Islamic Microeconomics is an economic study that discusses the behavior of individuals in carrying out their economic transactions with the norms applied with the limitations of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The understanding of the market is a place or condition that brings together demand with the bidder (buyer and seller) for each type of goods, services or resources. While the function is the relationship between variables one with other variables, with the change of a certain variable can be assessed and known in knowing and analyzing other variables. Equilibrium is a balance that occurs in a relatively long period of time and under certain conditions as a result of the intersection of demand and demand. Abstract:
EKODE, an epoxy-keto derivative of linoleic acid, was previously shown to stimulate aldosterone secretion in rat adrenal glomerulosa cells ( 15 ). In the present study, we investigated the effect of exogenous EKODE on cytosolic [Ca2+] increase and aimed to elucidate the mechanism involved in this process. Through the use of the fluorescent Ca2+-sensitive dye Fluo-4, EKODE was shown to rapidly increase intracellular [Ca2+] ([Ca2+]i) along a bell-shaped dose-response relationship with a maximum peak at 5 μM. Experiments performed in the presence or absence of Ca2+ revealed that this increase in [Ca2+]i originated exclusively from intracellular pools. EKODE-induced [Ca2+]i increase was blunted by prior application of angiotensin II, Xestospongin C, and cyclopiazonic acid, indicating that inositol trisphosphate (InsP3)-sensitive Ca2+ stores can be mobilized by EKODE despite the absence of InsP3 production. Accordingly, EKODE response was not sensitive to the phospholipase C inhibitor U-73122. EKODE mobilized a Ca2+ store included in the thapsigargin (TG)-sensitive stores, although the interaction between EKODE and TG appears complex, since EKODE added at the plateau response of TG induced a rapid drop in [Ca2+]i. 9-Oxo-octadecadienoic acid, another oxidized derivative of linoleic acid, also increases [Ca2+]i, with a dose-response curve similar to EKODE. However, arachidonic and linoleic acids at 10 μM failed to increase [Ca2+]i but did reduce the amplitude of the response to EKODE. It is concluded that EKODE mobilizes Ca2+ from an InsP3-sensitive store and that this [Ca2+]i increase is responsible for aldosterone secretion by glomerulosa cells. Similar bell-shaped dose-response curves for aldosterone and [Ca2+]i increases reinforce this hypothesis.

Abstract:
Oxidized derivatives of linoleic acid have the potential to alter steroidogenesis. One such derivative is 12,13-epoxy-9- keto-10-( trans)-octadecenoic acid (EKODE). To evaluate the effect of EKODE on corticosterone production, dispersed rat zona fasciculata/reticularis (subcapsular) cells were incubated for 2 h with EKODE alone or together with rat ACTH (0, 0.2, or 2.0 ng/ml). In the absence of ACTH, EKODE (26 μM) increased corticosterone production from 5.3 ± 2.3 to 14.7 ± 5.0 ng · 106 cells · h−1. The stimulatory effect of ACTH was increased threefold in the presence of EKODE (26.0 μM). Cholesterol transport/ P-450scc activity was assessed by measuring basal and cAMP-stimulated pregnenolone production in the presence of cyanoketone (1.1 μM). EKODE (13.1 and 26.0 μM) significantly increased basal and cAMP-stimulated (0.1 mM) pregnenolone production. In contrast, EKODE decreased the effect of 1.0 mM cAMP. EKODE had no effect on early or late-pathway activity in isolated mitochondria. We conclude that EKODE stimulates corticosterone biosynthesis and amplifies the effect of ACTH. Increased levels of fatty acid metabolites may be involved in the increased glucocorticoid production observed in obese humans.

