo, podrían ser un importante grupo poblacional para beneficiarse de esta técnica. El objetivo principal del presente estudio ha sido comparar la frecuencia de índice tobillo-brazo patológico (enfermedad arterial periférica subclínica y calcificación arterial) entre varones hipertensos y no hipertensos en esta franja de edad, asintomáticos y con misma sospecha de bajo riesgo. El otro objetivo principal del estudio, dada la importancia de los factores psicosociales en el riesgo hipertensivo y cardiovascular, ha sido evaluar la influencia de los diversos factores del patrón Tipo A (medidos con el Inventario de Actividad de Jenkins – forma C) en la presencia de hipertensión arterial en los varones asintomáticos entre 45 y 55 años de edad. Los varones hipertensos asintomáticos, entre 45-55 años, parecen constituir un grupo primordial para detectar riesgo y enfermedad cardiovascular subclínica mediante el índice tobillo-brazo en sujetos con baja sospecha. El otro hallazgo relevante de este estudio es la evidencia de que, en los varones asintomáticos de mediana edad, la implicación laboral (factor del Tipo A) actúa como factor protector de hipertensión arterial.
The ankle-brachial index allows for the detection of subclinical cardiovascular disease and risk, by diagnosing peripheral arterial disease and arterial calcification. Asymptomatic hypertensive men, between 45-55 years and the suspicion of low risk, could be an important population group to benefit from this technique. The main aim of the study was to compare the frequency of abnormal ankle – brachial index (subclinical peripheral arterial disease and arterial calcification) between asymptomatic hypertensive and non- hypertensive men of the same age and suspicion of low risk. The other main aim of this study, given the importance of psychosocial factors in hypertension and cardiovascular risk, was to evaluate the influence of the various factors of the Type A pattern (measured by the Jenkins Activity Survey - form C) on the presence of hypertension in asymptomatic men aged from 45 to 55 years. The asymptomatic hypertensive men, between 45-55 years, might be considered as an overriding group for detecting subclinical cardiovascular disease and risk with the ankle-brachial index. The other relevant finding of this study is the evidence that, in asymptomatic middle-aged men, job involvement (factor of Type A) acts as a protective factor for hypertension.

Abstract:
During the early 1940s, journalists observed that after years of men controlling women’s fashion, Hollywood had become “a fashion center in which women designers are getting to be a big power.” In a town where “the working girl is queen,” it was women who really knew how to dress working women. Edith Head’s name dominates Hollywood costume design. Though a relatively poor sketch artist who refused to sew in public, Head understood what the average woman wanted to wear and knew better than anyone how to craft her image as the-one-and-only Edith Head. However, she was one of many women who designed Hollywood glamour in the studio era. This chapter juxtaposes Head’s career with that of a younger, fiercely independent designer who would quickly upstage Head as a creative force. In many senses, Dorothy Jeakins’s postwar career ascent indicated the waning of the Hollywood system and the powerful relationship between female designers, stars, and fans.

Abstract:
Interrogating youth’s cultural and symbolic meanings in the wake of the Great War, this chapter explores fictions of loss by Wharton and Cather rooted in depictions of mourning and melancholia, Freud’s constructs of grief. The loss of young soldiers encompassed not only the losses of particular young men, but also implicated the larger, cultural losses of youthful qualities at large, across a generation. In tales that focus on the older men, the losses of the young threaten to become overwhelming, so fully do the aging depend upon the idea of energized young men, who embody the ideals associated with youth. Articulating fears that the social fabric is forever rent by the loss of positive intergenerational bonds, these texts suggest that a healthy, coherent society depends upon cross-generational bonds of the sort severed by the war-time losses of young men, resulting in a society left to bereaved old men.

The well-known Delarivier Manley quietly took over editorship of the partisan Tory Examiner (1710-14) from Jonathan Swift in 1711, becoming the first woman known to write and edit a political periodical in England. While she did so via the male eidolon that Swift had developed, Rachel Carnell’s sensitive reading of her contributions against Manley’s other work, including the New Atlantis, reveals important divergences from the male-established model: the Tory public sphere Manley allowed herself to imagine was not an idealized or even especially inclusive or just one. Though she was free, writing in masculine periodical mode, to relish mocking the rival Whiggish periodical Medley and Arthur Maynwaring, Manley also registered that public discourse between men had strictures inimical to feminine voices and female friendships.

At the restoration of letters, when men discovered the manuscripts of the great Ancients, as some long hidden treasure, the editors of even the most trivial work were exuberant in phrases of panegyric, and superlatives of praise seemed to be almost their only terms. The literature on the latter phase of the Eastern Crisis in the 1830s usually concentrates on the policy of European ‘great men’, how they piloted bureaucratic and military reforms in Istanbul and then brought an end to the crisis by means of their shrewd diplomacy, commitment, or opposition to the Concert of Europe. This chapter places the emphasis elsewhere. With a prosopographical approach to the experience of the Ottoman statesman and diplomat Mustafa Reșid (1800–1858), it documents the decisive role the Ottoman agency played in ending the disconcert among the Powers in the 1830s and enabling the intervention of the Quadruple Alliance in the 1840s. The chapter discloses the unique roles played by the idea of civilization and the quest for security in the Ottoman decision to sign free trade agreements with the European Powers as of 1838, and the declaration of the Gülhane Edict of 1839, which allegedly inaugurated the Tanzimat era.

The Major Rock Edict II of Asoka makes a categorical statement showing that he made arrangements for two kinds of treatments, that is, treatment for humans and for animals in the territories of the yavana king Antiokhia, in the areas of the Cōḻās, the Pāndyas, and the Keralaputras, and beyond these, upto the river, that is, Sri Lanka. A distinctive stage in the history of Āyurveda is discernible in Tamilakam during the medieval period. The source material for understanding this new development is in the form of inscriptions engraved in archaic characters, generally found in temples, mostly situated in rural villages. These were centres of learning meant for medical education. Epigraphic documents of medieval period refer to medical institutions in Thiruvaduthurai. Among the persons to be fed in the maṭha of that place were students of medicine and grammar and as well as those who studied medicine. Śaiva and Vaisnava maṭhas were engaged in imparting education in the medical sciences. Medicines were prepared, stored, and distributed in some villages. The Velan medicine-men as functionaries in the village community of Kerala were practicing physicians with a knowledge of indigenous medicine. Their womenfolk as rural midwives used some instruments and small blades in their profession.
