The purpose of this study was to evaluate the suitability of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples and fixed fresh (FF) samples for single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq). To this end, we compared single-cell profiles from FFPE and matched FF tissue samples of one invasive carcinoma of no special type carcinoma (invasive ductal carcinoma–IDC) and one invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) to assess consistency in cell type distribution and molecular profiles. The results were validated using immunohistochemistry (IHC), fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), and electron microscopy.

The different instantaneous spin flip probabilities, up to down and down to up, can build up the electron beam polarization state. Applying this to previously measured electron momenta distributions following strong field ionization of N2, we found approximately a 2∶1 ratio of electrons ionized from a downfield atom, relative to upfield. This suggests that the bound state wave function largely adapts adiabatically to the changing laser field, although the nonadiabatic process of ionization enhancement still contributes significantly even in

However, dissimilar welding of Al/steel is a key challenge because of incompatible thermo-physical properties (melting point, thermal conductivity, and coefficient of thermal expans

Abstract:
High temperature steam electrolysis is a promising technology for efficiently sustainable large-scale hydrogen production. Solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs) are able to utilize high temperature heat and electric power from advanced high-temperature nuclear reactors or renewable sources to generate carbon-free hydrogen at large scale. However, long term durability of SOECs needs to be improved significantly before commercialization of this technology. A degradation rate of 1%/khr or lower is proposed as a threshold value for commercialization of this technology. Solid oxide electrolysis st

Abstract:
In November 2022, Wejo Data Services Inc. provided Purdue with a national data set comprised of approximately 470 billion connected vehicle records covering all 50 states for the month of August 2022. The goal of the evaluation data set was to create a series of summary graphics to evaluate the scalability of work zone analytics graphics and electric/hybrid vehicle counts at a national level. This report illustrates several performance measures developed using this dataset for all interstate routes, both state wise and cross-country. State wise graphics are organized with 50 subdirectories con

Abstract:
In recent years, several pipe mills have produced heavy-wall, large diameter pipe from plates of microalloyed steels that were controlled-rolled to develop properties to meet the API 5LX Grade 70 or Grade 80 requirements and that were electric resistance welded (ERW) using advanced techniques. The use of advanced electric seam-welding practices on the steels produced using advanced steel making and processing methods offers the possibility of obtaining high strength line pipe at a lower cost than pipes produced from similar steels but with double submerged arc seam welds. The present study was
