The submitted thesis deals with the role and importance ofemergency and emergency system Integrated Rescue System.
The theoretical part describes the history and creation ofthe IRS in the Czech Republic with links to European developments. It documentsthe current laws of the IRS and its individual components. The comparison ismore focused on individual specifics of IRS, their tasks and content of workdescriptions of the various systems and forms of IRS and mutual cooperation.Furthermore, this section deals with the issue of emergency in the context ofbasic and primary articles IRS, which are individual operational centers of theIRS, taking into account the particular OS work of the Czech Parliament inPrague, where I work. Analyzing the information and support needs IRS.
In the end of the theoretical eacut part Ithink about the situation of emergency calls within the IRS, awareness amongcitizens, streamlining its potential and possible options for the improvementof services to citizens.
Carrying out research into practical methodology for transferringpart of the empirical survey on the main objective of the work - to determine,assess and generalize public awareness of emergency calls in the IRS.

The object of this diploma thesis is to make economical evaluation of the investment. This investment is aimed at the area of improving the quality of environment in surroundings of Cementary Plant, a.s. by realisation of by-pass investment into separate dust-exhausting of rotary kiln at the same time. Cementary Plant, a.s. has a place in a market of cementary products especially with dry coat-plasters and mortary mixtures. Environment requirements are extremely strict and their following is highly costly because of the established emission limits. In this diploma thesis I am going to attend an analysis of elaborated investment project, its evaluation and defining realisation benefits.

The thesis is focused on evaluation of economic efficiency of two biogas plant stations of agricultural cooperative Mořina. Theoretical basis are divided into two parts. The first is about basic terms of biogas plant station like biomass, biogas and technology of production processes. The second part includes main thoughts of investment like what becomes before its implementation, cash flow planning and evaluation of economic efficiency based on static and dynamic methods. The practical part is focused on basic characteristics of the agricultural cooperative and its company activities where belongs operating of biogas plant stations and that is the main part of own work. This part includes information about financing methods, technology of production processes, statistic data about electrical and thermal energy, service and its financial requirements. The last part of own work includes cash flow preparing and planning of observed biogas plant stations and evaluation of its economic efficiency. The cash flow planning is based on estimated trends. There are suggestions and recommendations to improve operations based on the results and discussion in the end of the practical part. The conclusion includes the result of the thesis and general discussion about biogas plant stations.

This thesis is divided into two parts. The first, or if the theoretical part deals with lighting term investments and investment decisions. It is classified in the individual investment in terms of finance and management, and there are defined basic investment phase of the pre-investment phase to the phase of completion and disposal. They are also in the analytical part, outlined the basic sources of investment financing and the methods by which the individual investments evaluated. It defines both the criteria and factors that decide on the implementation of the selected investments. The second part, a practical part focuses already on one particular company, the aim of this section is to compare the knowledge of theoretical and confirm or refute the decision about the effectiveness of selected investments directly for the company. It is an analysis of the impact of investments in the capital of the Company as well as its future benefits. In case of refusal, it is necessary to offer another form of corporate capital utilization.

This master’s thesis tries to show the differences between usual obsolete indoor wiring and clas-sic indoor wiring used these days and also between this „classic“ indoor wiring and „intelligent wiring“. There is insisted on selection and optimalization of the adequate system for a concrete building and there is made a question of specifications of the user or the customer, his preferen-ces (financial, space, family etc.), disadvantages and advantages of the current system. Whereas it’s impossible to satisfy all the users in these problems by reason of diversity of the buildings (it can be a lot of variants of family houses or small apartments), the systems in this thesis are ap-plied only on the most frequent types of houses. Quite lot of firms deal in this country with indo-or wiring, the most known are ABB, ELKO EP and Moeller. Each of these firms offers different alternatives of systems. From the simplest, basic alternative, to most sophisticated „intelligent“ systems, which can care about almost everything, what is common with electrical energy. These different systems, their review, advantages and disadvantages are also presented in this work. Preliminary there is analysed the whole issue from the historical view and there is briefly explai-ned, what the system wiring is. In the next chapter there is a complex description of the actual state of known firms and systems on the present-day market in our country and in the world. The-re is also summarised the basic structure and the overall comparison of the most frequently used bus systems. In the next two chapters there are presented the main objectives of this work and the methods and procedures, how to achieve these objectives. The central part of this work is the next to last chapter, in which there are presented the different model variants of the project, applied to the real residential building - middle-sized family house. That is realized on the basis of the spe-cified requirements on the designed system. Before that there was performed the complex design of the situation scheme of all usual electrical appliances and lighting system in the house. In the end the whole work is in summary analysed, mainly in term of costs of each variant of the pro-ject. By virtue of this can the reader make a better view about the whole financial problem of the system wiring, that means, how much he has to invest in his concrete wiring. In the end of the work there is attached the detailed documentation to all alternatives of the project, such as dra-wings (complex horizontal plans) and costs budget of all used items and the wiring material.

