Full textThe main objective of this research is to determine the level of performance of the comprehensive and expressive vocabulary in students with hearing disabilities aged 4 to 6 years and 11 months old in C.E.B.E. in Santiago de Surco. The type of research is descriptive and comparative. The study sample consisted of 35 students who were evaluated through two methods: the Figure / Expressive Vocabulary Word Test and the Figure / Receptive Vocabulary Word Test, both by Morrison F. Gardner. From the results obtained, it was concluded that students perform better in comprehensive vocabulary than in expressive vocabulary. Consequently, it was evidenced that there are significant differences in the comprehensive and expressive vocabulary of students with hearing disabilities aged 4 to 6 years and 11 months when comparing them by chronological age and hearing age, but there were no differences when they were compared by gender and type of hearing amplification.

In that matter, it brings together evidenced experiences that demonstrate, on one hand, the capabilities developed throughout the student experience; and on the other hand, the achievements made during the preprofessional internship period in the context of a private institution in Surco - Monterrico district. As well as opportunities for improvement, in order to make an exhaustive analysis of the process and result of the achievements and capacities acquired. For the construction of this report, the digital portfolio has been implemented as a fundamental instrument, in which the necessary evidence to support professional sufficiency has been collected. Likewise, the use of diverse devices such as narration and pedagogical couples have made possible a critical and reflexive analysis of pre-professional practice.

Full textIn our country, children represent a large part of the population and during these first years it is very important to observe how thus language acquisition process develops. There are different tests to know and measure linguistic development in these ages, however, these tests have been designed considering cultural and linguistic criteria of the place where they were created. The aim of this study is to psychometrically adapt the Preschool Language Screening-5 Spanish Screening Test (PLS-5 Spanish Screening Test) to identify children who require a deep language assesment so they can have a diagnosis and timely intervention. This investigation is of a quantitative approach, of a descriptive type and with a simple descriptive design. The Preschool Language Screening-5 Spanish Screening Adapted Test was applied to 134 children from 4 years to 5 years 11 months, from educational institutions of public and private management of the district of Santiago de Surco. The test went through an evaluation of judges, after the modification of the items to validate the changes made and the data obtained passed a statistical analysis to determine the reliability of the adapted test. It is concluded that the adapted version fulfills the characteristics of validity and reliability, increasing its effectiveness for the identification of children of 4 and 5 years of the district of Santiago de Surco at risk of having a difficulty in the development of language.

Full textThe Hogar & Salud project managed to identify the need of approximately 120 thousand children who are part of the 11.4% of the population with disabilities in our country, these patients interrupt their therapy plan because of the saturation in the clinics and hospitals of our city or for the discomfort involved in mobilizing a patient of these characteristics. Hogar & Salud, with the objective of improving the quality of life of these children, offers therapies in the Physics, Rehabilitation and Language specialties in the comfort of the home to children from 0 to 12 years of age in the districts of Surco, Miraflores, San Isidro, San Borja and La Molina. Likewise, in order to give value to our patients, the first communication link will be medical traumatologists, orthopedists, among others; who, as strategic partners, will recommend us to their patients. This project with a 5-year horizon will be launched with an investment of 177,883 soles, of which the shareholders will contribute 50% and 50% will be financed with comercial banking, this investment will be recovered in 1 year and 7 months after operations started.

Full textThis research entitled "Evaluation of expressive language in children of an IEPI of the Chaclacayo district by sex and age", is justified to the extent that the results for the theoretical baggage of expressive language in preschool children, in addition to information involved in the development of the express language, as well as describing the differences in the groups evaluated according to sex and age. Therefore, this research is presented as a hypothesis: Are there differences in the development of expressive language in children of a secondary school in the Chaclacayo district, by sex and age? To carry out this study, tests are used that cover all the components of the language within the expressive process: the Test Figure Word Word of Vocabulary Expressive GARDNER Adapted, Test to Evaluate Processes of Phonological Simplification TEPROSIF-R, Pragmatic Protocol and the sample of language Please get the average length of the sentence. The results show that there are no significant differences in language development expressed by sex, only differences were found in terms of conversational skills in the turn-taking category, with women obtaining the highest score. On the other hand, in the development of the expressive language by age, that the children of 5 years had the highest scores. In conclusion, you can verify the general hypothesis that already exists in the development of expressive language in children of an I.E.I.P. of the Chaclacayo district, by sex and age.

