L’attività di tesi ha riguardato lo studio del comportamento tribologico di tre ghise sferoidali con diversa matrice, prima e dopo degrado a 500 °C per 240 h; sono state prese in esame una ghisa perlitica (GSP), una perferritica (IDI) e una ausferritica (ADI). Le prove sono state eseguite sia a temperatura ambiente che a 500°C, secondo ASTM-G99, utilizzando un pin on disk in assenza di lubrificazione, sfere di 100Cr6 per le prove a temperatura ambiente e di allumina per le prove a 500 °C. Sono stati poi determinati il valore medio del coefficiente d’attrito (CA) e del volume di usura (VU).
