Abstract Exploring the relationship between the number of Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP) in the ambient water and its infecting ability in Exopalaemon carinicauda, we set up 6 EHP-concentration groups of 0, 101, 102, 103, 104, and 105. Subsequently, we compared the differentiation of the number of EHP copies in different tissues, the change in hepatopancreas structure, and the inducible nitric oxide synthase and NO in the haemolymph. Our result showed: the number of EHP copies in each tissue would increase significantly following the increase of EHP concentration in the water. The highest E

Time-resolved luminescence spectra of ZnO epitaxial thin films have been measured by the optical Kerr gate luminescence spectroscopy under resonant excitation of the excitonic state. At moderate excitation density, a luminescence band (P band) which is attributed to an exciton-exciton collision process was observed. With increasing the excitation density, the P band disappears while a new luminescence band (EHP band) due to radiative recombination of electrons with holes in an electron-hole plasma appears. The EHP band has a rise time of ~1 ps, and shifts to lower energy with time and then fin

However, little information is available on its response to EHP infection. We have studied capacitance mode Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy (DLTS) of five 4H-SiC Schottky diode and PiN diode designs. Comparing with previous DLTS studies, we have identified four traps levels, Z1/2, EH1, EH3and EH5. Additionally, a new trap level, EH1, is prominent in blanket Al+and B+high-energy implanted samples but less so in mask-implanted samples. Al+implantation increases EH3(associated with silicon vacancy) and EH5, while B+implantation significantly reduces EH3. The Z1/2peak (associated with carbon vacancy) is reduced to very low levels after B+and Al+implantation.

Intensive shrimp farms sometimes experience cases of death of vaname shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) due to infection with various pathogens and one of these diseases is EHP (Enterocytozoon Hepatopenaei). This disease mostly attacks vaname shrimp in the post-lava phase, EHP can take up nutrients in the digestive tract so that it can inhibit growth, non-uniform size variations and be deadly. EHP can also become a primary infection and open the way for other disease. This research used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments with 5 replications.