Objective of master’s thesis theoretical part is especially to illustrate influence of operation conditions, such as solar radiation, temperature or pollution of photovoltaic generator active area, on load and power characteristics of photovoltaic generator, or more precisely on photovoltaic conversion efficiency. Possible variants of increasing effectivity of using photovoltaic generator are explored, such as solar radiation concentration, photovoltaic generator active area cooling or aplication of optimalization circuit. Pivotal part of master‘s thesis is focused on experimental device practical realisation, concretely type MSQ36-10 photovoltaic generator with oriented concentrators of solar radiation. Practical realisation includes design of master‘s thesis experimental part construction with subsequent design of photovoltaic generator motion cycle necessary for adequate simulation of configuration variants solved using single testing photovoltaic generator. Description of own experimental device construction with list of measuring places used in task takes up. It is used automatic monitoring system working as independent measurement task for required values measuring and consecutive data collecting. It is done in two phases. First phase is measurement of all required values, in second phase measurement with attached optimalization circuit is made. Optimalization circuit sets best working point of photovoltaic generator according to actual working conditions. Master‘s thesis intention is experimental verification of solar radiation concentrators application convenience, orientation of photovoltaic generator or its mutual combination, namely using type MSQ36-10 photovoltaic generator. Objective is evaluation of reached energetic gain for all experimental device layouts in variable operating conditions.

This diploma thesis focuses on drug approval efficiency. It is obvious that the drug approval process is lengthy and expensive. The question that arises is whether the length of the drug approval process, as well as associated costs, leads to better safety. The first part briefly summarizes the history of the drug regulation and the drug legislative in the Czech Republic. Also focuses on the theory of economic regulation and the theory of bureaucracy. The second part deals with the drug approval process for new drugs, describes preclinical and clinical testing in relation to the analysis of Sam Peltzman. The third part compares drug approval process in different markets. The last part summarizes off-label prescribing, especially in pediatric.

The following text is devoted to wind power stations. It shows basic distribution of wind engine according to the principle of their function and suitability of their use for power generation. It shows the parameters that must satisfy the suitable sites for building wind power stations and it shows wind maps of the Czech Republic. There are described some of the most frequently installed machines in the Czech Republic. Next chapters describe the economics running part of wind power stations; analyze the basic cost-sharing, mention methods of tax depreciation of tangible assets, the redemption value of electrical energy from renewable sources. There are chosen some of the most used methods for assessment the economic efficiency of wind power stations. There are common methods of static and dynamic in terms of time value of money, the possibilities and limitations of their use. This information is a basis for designing and implementing a program to calculate the economic efficiency of wind power station. The goal is to create a computer program based on your input values and calculation methods to calculate the economic indicators and economic effectiveness of project wind power station in terms of total investment coasts and on equity capital projects. Based on evaluation of data it will be ready to determine whether the investment in to the construction of wind power station can provide the required funding.

Na začátku práce jsou stručně vymezeny základní pojmy a ukazatele týkající se problematiky rozvojové pomoci. Druhá kapitola pojednává o postavení rozvojových zemí ve světové ekonomice. Třetí kapitola se orientuje na poskytovatele rozvojové pomoci, včetně zhodnocení jejich činnosti na poli rozvojové spolupráce. Čtvrtá kapitola zkoumá překážky rozvoje chudých zemí. Posuzuje dopady rozvojové pomoci na jejich politickou a ekonomickou situaci. V závěru práce jsou nastíněna doporučení nezbytná pro dosažení vyšší efektivnosti poskytování rozvojové pomoci.

Práce se zaměřuje především na daňovou problematiku a nový ?fenomén? v této oblasti ? rovnou daň. V úvodních dvou kapitolách jsou zhodnoceny myšlenkové proudy týkající se daňové teorie a teorie daňové efektivnosti. V další kapitole je pak analyzována současná česká daňová soustava, a to jak z hlediska přímých a nepřímých daní, tak z hlediska sociálního pojištění. Zároveň je zde provedena mezinárodní komparace. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou zhodnoceny a analyzovány dopady zavedení rovné daně v současných členských zemích EU (tj. v postkomunistických zemích střední a východní Evropy). Jsou zde především posuzovány vlivy rovné daně na příjmy veřejných rozpočtů, dále pak na investiční a pracovní aktivitu a je zde také provedena komparace temp hospodářského růstu v zemích s rovnou daní a bez ní. V poslední kapitole je pak naznačen možný dopad rovné daně v podmínkách české ekonomiky, a to opět především z hlediska efektů na příjmy veřejných rozpočtů.

