Bruner, Goodnow, and Austin's (1956) research on concept development is re-examined from a connectionist perspective. A neural network was constructed which associates positive and negative instances of a concept with their corresponding attribute values. Two methods were used to help preserve the ecological validity of the input: 1) closely mapping the input to the actual visual stimuli; and 2) structuring the output layer based on Gagne's (1962, 1985) work on human concept learning. This resulted in the addition of output units referred to as attribute context constraints. These units requir

This study examines Thailand’s educational knowledge system, analyzing its structural characteristics, challenges, and opportunities for development. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research combined survey data from 195 faculty members, in-depth interviews with 30 experts, and analysis of institutional research outputs from 2016-2021. The findings reveal significant patterns in knowledge production, including a 5.2% annual growth in research outputs but with notable imbalances - thesis production dominates at 77.1%, while international publications remain limited at 12.3% of total output.

This study examines the implication of economic and socioeconomic factors on agricultural output in rural communities of Nigeria. The analyses were carried out in two models using descriptive statistics and least square estimation technique. The first model was specified for four major crops; the second model was the extended form on the aggregated output. Evidence from both the first and extended models showed that the socioeconomic factors are important as the economic factors to promote agricultural output in the rural area. In the first model, capital, fertilizer, and chemicals were insign