Permasalahan fluktuatif nilai tukar mata uang menyebabkan tergeraknya para ekonom keuangan konvensional melaksanakan hedging dalam bentuk kontrak-kontrak derivatif untuk menghindari risiko yang diakibatkan dari fluktuasi mata uang. Para ekonom Muslim, dalam menawarkan reformasi hedging mainstream dengan menghilangkan unsur-unsur pelanggaran syari’ah dan memasukkan akad-akad syari’ah ke dalamnya. Namun demikian, apakah unsur-unsur penyebab dilarangnya hedging sudah dieliminasi secara menyeluruh. Tulisan ini mencoba mendiskusikan permasalahan Islamic hedging, untuk dapat menawarkan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian literatur, metode analisis kritik pemikiran dengan menggunakan metode induktif dalam menemukan konsep Islamic hedging secara umum. Kemudian, dijelaskan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan analisis kritik sebagai kritikan terhadap Islamic hedging. Kesimpulan akhir dari tulisan ini adalah Islamic investment funds dan cadangan risiko nilai tukar sebagai alternatif dari Islamic hedging yang ternyata belum sepenuhnya mengeliminasi unsur-unsur gharar, riba dan maysir dan dapat dikatakan bahwa Islamic hedging adalah bentuk spekulasi.

Change is a timeless phenomenon. There are different catalysts for change, a significant catalyst is digitization that affects society, organizations and individuals. An industry where digitization has been discussed a lot is the accounting and audit industry, where the foundation lies in creating, validating and reporting financial information. Current technological developments change the way in which the industry operates, thus managing the financial information. Digitization is an organizational change in the industry and thus also examined how this change affects the professional role. The purpose of the study is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the effects of organizational change that arises from digitization and how specific factors can contribute to a successful change process. In addition, we wanted to identify the working methods of the future and how the professional role in the accounting and audit industry will develop. What has been shown in the study is the positive attitude towards digitization and changing working methods. This can be explained by the adaptability of the individual, the company's success in its implementation of digitization and the age factor in the company. Digitization has resulted in a more flexible way of working which contributes to reduced physical contact. Consulting and analysis are identified as significant competencies as digitalization's development of the industry. Additionally, a seventh success factor, Customer Relationship, is added.

Abstract:

Problem:

Författarna anser att ekonomistudenterna bör få kännedom om vilka krav som kommer att ställas på dem efter avslutade studier. De bör även få kännedom om Bolognaprocessens inverkan på utbildningsstrukturen och om det kommer att förändra arbetsmarknadens krav på ekonomer.

Syfte:

Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att övergripande beskriva Bolognaprocessens inverkan på Högskoleverket, den svenska högskolan och ekonomiutbildningen samt att beskriva arbetsmarknaden och dess krav på ekonomer i Västerås.

Metod:

En kvalitativ fallstudie har genomförts som bygger på sekundärdata samt fyra intervjuer med personer som författarna anser har bra inblick i ekonomiutbildningen och arbetsmarknaden för ekonomer.

Slutsats:

Bolognaprocessens inflytande över Högskoleverket, den svenska högskolan och ekonomiutbildningen verkar inte ha någon större inverkan på arbetsmarknadens krav på ekonomer i Västerås. Arbetsmarknaden i Västerås är ljus för ekonomer idag. I framtiden finns det dock risk för ett överskott på ekonomer. Erfarenhet är det mest kvalificerande hos en arbetssökande ekonom.


Problem:

The authors of this thesis consider that students of economic ought to gain knowledge of which demands the labour market makes on economists after finishing their education. They should also gain knowledge of the change in education due to the process of Bologna and the effect it will have on the labour market demands on economists.

Purpose:

The purpose of this thesis is to describe the process of Bologna and its influence on Högskoleverket, the Swedish university and the economic education. The purpose is also to describe the labour market for economists in Västerås and to examine which demands the labour market makes on economists.

Method:

The thesis is built on a qualitative approach, with secondary information and on interviews made with four persons who the authors consider to have good knowledge of the economic education and the labour market for economists.

Conclusion:

The influence that the process of Bologna has on Högskoleverket, the university and the economic education does not seem to have any essential effect on the labour market demands on economists in Västerås. The labour market in Västerås for economists looks bright today, but in the future there is a chance of a surplus amongst economists. Experience seems to be the most important qualification for an economist applying for work.