El lugar del estudio estuvo conformado por ocho instituciones educativas públicas y privadas del distrito de Miraflores. Los participantes fueron 960 loncheras escolares y ocho quioscos escolares del nivel Primario. Los materiales fueron fichas de inspección de loncheras y quioscos escolares. Se evaluaron las loncheras y quioscos escolares de ocho instituciones educativas del nivel primario participantes del programa “Punto saludable” en Miraflores.

Determina la relación entre la motivación académica que aplica el docente y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes del sexto grado de nivel de primaria del distrito de Santiago de Surco. Para el estudio de la primera variable se aplicó el Cuestionario de Motivación Docente de Patiño y Laura (2008), a 275 alumnos varones y mujeres del sexto grado de primaria a fin de evaluar la percepción que tienen los estudiantes con respecto a la motivación que ejercen sus maestros. Así mismo, se recogieron las notas que obtuvieron los estudiantes al concluir el segundo bimestre escolar. Se encontró que la motivación académica es de nivel superior y el rendimiento académico es del nivel de Logro (A). Solo se halló diferencias significativas en el rendimiento académico según tipo de institución educativa. No se encontraron diferencias significativas según sexo y edad y por ello se realizan correlaciones con la muestra total. No se hallaron correlaciones significativas entre la motivación académica docente y el rendimiento académico de los alumnos del sexto grado de primaria del distrito de Surco.

Full textResearch is a quasi-experimental study, consisting of the application of a program called Aitana, developed by researchers to observe in children the difficulty of translating sensory data, important information of forms, objects and Symbols, being manifested as one of the learning problems of reading. The objective of the research is to establish the effectiveness of the program for the development of reduced motor visual perception in children of 5-year-olds from a public educational institution in the Magdalena district. The information is collected with the DTVP-2 as a pre and post test in the 4 undertests: position in space, figurebackground and especially visual closure and constancy of form. The results in the pre-test difficulties in the 4 capacities of the visual perception reduced motor. At the end of the program is noted with the post test, improvements in the 4 capacities the visual perception reduced motor, although to a lesser extent the capacity position in space.

Full textThe main objective of this empirical research is to analyze the application of PIAs in a virtual modality with three-year-old children from a private educational institution in the district of Miraflores. The importance of this study lies in the current need to modify our educational practices due to the pandemic context we are going through; that is why the pedagogical resources used to apply the PIAs in virtuality are described. This research is qualitative, descriptive and is framed in a case study. From the results, it is shown that, in order to carry out PIAs in a virtual modality, it is necessary to use three very important pedagogical resources. Human resources, such as teachers and parents; physical resources, the home becomes the new space to create PIA experiences; and technological resources, mobile devices and digital platforms are necessary tools to be able to apply this methodology in virtuality. Therefore, this research contributes to the teaching task by showing the experience of children in a section that have been able to acquire competencies and skills in different curricular areas in a cross-cutting manner through PIA experiences applied from virtuality thanks to the pedagogical resources used.

Full textThe aim in this investigation is to analyze if there are differences and similarities in the oral production of flexile morphemes and derivatives according to the age and sex in children among four and five year olds. For the evaluation of the children they have been recorded in a free play time. The results show the existence of significant differences related to the flexile morphemes and derivations according to the age. On the other side, there are not significant differences with the flexile morphemes and derivatives according to the sex in children among 4 and five year olds. After the investigation the morphological profile of children aged 4 and 5 years of a state institution of both sexes were obtained.