Construction of low-energy residential buildings (i.e. houses with low energy demand) in the Czech Republic is not as common as in other countries in the region. This thesis examines the reasons for such development and whether or which obstacles potential buyers face. The analysis of the economic choice between "regular" house and a low-energy building will be primarily based on comparison of basic parameters of both types of constructions. Data for this research will be taken from commercial developers. Quality analysis in the form of detailed interviews with developers, architects and potential buyers will follow. The last section of this thesis will deal with the approach of Czech media towards low-energy development. Presentation of this issue to the public will be examined by the frequency and content of reports.

The thesis deals with efficiency of inpatient facilities in the Czech Republic in the period 2008 to 2013. The first chapter describes the importance of inpatient facilities in the health care system and methods of evaluation of efficiency with focus on the method of DEA. Additionally it defines the necessary concepts for other parts of the work. The content of the following chapter is the analysis of the development of inpatient fund according to selected criteria. In the last chapter are first analyzed the determinants which may influence the efficiency of the hospital and the possibilities of their monitoring in the Czech Republic. This is followed by a key part of the thesis - analysis of technical and cost efficiency of hospitals, on the basis of which conclusions and recommendations are drawn into practice.

Vychází z konceptů posuzování efektivnosti informačních systémů, které adaptuje na podmínky internetových prezentací. Definuje model pro posuzování efektivnosti internetových prezentací. Tento model dokáže integrovat všechny v současnosti používané metody pro hodnocení efektivnosti internetových prezentací a dokáže tak určit jejich roli při zvyšování efektivnosti. Ve druhé části je vysvětlena aplikace jedné z metod - analýzy návštěvnosti - na definovaný model. Práce popisuje teoretické pozadí analýzy návštěvnosti a její techniky použitelné pro hodnocení a zvyšování efektivnosti internetových prezentací.

The subject of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of the investment project at the municipal level, which is building a center of social services in Jeseník. The theoretical part is focused on understanding the processes associated with investment decisions, financial analysis, financing sources and a list of major investment efficiency evaluation methods. The conclusion was devoted to possible risks of investment projects and their effective management.
The practical part applies theoretical knowledge to real investment project. Feasibility study has been processed focusing on market analysis, technological project, human resources, organizational management and financial analysis. Socio-economic effects are expressed using cost-benefit analysis. Evaluation of the effectiveness and sustainability of the project is based on the cash flow of financial analysis, indicators of economic analysis and risk analysis. Based on the results obtained from the research are formulated specific investment recommendations.

The thesis deals with an investment project of reconstruction and operation of bakery Anežka in Palačov. The objective of the project is to evaluate the economic efficiency of the business plan. The thesis focuses on all costs and revenues which flow from the project throughout its working life, and on cash flow in individual years. At the end of the thesis, sensitivity analysis and risk assessment have been assessed, and several variations of the course of the projects, which can occur with regard to the likelihood of risk, have been created. The effects of these risks are compared by using the index indicators of profitability and net present value in the last chapter.

This evaluation is made by the net present value, the index of rentanility and the internal rate of return. This thesis deals with the analysis of private forest ownership and tries to evaluate the effectiveness of the regulation of forest ownership in the Czech Republic. Its aim is to compare the impact of regulation on private forest owners and those owners who own forests in protected areas. The study confirmed the hypothesis that the regulation of forest ownership has a negative impact on individual private owners, while limiting the power of property rights. Forest owners in protected areas face higher costs in forest management and greater supervision in the performance of their activities when compared to other private owners. However, multiplication of the impact of regulation layout rights for forest owners in protected areas does not change the motivation of these owners.

Local air pollution significantly affects human health. Among its major polluters are households which are, however, difficult to regulate. This essay describes the tools of regulation of small pollution resources already implemented in existing legislation and also the instruments under consideration by the Ministry of the Environment, focusing on subsidies. The questionnaire survey monitored the feedback of households towards subsidies for heating change and consequently three hypotheses were specified. The first one assumes that the subsidies will be utilized just by households with lower incomes. The second one assumes that the subsidy will be chozen by elderly people. According to the last hypothesis this choice will be preffered by households with higher heating costs. Any of the hypotheses was not rejected. Subsidies will stimulate households to use more environmentally friendly methods of heating.