Abstract:
Handlingsutrymmet kan vara olika stort mellan olika ekonomer och det finns både interna och externa faktorer som påverkar ekonomens handlingsutrymme. I vilken grad handlingsutrymmet ges beror i stora drag på miljön, organisationen och individen. Familjeföretag innebär ett emotionellt samspel mellan familjemedlemmarna som kan inneha olika positioner i företaget, vilket påverkar både familjemedlemmarnas professionella och familjära förhållande till varandra. Familjeföretag förknippas med en motvilja att rådfråga extern ekonomisk kompetens vid viktiga ekonomiska beslutsfattande trots att externa ekonomer har en benägenhet att minska den finansiella risken genom sin kunskap och erfarenhet. Syftet med studien är att utifrån familjeföretagets ekonom, som inte tillhör familjen, utforska ekonomens upplevda handlingsutrymme i redovisningsarbetet. Syftet är också att belysa vilka mönster som finns gällande det givna handlingsutrymmet, preciserat som likheter och skillnader mellan ekonomerna i familjeföretagen. Dessa syften har lett oss till forskningsfrågan; Hur upplever ekonomen i familjeföretaget sitt handlingsutrymme i redovisningsarbetet och vilka mönster finns i det givna handlingsutrymmet? Genom att använda en abduktiv ansats fungerar teorier så som agentteorin, ekonomens handlingsutrymme, ekonomens roll, familjeföretagande och beslutsfattande som inspirationskälla för att hitta orsaker som indikerar på hur ekonomens handlingsutrymme gällande redovisningsarbetet i familjeföretag påverkas av olika faktorer. För att kunna få en förståelse för detta utfördes en kvalitativ undersökning baserat på semistrukturerade intervjuer. Slutsatsen av studien är att det visar sig att samtliga ekonomer i de aktuella familjeföretagen upplever att deras handlingsutrymme räcker gott och väl för att de ska kunna sköta sina redovisningsuppgifter regelmässigt rätt. Däremot får ekonomen inte särskilt mycket handlingsutrymme vad gäller företagets ekonomiska verksamhetsbeslut, detta för att kontrollen hålls nära familjen vilket lämnar lite utrymme för ekonomen att bidra med sin ekonomiska erfarenhet och kunskap utanför redovisningsarbetet. I vissa fall finns det en kamp mellan familjen och rättesnöret vad gäller ekonomens handlingsutrymme i redovisningsarbetet, där ekonomen väljer att följa företagsnormer så länge denne kan hitta en förklaring till det moraliska dilemmat som ekonomen hamnat i.
The discretion can differ widely among economists and there are both internal and external factors affecting the economists’ discretion. The degree to which discretion is given depends largely on the environment, the organization and the individual. Family business involves an emotional interaction between the family members, who may comprise different positions in the company, which affects both family members' professional- and familial relationships. Family businesses are associated with a reluctance to consult external financial expertise in different key economic decisions even if external economists usually reduce the financial risk through their knowledge and experience. The purpose of the study is from abroad the family business economist, who does not belong to the family, explore what room for maneuver the economist has regarding accounting work in family businesses. It also aims to highlight the patterns that apply the given maneuver, specified the similarities and the differences between the economists in the family businesses. These purposes have led us to the research question; how do economists in family businesses experience their discretion in their accounting work and what patterns exists in the given maneuver? By using an abductive approach, theories such as agent theory, the economist's discretion, the economist's role, family business and decision-making works as a source of inspiration to find causes and trends on how the economist's discretion regarding accounting work in the family business is affected by various factors. In order to gain an understanding of this, a qualitative study was performed based on semi-structured interviews. The conclusion of the study is that it proves that all the economists in the current family firms perceive that their discretion is more than enough to be able to manage their accounting data regularly right. In contrast, the economist has not much room for maneuver in terms of its financial business decisions. In order to hold the control close to the family, they leave small space for the economist to contribute their financial experience and knowledge outside accounting work. In some cases there is a struggle between family and regulations when it comes to the economist's discretion in accounting work. The economist chooses to follow company norms as long as she can find an explanation of the moral dilemma she ends up in.

