Abstract:

The water level at Hjälta power station in Faxälven varies depending on the water flow that passes through the power station. The varying water level causes head losses, lesser energy generation and loss of income. The varying water level is caused by a short but narrow and shallow part of the river, known as Klockarforsen. To increase the water flow and decrease the resulting head losses, it is possible to dredge the stream bed in Klockarforsen in order to achieve a greater depth. By using a sonar to map the bathymetry in Klockarforsen, it has been possible to create a model of this part of

Previous research confirms that there is a major decline of pollinators worldwide. Investigations have mainly focused on pollination services in the agricultural landscapes and therefore, there is a lack of knowledge on the effects pollinators may have in urban environment. The purpose of this study is to see how Swedish politicians speak about the concept ecology through the period 1973-1988. I’m using the theory of concepts altering meaning through history made by Koselleck. The result of this study shows that the concept ecology is under change, but I cannot see when by using Kosellecks theory. Många sjöar är idag påverkade av mänsklig aktivitet, bland annat är 1 % av Sveriges sjöar eutrofierade, däribland Ekoln. Ekoln är en stor sjö i Uppsala län söder om Uppsala som länge varit eutrofierad. Fyrisån och Örsundaån är de största inflödena till Ekoln och Sävjaån är ett betydande biflöde till Fyrisån. Kungsängsverket är Uppsalas reningsverk och har sitt utlopp i Fyrisån och som ett led i att minska eutrofieringen byggdes fosforreningen ut 1972.
