Abstract:

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the need to modernize the information and communication support of medical institutions of Ukraine to improve the quality of medical care and medical services. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the fundamental provisions of modern economic theory, scientific works of leading foreign and domestic scientists, international and domestic regulations on health care. General scientific and special research methods are used to achieve this goal, in particular: the method of system analysis – to study the information and communication support of medical institutions as a system; the method of structural analysis – to study the structure of the software of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks”; the method of comparison – to compare different methods of information processing in the studied medical information system. Findings. The need for modernization of information and communication support of medical institutions is determined. Prospects for the introduction of medical information systems in health care facilities, such as the “Doctor Elex” information system, are substantiated. Examples of introduction of the medical information system "Doctor Eleks" in foreign and domestic medical institutions are considered. The advantages of the researched medical information system “Doctor Eleks” for: management staff, medical staff and registry staff are formed. The software of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks” is analysed in detail in the context of the main modules: “registry”, “doctor”, “laboratory”, “administration”, “templates”. It is proved that the introduction of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks” in the activities of medical institutions will significantly increase the level of coordination of its staff and will positively affect the quality of medical care and medical services. Originality. The mechanism of introduction of modern information technologies in activity of medical institutions as the factor of increase of quality of medical service on the basis of use of the information system “Doctor Eleks”, which is developed for automation of work of medical institutions is offered. Practical value. The detailed analysis of the advantages of the medical information system “Doctor Eleks” can be useful for directors of domestic medical institutions in choosing the priorities of modernization of their information and communication support. Abstract:

Morphotectonic analysis using geomorphic indices has been developed as a basic reconnaissance tool in order to identify areas experiencing rapid tectonic deformation or estimate relative variations of tectonic activity in a specific area. We applied this analysis in Eliki fault zone, which is located in the western part of the Gulf of Corinth. Eliki fault zone was selected because it displays a spectacular geomorphic expression and hosts historic and recent seismicity. The intensity of active tectonics is interpreted through a detailed geomorphic study of the fault-generated mountain fronts and fluvial systems. Tectonic geomorphology analysis of the Eliki footwall area includes the application of the most commonly used geomorphic indices, such as the mountain front sinuosity index (Smf), the valley floor / width ratio index (Vf), the stream gradient index (SL) and the transverse topographic symmetry factor (T). These indices were estimated on topographic maps and aerial photographs of the study area in order to correlate active tectonics and erosional processes. Our results imply that the Eliki fault zone can be assigned to a tectonic class of the higher tectonic activity. However, spatial variations of tectonic activity along the segmented studied fronts point to a general trend of increasing activity towards the east, which is gradually decreasing towards the west.

A szerzok laboratóriumi talajérleléses kísérletet állítottak be meszes Duna öntéstalajon különbözo elemi kén dózisok (0,1 g; 1,0 g; 2,5 g; 5,0 g; illetve 10 g/tenyészedény, azaz 50, 500, 1250, 2500 és 5000 kg ha-1) talajbeli oxidációjának vizsgálata céljából mutrágyázatlan, illetve NPK-mutrágyázott körülmények között. A 84 napos inkubációs periódus elteltével a talajok pH(H2O),pH(KCl) értékeit, valamint a talajokban mérheto, vízoldható szulfátion-koncentrációt elemezték. Az eredményeket varianciaanalízis és regressziószámítás segítségével értékelték. Az elvégzett vizsgálatok alapján megállapították, hogy a mutrágyázatlan talajok különbözo elemi kén adagok hatására kialakult pH-értékei szignifikáns különbséget nem mutattak, míg a mutrágyázott kezelések esetén az emelkedo kéndózisok hatására bekövetkezo pH-csökkenés 0,1 %-os szignifikancia szinten általánosnak bizonyult. A talajok felveheto szulfátion-koncentrációja vélhetoen a kezelések, valamint a talajok mikrobiális tevékenységének hatására minden esetben nott. Az elemi kén adagok, valamint a talajok mért szulfátion-koncentrációinak 0,1 %-os szignifikancia szinten érvényesülo összefüggései azonban a talaj pH-értékeinek alakulásával bizonyítható kapcsolatot nem mutattak. A látszólagos ellentmondás hátterében számos biológiai, fizikai és kémiai tényezo állhat, melyek meghatározása a kapott összefüggések tisztázása szempontjából további vizsgálatok szükségességét veti fel.

Abstract:

This research aims to reveal the ‘selfness’ of Sartika as the subject through her hidden desire that is repressed by the values, law, and culture in the poems collected in poetry anthology Elegi Titi Gantung (2016). The aim comes from the phenomenon that the subject (human) never really knows her desire. The desired object is always replaced by another desired object. Based on that, the issues raised were (1) how is the combination of signifier as Sartika Sari’s desire manifestation through metaphor and metonymy mechanism in the poetry anthology of Elegi Titi Gantung? (2) how is Sartika Sari’s desire that is manifested in the poetry anthology of Elegi Titi Gantung? This research used Lacanian perspective and method, i.e. analyzing the data in the form of words, phrases, stanzas, or lines in the poem to find the under-consciousness condition of Sartika who wishes the wholeness of herself through metaphor and metonymy mechanism. The result of this research was that Sartika has the desire to be an existing woman and an ideal woman. Sartika’s desire to be an existing woman showed her existence as a subject in the Symbolic order. Meanwhile, Sartika’s desire to be an ideal woman was a negotiation form toward herself who wanted freedom.