This work is the result of the reflection process carried out in the Pre-Professional Practices during a school year in a 5-year-old classroom. To carry out this work, it was used different reflection devices such as, the narration of anecdotes in the field notebook, the pedagogical couples in which another Educational Institution is visited, the use of the Portfolio as a collector of evidence and reflections throughout the implementation of the activities in the year and the degree course and also the pedagogical notebook where the personal information about the students is collected to be able to program the activities so that everyone has the opportunity to learn. Also, the main objective is a review and self-reflection on the twelve teaching skills and performances that are developed in the courses throughout the five-year career at the Faculty of Education. These competences and performances are the training guidelines for teachers of the Pre School career of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, which end up being self-assessed by oneself in order to find the opportunities for improvement and strengths of oneself.

Full textThe educational context in the framework of the health emergency caused by covid 19 has undergone various changes. One of the most important is framed in the process of adaptation to the distance education modality that produces in educational dynamics situations that allow us to visualize the challenges and challenges of education in this context. Therefore, the objective of this study focuses on analyzing the perceptions that teachers have about the challenges and opportunities of distance education with 4-year-old boys and girls in a Public Educational Institution in the district of San Miguel. The research has a qualitative approach. In addition, it is descriptive and focuses on the case study method focused on teachers' perceptions, for which there were three informants: initial level teachers (4 years). The technique for collecting information was the interview and the instrument was a semi-structured interview script. Among the main results of the research, from the teachers' perceptions, it is identified that the main characteristic of the development of distance education is the implementation of technological resources in the educational process. Likewise, teaching digital competencies are highlighted as the main challenge that must be faced. On the other hand, depending on the opportunities, it is considered that these have been partially developed in the interaction with the families and the new learning modalities.

Full textInclusive education is a controversial issue in our country, as there is still discrimination against boys and girls with special educational needs, even though laws have been formulated to support their rights. Given this, this work aims to analyze the perceptions of teachers regarding the inclusion of children with special educational needs in classrooms of cycle II in a public institution in Cercado de Lima. This research is descriptive, the case study and the interview were used as a research technique. It is concluded that the teachers' beliefs are related to their experience and the fact of learning about inclusive education and that, despite not having training in inclusive education, they present a positive attitude towards children with special educational needs. Regarding the factors that favor inclusive education, the training they receive from SAANEE and the support they receive from parents are mentioned. And the factors that make it difficult are the insufficient number of trainings, as well as the scant and repetitive information they provide. Also, initially the attitude of denial or nonacceptance of the parents. And finally, school management makes inclusive education difficult, since there is not a good investment in terms of training, infrastructure and materials.

Full textThe main objective of this study is to analyze the main factor that influence the teacher´s attitude towards the inclusive education process of students with learning disabilities in primary regular classrooms of a public school in the district of Pueblo Libre. This study presents a qualitative and phenomenological approach, in order to study the influence of each factor according to the experiences of teachers, parents and directors. The development of this research is considered relevant, as the issue of inclusive education has become more important in recent decades due to a number of factors, including the increase in students with learning disabilities and new education policies related to educational inclusion. In addition, investigations realized in different countries indicate the frequent failure of teachers to include students with disabilities in learning in regular primary-level classrooms. On the other hand, few sources demonstrate studies in Latin America on educational inclusion of the group of students mentioned. That is why it is considered relevant to investigate around those factors that influence the teaching attitude when a student with a disability is included in learning in a regular classroom. The main results obtained in the research show the direct influence by certain factors in different proportions. It is therefore concluded that the main factors considered most influential are teacher education, resources and working with the families of students with learning disabilities.

Full textThe aim of this research is to analyze the teachers’ perception in relation to storytelling. Storytelling is a tool for developing children’s social skills during their early childhood developmental education. Thorough research was conducted to achieve this. This research was inspired by using a teachers’ experience throughout five years. The teacher gathered ideas on what best suits children during their early childhood development, and how they cope with society. This is argued through theoretical framework, where it states that this social skill should be handed to children in stages. This research is a case study which highlights a teachers’ experience, and thoughts, on the use of storytelling as a device to enhance social skills in the early stages of developmental studies. As a result, teachers have confirmed that children’s social skills are completely developed. This confirms that they have fun and become active in their day to day lives.