Despite the fact that most of developed countries are succesful in reducing emissions of pollutants, the problem in many places is still deteriorating air quality situation. Air pollution is a problem also for the Czech Republic, where some regions are more affected than others. Therefore was in this thesis chosen one of them, the area of northern Bohemia and specifically the area of Teplice. The work focuses on pollution caused by local heating device because this pollution is not currently regulated. The aim of this work is to determine the behavior of households for heating by local heating device through a questionnaire survey. Especially was monitored the reaction for potential regulatory tool- the motivational subsidy. From these data was in more detail examined the dependence between the amount of subsidies and net monthly income using the Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient. Research showed no major statistical context, however, for the first time was held an investigation of multispecies heating in households thanks to which it can be better analyzed the reasons for frequent heating with solid fuels.

The main part of the thesis studies the fiscal effectiveness of the investment incentives by the chosen multinational companies operating in the Czech Republic, especially from the income and expense side of the state budget. In particular, incomes and expenses by the chosen companies during a five year period after first drawing of investment incentives are compared.

The eventual form of the reconstruction of the public lighting in the Černožice village was also proposed. In a response to this proposal possible ways of financing this investment project were subsequently outlined. The secondary aim of this thesis was to create a concise database of implemented projects of the reconstruction in other municipalities and comparison of these results.

In an industrial environment is a prerequisite for the success of the strategic marketing objectives in relation to corporate strategy. In this work there is focus on individual performance systems and group of metrics that are currently applied in engineering in connection to the implemented marketing activities. The main aim of this dissertation is to propose a methodologyfor the selection of marketing metrics that are directly connected to the effectiveness of the company and its marketing activities in the field of engineering in the Czech Republic. To explore the knowledge area there was also used primary and secondary research. The primary research was conducted by structured interviews through case studies and knowledge-based questionnaire investigation, supported by evidence acquired Czech and foreign literary sources. The work includes detailed assessment of the empirical research, including the testing of hypotheses as basis on which is established the methodology for selecting marketing metrics in engineering in the Czech Republic. The benefits could be seen both in theoretical and practical as well as educational fields.

V diplomové práci se věnuji analýze vlivu implementace jednoho ze systémů řízení jakosti na subjekt územní samosprávy. V první kapitole proto uvádím základní definice a pojmy územní samosprávy. Zaměřuji se na kvalitu ve veřejné správě, na její vývoj a důvody, které vedou veřejnou správu k implementaci a využívání metod řízení kvality. Z možných metod kvality jsem si vybrala systém řízení jakosti pomocí sebehodnocení ? Common Assessment Framework (CAF) a hledám přínosy, které subjekt územní samosprávy může díky modelu CAF získat. Následně analyzuji jednotlivé kroky, které úřad při zavedení systému sebehodnocení musí provést. V závěru této práce analyzuji kvalitativní a kvantitativní přínosy modelu CAF pro občany, zaměstnance, společnost a pro konečné hospodaření úřadu.

Thesis deals with currently discussed topic -- the medical use of cannabis -- the missing possibility in the current medicine state in the Czech republic. Despite the fact that cannabis seems to be very effective for medical use, official medical use of cannabis permitted by law can be observed in only few countries. Czech republic doesn't belong among these countries, however there are some tendencies to change current situation. The goal of the thesis is to stand up for medical use of cannabis in the Czech republic and to contribute to above mentioned tendencies to change current situation. To reach the goal thesis introduces theoretical background of medical use of cannabis which explains advantages of its use, but primarily in the empirical part in which compares current (without the use of cannabis) and potential costs (with the use of cannabis) of the treatment of multiple sclerosis comes with the conclusion that with the use of cannabis is possible to save 1 931 923 444,- CZK.

The purpose of this master thesis is to address two main ways of dealing with used textile material in Czech Republic. It compares textile material as a component of a household waste with textile material as a component of a segregated waste. The main question that the thesis and the research done within it addresses is whether the costs, associated with textile waste management coming as the result of administrative tools and legislative action plans mounted to it, are not too high. Based on a calculated model of cost structure of both above mentioned variants their comparison could be performed. Analysis of its results pointed out, that under certain given conditions and assumptions the system of segregated waste collection is, despite its higher costs, effective. The outcome of this master thesis is proposed possible scenarios used to optimize textile waste management in the context of economic science methodology, available data and primary research questions.