Abstract:

The Elek culture plate precipitin test is routinely used for the detection of exotoxin from toxigenic strains of Corynebacterium diphtheriae. Recently, the World Health Organization standardized this test to ensure accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility. In this study, we further modified the standard Elek test by using the antitoxin-in-membrane (AIM) and antitoxin-in-well (AIW) approaches. In the AIM tests, each strain was stabbed and streaked backwards and away from a point approximately 7 mm from the edge of a sterile cellulose acetate-cellulose nitrate filter membrane disk (pore size, 0.45 μm; diameter, 25 mm) containing 25 IU of diphtheria antitoxin. For AIW tests, a central well (diameter, 5 mm) containing 9 μl of antitoxin (4.5 IU) was surrounded by eight equidistant stab-streaks of each strain placed 10 mm from the well. In both methods, precipitin bands of identity typically were noted after 24- and 48-h incubations at 37°C. Both toxigenic and weak toxigenic strains gave clear and reproducible results. Compared with the standard Elek test, the AIM and AIW tests each use 50% less medium and 75 and 87% less antitoxin, respectively. AIM has the potential to test up to 14 isolates and AIW has the potential to test up to 24 isolates on the same plate. Furthermore, clearer positives were noted with weak toxigenic strains. In a blinded test of 209 verified C. diphtheriae isolates, a 99.5% agreement with the standard Elek test was obtained overall. Both modifications conserve reagents and medium, permit the simultaneous testing of a larger number of strains, and may be particularly suitable for reference laboratories or hospitals involved in diphtheria epidemic settings.

Abstract:

ABSTRACT Leachate from a municipal battery recycling site is a potent source of mixed-metal released into the environment. The present study investigated the degree at which mixed-metal exposure to the municipal auto-battery leachate (MABL) and to the Elewi Odo municipal auto-battery recycling site leachate (EOMABRL) affected the lipid membrane of the testes in in vitro experiment. The results showed elevated level of mixed-metals over the permissible levels in drinking water, as recommended by regulatory authorities. In the leachate samples, the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), a biomarker of lipid damage, was significantly (p<0.05) increased in rat testes in a dose-dependent manner. MDA induced by the municipal auto-battery leachate (MABL) was significantly (p<0.05) higher than the leachate from Elewi Odo municipal auto-battery recycling site (EOMABRL). The testicular lipid membrane capacity was compromised following treatment with leachate from the municipal battery recycling site, implicating mixed-metal exposure as the causative agent of testicular damage and male infertility.

Abstract:

Paleoseismological analysis based on geological data enable us to understand the recent seismic history of the Eliki fault. Along the eastern "segment (or strand)" scarp 5 trenches have been excavated (8x5x2m), their walls were mapped in scale 1:20 and further analyzed by precise tectono-stratigraphic methodology. The Kerynitis river, which crosses the Eliki fault from S to Ν and supplies the alluvial plain, has subsided at a rate of 1.4 mm/ yr. The river was running from west to east, resulting the fluvial conglomerates in the trenches, which have buried under the colluvial sediments. Based on colluvium stratigraphy, displacement of distinct horizons, deposition of sedimentary layers and C14 dating, faulting events have been identified affecting unconsolidated sediments in the trench. The penultimate 373 BC event and the two younger events with a throw of 0.93 m and 1.37 m respectively, the third event, with a throw of 0.44 m, suggest a variable seismic history.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna puisi “Elegi Laut” (EL) karya Sofyan Daud (SD) berdasarkan pendekatan semiotik Riffaterre. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dan melalui teknik pembacaan heuristik dan hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi EL menggunakan konvensi sastra (ketaklangsungan), pergantian makna (displacing) yang berupa metafora, dan penciptaan makna (creating of meaning) yang berupa homologues ‘persamaan makna’ dan penguatan makna. Varian-varian merujuk pada matriks yang sama, yaitu manusia sebagai pelaku ketidakseimbangan ekologi itu sendiri. Matriks tersebut membawa puisi EL pada sebuah hipogram Ikan-Ikan Hiu, Ido, Homa karya Mangunwijaya yang dapat dijadikan salah satu hipogram tekstual puisi EL.

