Cross-efficiency evaluation effectively distinguishes a set of decision-making units (DMUs) via self- and peer-evaluations. For situations of variable returns to scale, the negative cross-efficiencies may occur in this evaluation method. Abstract:
<p>Recently Internet of things (IoT) and its applications are emerging as a momentous trend in industry. Numerous hardware and software providers have been entering the intense market competition in IoT related industries. Correspondingly, the attention on evaluation of IoT industry is growing. However, it is a main theme as how to consider the multiple dimensions and dependencies among the criteria in IoT supply chains simultaneously. By considering internal processes in DMUs as well as their interactions, this study designs the evaluation methods with network data envelopment analysis

Abstract:
Cross-efficiency evaluation approaches and common set of weights (CSW) approaches have long been suggested as two of the more important and effective methods for the ranking of decision making units (DMUs) in data envelopment analysis (DEA). The former emphasizes the flexibility of evaluation and its weights are asymmetric, while the latter focuses on the standardization of evaluation and its weights are symmetrical. As a compromise between these two approaches, this paper proposes a cross-efficiency evaluation method that is based on two types of flexible evaluation criteria balanced on inter

Australia has invested heavily in water efficiency in recent years, mainly due to severe drought, and has implemented some of the largest efficiency programs in the world. Despite this there is little public information on actual savings achieved or the cost effectiveness of programs implemented. This paper draws together the limited publicly available evaluations from Australia, focusing on the residential sector. It describes some of the large-scale residential programs implemented such as home retrofits, showerhead exchanges, washing machine rebates, toilet retrofits and rainwater tank reba

Abstract:
The importance of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from economic, social, and environmental point of views and the crucial role of energy efficiency are widely recognized. However, the development of effective policies and their analysis are still challenging topics, for which research is relatively scarce. The main reasons for this are the high heterogeneity of SMEs, their low energy impact compared with energy-intensive enterprises, the lack of quantitative in-formation on the energy consumption of SMEs, and the low awareness of SMEs on energy topics. The structural paradigm change