Full textAnaliza la influencia de la evaluación de la actividad docente para lograr la calidad del profesorado en el proceso de acreditación internacional del Centro Educativo Privado La Inmaculada Concepción, del Consorcio de Centros Educativos Católicos en el distrito de Surco – Lima, durante el año 2014. La población objeto de estudio está constituida por un total de 478 alumnos de educación secundaria de menores desde el primer año al quinto año de educación secundaria, distribuidos en 16 secciones y una población total de 36 Docentes. Sumando un total de 514 sujetos de investigación. Respecto a la técnica básica de recolección de datos que se utilizó en el estudio es una encuesta, que fue aplicado en estudiantes de educación secundaria, para determinar el nivel de satisfacción frente a la actividad docente, así mismo una autoevaluación docente, ambos instrumentos permitirán recabar información respecto a la influencia de la evaluación de la actividad docente para el logro de la calidad del profesorado en el proceso de acreditación internacional del CEP La Inmaculada Concepción. En el empeño por perfeccionar el sistema educativo y mejorar la calidad del impacto de éste, se ha determinado como elemento importante el desempeño profesional del docente que contribuirá al cambio en el proceso educacional. El éxito de cualquier sistema educativo dependerá en gran medida del nivel de desarrollo profesional alcanzado por los docentes lo que repercutirá en la calidad de los resultados del aprendizaje.

Full textCOVID-19 has generated some uncertainty among teachers due to all the changes it has caused in the educational environment by moving into the virtual mode. Education must change, and play is the only way for children to express themselves and communicate their emotions and feelings, learn and do so in a more experiential and didactic way. Therefore, I assure that play should be part of the teaching and learning of children, giving a more effective formula that combines pleasure with learning without leaving aside the main objective of providing a quality education as a result. The general objective of the investigation is to analyze the games that the teacher uses in the virtual modality with children of cycle II in a public Initial Educational Institution in the district of San Miguel. Together with this are the two specific objectives: to describe the teacher's role in the virtual modality and the incorporation of the game and to describe the games that promote teaching-learning in the children of Initial Education. For this research, the qualitative descriptive method is used, evidencing the results that contribute to the present study. It is worth mentioning that the participation of families and teachers were key in the investigation to reach above the mentioned conclusions, where it is highlighted that the game in the virtual modality allowed a greater approach of the teachers towards the students strengthening not only the teaching-learning but also the link between the two agents.

Full textThis research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application of a training program in metacognitive strategies in increasing the level of reading comprehension in 4th grade students in a district of Lima. The research used the quantitative approach. The design is pre-experimental with pre-test and post-test with a single group, whose sample consisted of 22 students. To evaluate reading comprehension, the Alliende, Condemarín and Milicic Parallel Forms CLP Test (1993) was used. It was administered as a diagnostic test (pre-test) and as a final test (post-test) Degree of mastery of reading by the student. In the research the students' level of reading comprehension increased from a negative Z score -0.66 (which is below average group performance) to a positive Z score of 0.48 (which is above The average), thus confirming that the objective of the intervention to improve reading comprehension of children was achieved. It is recommended to apply the training program in metacognitive strategies in all the institutions of the country, in order to improve the quality of academic and personal life of students.