Ekonomi och prognostisering är en stor utmaning för alla företag och en viktig pusselbit för lönsamheten i byggindustrin. Digitaliseringen har underlättat kontakten mellan entreprenör och projektledning. Med det tryck som digitaliseringen och av andra konkurrerande företag medför är det viktigt att kunna ställa realistiska prognoser med rätta förutsättningar. Detta för att sedan ta vara på utvinna erfarenheter och ha dem i beaktande vid projektering av kommande projekt. Eftersom en väl utförd prognos från varje projekt medför ett underlag till de framtida besluten inom ett företag är det viktigt att hitta och identifiera risker och möjligheter för varje projekt. Bakgrunden för arbetet är behovet att utreda företagets arbetssätt vid prognoshantering. Arbetet utfördes tillsammans med Svevia och mycket av informationen kommer från det företaget. Studien är baserad på intervjuer samt en enkät. De intervjuade personerna hade olika befattningar inom företaget några från företagsledningen och några från produktionen. Brister i dagens arbetssätt synliggjordes och utreddes. Likaså diskuterades frågor kring utbildning, programvaror och resurser. Vid enkäten var respondenterna var anställda på företaget. Resultatet redovisas i form av diagram. Resultaten från enkäten och från intervjuerna analyserades och ledde fram till denna slutsats: brister fanns genom: avsaknad av utbildning, tidsbrist, saknaden av ett enhetligt arbetssätt och kunskapsbrist beträffande programvara. Den viktigaste bristen är saknaden av ett enhetligt arbetssätt, Uppföljning och tillvägagångssätt gällande prognoser borde vara lika för alla anställda.
Economy and forecasting are a big challenge for the corporations and an important piece if the puzzle when it comes to profitability in the construction industry. Digitalization of the workplace within the construction industries has made it easier to communicate between the entrepreneur and project management. A big part of the digitalization and the pressure from other companies makes it very important to be able to make realistic forecasts. Also be able to extract the experience from the forecasts and applying it in the future endeavors of the company. Since a well thought out forecast from every project create a basis in which the future decisions will be grounded in, identifying the risks and possibilities of each project and in how they were resolved to minimize losses will be of much importance. This reports background is the need to investigate a uniform approach to forecast management. This thesis was made in collaboration with Svevia and the bulk of the information was derived from their company. The study is based on interviews conducted with employees and a survey. The respondents held different positions within the company where both members of the management were interviewed and from the production. Shortcomings in current method were made visible and investigated. Likewise issues concerning education, software and resources were discussed. The result of the survey was compiled with diagrams where the employees of the company responded to the different questions. Together with the result of the interviews and the survey the analysis and conclusion was formed. The comprehensive flaws can be attributed to the lack of a uniform practice, where the follow up and approaches are the same for all employees.

Abstract:

Problem:      Vad anser arbetsgivare om vikten av att investera i humankapital genom att anställa välutbildad personal?

Vilka kunskaper har rekryterare om ekonomiutbildningarnas innehåll och examensnivåer?

 

Syfte:            Syftet med denna uppsats är att utreda arbetsgivarnas policy vad gäller investering i humankapital vid anställning, examensnivåns betydelse vid anställning till ekonomitjänster samt rekryterarnas kunskaper om ekonomiutbildningarnas innehåll.

 

Metod:          En kvalitativ studie som bygger på sekundärdata genomfördes med fem personer som rekryterar ekonomer inom olika branscher. Dessa personer ansågs kunna bidra med relevant information för att besvara studiens syfte. Primärdata sammanställdes vilket sedan ledde till analys och studiens slutsats.

 

Slutsats:        Högskoleutbildning är grundkravet för att få ett arbete som ekonom men examensnivån har en mindre betydelse. Personlighet och erfarenhet är viktigare och det som premieras är prestationer och ansvarstagande. Arbetsgivare tycker att det är viktigt att investera i humankapital. Graden av hur insatta rekryterare är i ekonomiutbildningarnas innehåll skiljer sig åt.


Problem:      What do employers think about the importance of investment in human capital by hiring well-educated staff?

Which knowledge do recruiters have about the content of economy education and degree levels?

 

Purpose:       The purpose of this study is to investigate employer’s policy when it comes to investment in human capital when hiring, the importance of degree level when hiring employees to economy jobs and the recruiters’ knowledge about the content of economy education.

 

Method:       A qualitative study, based on secondary data, was carried out with five persons who recruit economists to different industries. These people were believed to be able to contribute to answer the purpose of the study. Primary data were compiled which then lead up to the analysis and the conclusions of the study.

 

Conclusion:  University education is the basic request to get a job as economist but the degree level has a minor significance. Personality and experience are more important and what’s rewarded is performance and responsibility taking. Employers think that it’s important to invest in human capital. The degree of how much the recruiters are informed about the content of economy education varies.
