"A recent industry trend survey of CEOs found that only 11% of organizations report having a strong enough bench to fill leadership roles (Rhyne, 2021). As such, effective leadership development is an imperative for any high-performing organization. Rather than focusing time, money, and energy on only a small subset of “high-potential” employees, organizations can realize the full potential of their entire workforce by providing tech-enabled leadership development to leaders at all levels. This paper shares the following insights for Chief Learning Officers interested in leveraging evidence-ba

Policymakers and the public in many developed countries have demanded for greater public school accountability in the hope of improving academic and non-academic school outcomes, as well as decreasing the achievement gaps among subpopulations of students (Heck & Moriyama, 2010). In response, there has been a growing conversation amongst educational practitioners and researchers on how educational leadership might be linked to effective teaching, and student learning and ‘achievement’ outcomes. Educational-effectiveness researchers have attempted to link (directly and/or indirect) existing

The CP criteria for buried piping systems are not consistent in different global CP standards. For instance, the standard of the International Standard Organization (ISO) and the European standard (EN) offer more specific CP criteria with respect to environmental conditions such as soil resistivity, aeration, presence of bacteria, pipe temperature and overprotection. However, they do not have the -850 mV on-potential criterion contained in the NACE Standard SP 0169-2007. Abstract:
This paper estimates effective carbon rates (ECRs) on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from energy use for 18 Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries. We follow a methodology developed by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as this allows us to compare ECR estimates for LAC countries with those for other countries in other regions. We also adapt the OECD methodology to assess the effect of energy subsidies on ECRs. The results obtained indicate that ECRs were low in LAC countries in 2018. On average, LAC countries priced carbon emissions from energy use at 24 e