Full textThe objective of this mixed thesis is to describe the characteristics of oral language in 3-year-old children and its use during social interactions between peers in a public institution in Cercado de Lima. The study of this topic is essential because it is recognized that social interactions are a means to develop oral language in the first years of life. In this stage, a more intense socialization process takes place because children acquire skills to be able to cope in different situations, one of them is the development of oral language and socialization skills. The study is empirical in nature and is developed under the case study method, which allows me to describe in depth the characteristics of the language of the children who participate in this research. For this, instruments have been designed that allow us to collect the necessary information according to the objectives set. These instruments are; the checklist to collect the oral language characteristics of 3-year-old children applied throughout daily activities; the semi-structured observation guide and an additional checklist which was applied during the free play routine. These instruments were applied taking into account the ethical principles that safeguard the integrity of those involved. The results of this research show that it is important to reflect on the development of oral language and how it allows children to function effectively during their peer interactions. In this sense, teachers must play a fundamental role in the development of oral language, providing children with spaces for interaction that allow them to experience various situations spontaneously inside and outside the classroom.

Full textThis research entitled “Impact of vocabulary on predictors of reading in first grade primary school children of the Los Olivos district” aimed to determine the relationship between vocabulary and predictors of reading (naming speed, phonological knowledge and alphabetical knowledge) in first grade elementary students of the Los Olivos district. The research approach is quantitative, applied type and correlational descriptive design. The following instruments were used in the process of measuring the variables: Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (comprehensive vocabulary), Gardner's Expressive and Receptive Figure/Word Test (expressive vocabulary), Test for the Assessment of Phonological Knowledge (phonological knowledge), ALE 1 Initial Assessment Notebook (denomination speed) and LEE - Reading and Writing in Spanish Test (alphabetical knowledge). The results indicate that there is a direct and significant relationship between the comprehensive and expressive vocabulary with each of the predictors of the reading: with phonological knowledge (X2 = 116,456; X2 = 98,628), the naming speed (X2 = 113,422; X2 = 97,695), and alphabetic knowledge (X2 = 84,333; X2 = 62,120), with a significance level of p <0.01. In conclusion, vocabulary has a significant impact on each of the predictors of reading in children of the investigated sample.

Full textThis research thesis is very significant because it involves the actions of the teacher and the development of children, in this case specifically the development of language. Because, the preschool stage is the most developed and the one that provides the necessary foundation for life. Likewise, through language development, boys and girls manage to express their emotions, feelings, concerns and interact with the environment that surrounds them; Therefore, knowing these strategies that the teacher is currently using is very relevant in distance education. Likewise, the research has the general objective of analyzing the teaching strategies that promote the development of language in boys and girls of 2 and 3 years of age in the context of distance education in a Public Initial Educational Institution in Cercado de Lima; in the same way it consists of two specific objectives; on the one hand, to characterize the language development in boys and girls of 2 and 3 years old and, on the other hand, to describe the teaching strategies used to develop language in distance education for early childhood children. In addition, this research has a qualitative approach and information gathering techniques such as interviews and observation are used in order to then proceed to analyze the information using the triangulation technique. Regarding language development, it is appreciated that the teacher understands, respects and provides the opportunity for them to express themselves according to the stage they are in. In relation to strategies for language development in distance education, the teacher uses and applies specific language strategies and pedagogical strategies through virtual resources.

Full textChildren develop their social-emotional skills through experiences and interactions that take place at home and at school. However, from the new context of social isolation, great challenges have arisen. Girls and boys, by being isolated, are prone to affect this development. This is where the teaching role as a mediator of socio-emotional development is of vital importance, therefore, it is important that this accompaniment and socio-emotional support in girls and boys is also provided through distance education. The present research seeks as a general objective: Describe the role of the teacher as a mediator of socio-emotional development through distance education in 3-year-old girls and boys of a Public Educational Institution in the Cercado de Lima district. This is based on two specific objectives, which are: Characterize the socio emotional development in 3-year-old girls and boys and identify the role of the teacher as a mediator in the socio-emotional development of 3-year-old girls and boys in distance education. Likewise, this research is descriptive in scope and the method to be used is the case study. Finally, this research compiled information from the experience of 3 3-year-old classroom teachers in the distance education modality who mentioned the challenges obtained to provide adequate socio-emotional development in this new educational modality, as well as their constructive opinion about the strategy “Aprendo en Casa”.