A tanulmány Franz Kokall budai városi vámos és tanácsos leányainak házasságán keresztül mutatja be a házastársi konfliktusok rendezésének lehetőségeit, valamint a polgári házasság állandó „mellékszereplőit”. A legidősebb leány, Isabella nincstelen szerelme helyett a szülei által választott rézműves polgárhoz ment hozzá. A kezdetektől botrányokkal tarkított házassága állandó beszédtémát szolgáltatott a városban. Férje a korábbi kérőjétől érkezett, asszonyszöktetést előkészítő levelekre hivatkozva próbált megszabadulni a feleségétől. Isabella oldalán azonban ott állt városi alkalmazott apja, aki sikeresen képviselte a tanács előtt. A viták ezt követően sem szűntek meg, az apa, az asszony fivére, a bérlőik, a barátok és a szomszédok így vagy úgy részt vettek az eseményekben. Békétlen életük miatt férje hirtelen halálát követően Isabella férjgyilkosság gyanújába keveredett. Apja minden tekintélyére és kezességére szükség volt, hogy ne ítéljék el. Isabella apja segítségével egy szegény polgár neje lett, soha többé nem került a hatóságok látókörébe, mégis egész életében megbélyegzett maradt, akinek a nevét tisztességes ember óvakodott kimondani. Egyik húga, Susanna Helena nővére példájából tanulva közel két évtizeden keresztül tűrte férje méltatlan bánásmódját, míg másik húga, az özvegy von Krempelné támogatásával a tanács elé merte vinni az ügyüket. Az apa és fivérek ekkor már nem éltek, von Krempelné magában nem tudott eredményesen fellépni húga császári hadnagy férjével szemben. Ha mást nem is értek el, mindenesetre jó figyelmeztetés, nyilvános megszégyenülés volt a tanúk kihallgatása a férj számára. Franziska Gertrud von Krempel kisebb-nagyobb kölcsönökkel támogatta a húgáékat és igyekezett ezen a módon biztosítani a családi békét. A két fiatalabb leánytestvér nem feledkezett meg a városi társadalom peremére került nővérükről, haláláig támogatták anyagilag, még a férjükkel is dacolva. Abstract:

Napjainkban a neveléstörténeti kutatásban egyre gyakrabban használnak fel ikonográfiai elemeket, mert a képek nagyon hatásosan egészítik ki a szöveges és a narratív forrásokat. Jelen esetben több fotográfus fényképei adták a kutatás kiindulópontját. Az összesen 146 fényképből álló katalógus – a 20. század elejére datált fényképek felhasználásával – különböző albumokból, fotótárakból lett összeállítva. Ennek során a következő tematika szerint történt a csoportosítás: szociófotók, gyermekjátékok, tehetős családok gyermekei, gyermek a dadájával, ételosztás gyermekeknek, gyermekmunka, gyermekkori tragédiák, roma gyermekek, zsidó gyermekek, menekültek lakásviszonyai. A multiperspektivikus ábrázolás és az értelmező szövegkorpusz együttese alaposabb bepillantást enged a a 20. század eleji magyar gyermeki lét történéseibe.

Abstract:

An understanding of the perceptions of residents about the impacts of tourism helps planners maximize positive benefits and minimize the negative impacts the industry inevitably has. This study investigates the perception of residents in a local community in a developing country Nigeria, trying to understand whether the predominant perceptions are positive or negative. Questionnaire-based primary research was used to measure the attitudes and opinions of residents to different statements of positive and negative impacts and general support for the industry. The results show that the predominant perceptions in the community are positive ones and that there were significant relationships between the demographics data obtained and some perceptions and also that resident’s economic dependence affects how people felt either positively or negatively and their perceptions of the industry affect their support of the industry.

Abstract:

Az eredetileg összefoglaló előadásként elhangzott publikáció a Darwin-féle kirekesztő szelekció evolúciós elvére felfűzve kísérli meg az érzékelés, az elemi tanulás és a megismerés fiziológiai és kísérleti pszichológiai értelemben vett több részfunkcióját egységes elmélet keretében magyarázni. Először kitér saját laboratóriumainak idegsejt-differenciálási eredményeire, amelyek a szelektív kiiktatás mechanizmusait illusztrálják, majd az elemi feltételes reflexfolyamatok és azok elektromos modelljének szabályait elemzi a darwini elvek alapján. A belső szervi, viszcerális érzékeléssel összefüggő kiterjedt humán vizsgálatok vezették el a szerzőt és munkatársait ahhoz a nézethez, amely a kiválasztott és megszűrt, tehát szelektált „jel” és a látszólag kevésbé fontos, kiiktatott „háttérzaj” kölcsönös függőségéről és kooperációjáról vall. Aláhúzza, hogy a nem tudatos pszichikus szféra szívós és szüntelen hatását a tudatos kogníció háttereként mindig figyelembe kell venni, mert állandóan mozgó eliminatív szelekció működik az éppen alámerülő, illetve éppen felbukkanó lelki jelenségek között. Az emberi faj prioritását az evolúció során tulajdonképpen a verbalizált tudatnak és a nem verbalizált tudattalannak kettős és párhuzamos jelenléte biztosította és biztosítja. Ez az evolúciós haszon egyben tehermentesítő funkciót is jelent: a tudatból a tudaton kívüli háttérbe való állandó „mentés” és a kognícióba való szüntelen „előhívás” lehetősége hallatlan előnyt biztosított és biztosít az emberi faj számára.
