Abstract:
Today, the APN master's program for training nurses is at a stage of active development and is an excellent opportunity for career and personal professional development of a nursing specialist. The APN program will help increase the number of quality, evidence-based nursing research conducted by nursing professionals, as well as strengthen professional skills in making individual independent decisions in the care process. This article discusses the role and importance of advanced nurses, who are rapidly developing today, in order to expand the autonomy of nurses, as well as improve the level o

Calls for nursing action to address climate change are resounding throughout the nursing community, yet many nurses feel ill-prepared to engage in climate action. As a collective practice discipline, we argue that nursings’ internalized a rigid view of what nursing is and, through self-disciplining practices, actively police our knowledge and practice to conform within a bounded domain that fails to view global issues, such as climate change, as being within the scope of nursing. Florence Nightingale is the modern founder of nursing and professionalized nursing by creating training programs for aspiring nurses. Nursing standards for education started in the early days of nursing education, beginning in the late 1800s. National accreditation standards shape nursing educational programs and clinical practices; however, state-level boards of nursing establish and monitor practice standards. This study addresses the challenge of preparing undergraduate student nurses to be able to engage profitably in Evidence -based Practice. It focuses on the tension between learning about Evidence-based Practice within the Academy and the competencies and skills required to utilise it in clinical settings. Evidence-based Practice is a dynamic process which has core components and defined steps. Nurse education programmes are required by regulatory bodies to prepare nurses to utilise the best evidence to underpin their practice.
