Abstract:
Möchte eine minderjährige Schwangere ihre Schwangerschaft abbrechen, war nach der bisheri­gen Rechtsprechung der deutschen Oberlandesgerichte stets die Einwilligung ihrer Eltern oder sonstigen Sorgeberechtigten in den ärztlichen Eingriff erforderlich. Mit dieser Rechtsprechung hat das Oberlandesgericht Hamm Ende 2019 gebrochen. Ein 16 Jahre altes Mädchen befand sich in der elften Schwangerschaftswoche und wollte die Schwangerschaft abbrechen. Straf­rechtlich war dies nach erfolgter Beratung durch eine zuständige Beratungsstelle nicht unter­sagt (§218a Abs.1 StGB). Zivilrechtlich stellte sich aber die Frage, ob die Einwilligung der Eltern erforderlich war, die gem. Art.6 Abs.2 GG und §1626 BGB zur elterlichen Sorge für ihr minderjähriges Kind berechtigt und verpflichtet sind. Der Vater des Mädchens war mit der Abtreibung einverstanden, die Mutter lehnte sie jedoch aus religiösen Gründen entschieden ab. Das OLG Hamm attestierte der schwangeren Minderjährigen die erforderliche individuelle Reife und Einsichtsfähigkeit, um selbst über den Schwangerschaftsabbruch zu entscheiden, und hielt ihre Einwilligung für ausreichend. Damit hat es Minderjährige in ihrem verfassungsrecht­lich geschützten Selbstbestimmungsrecht gestärkt und aus Sicht der Verfasserin eine Entschei­dung getroffen, der Zustimmung gebührt.

Abstract:
Zusammenfassung. Zielsetzung des hier vorgestellten Elterntrainingsprogramms war es, die Eltern im Umgang mit ihren Kindern in Lernsituationen und während der Hausaufgabenbearbeitung zu unterstützen. Das Training stellt einen Ansatz zur Elternweiterbildung dar, der Selbstregulationsinhalte und Methoden zur Unterstützung selbstverantwortlichen Lernens der Kinder kombiniert. Insgesamt nahmen 31 Eltern an der Untersuchung teil, davon 20 in der Experimentalgruppe und 11 Eltern in der Kontrollgruppe. Es handelt sich um ein quasiexperimentelles Kontrollgruppendesign mit Messwiederholung. Die Effekte wurden sowohl bei den Eltern als auch auf Schülerebene überprüft. Es zeigte sich, dass sich bei den Eltern keine Effekte in den elterlichen Selbstregulationsskalen, jedoch Effekte in den Skalen der Elternmethoden finden lassen. Auch die Selbstwirksamkeitserwartung der Eltern konnte erhöht werden. Weiterhin berichteten die Eltern von reduzierten Problemen ihrer Kinder bei der Hausaufgabendurchführung. Obwohl die Kinder kein verändertes Verhalten der Eltern wahrnahmen, zeigten sich bei den Schülern trainierter Eltern positive Effekte hinsichtlich der Selbstregulationsskalen.

Abstract:
Diese Untersuchung vergleicht psychisch kranke Eltern und unbelastete Eltern hinsichtlich ihrer Stressbelastung durch die Elternschaft. Zudem werden die Zusammenhänge zwischen elterlicher Stressbelastung und psychischer Symptomatik der Kinder analysiert und untersucht, inwiefern sich psychisch kranke Eltern bezüglich dieser Zusammenhänge von unbelasteten Eltern unterscheiden. In die Studie wurde eine klinische Stichprobe (N=83) mit einem psychisch kranken Elternteil sowie eine „nicht-klinische“ Vergleichsstichprobe (N=121) einbezogen. Die elterliche Stressbelastung wurde im Selbsturteil, die kindliche Symptomatik im Fremdurteil (Eltern) erfasst. Die Ergebnisse zeigten, dass die elterliche Stressbelastung bei den psychisch kranken Eltern stärker ausgeprägt war als bei den unbelasteten Eltern. Es fand sich außerdem eine signifikante Wechselbeziehung zwischen der Ausprägung der Symptome der Kinder und dem Stresserleben der Eltern. Dieser Zusammenhang war in der Gruppe der psychisch kranken Eltern wesentlich stärker ausgeprägt als in der Vergleichstichprobe. Das Ergebnis verweist auf einen negativen Zirkel, in dem sich viele Familien mit einem psychisch kranken Elternteil befinden, und impliziert familienzentrierte Interventionen.

Abstract:
The corpus of the Hungarian novel created at the ELTE Department of Digital Humanities offers new methodologies for the philological research and “distant reading” approaches by providing a digitized, annotated and searchable database of freely accessible novels from the Hungarian literary history. The database fits organically into the international collection of the ELTeC COST Action Project (European Literary Text Collection https://www.distant-reading.net/eltec/), since the first 100 novels of the database are part of the Hungarian sub-corpus of that collection. Beside the description of the corpus and the aspects of the selection, the paper also reports in detail on the possibilities of the quantitative analysis of the novels. In doing so, we want to present what kind of knowledge of the Hungarian literary history can be produced by applying statistical and linguistic approaches, and what role these methods can play in the process of the interpretation of the texts. Through the visualized tendencies, a new history of the style of the Hungarian prose can be outlined, while the peculiarities of some texts in relation to others can lead to the description of the poetics of the given authors and their novels.

Az itteni Ravvádida emírség területén kezdetben szívesen látott vendégek voltak, mivel hasznos segédcsapatok­ként számítottak rájuk rivális szomszédaik ellen. A térség eltörökösítése ezzel a csoporttal kezdődött meg, érdemes megvizsgálni azokat a körülményeket, melyek megtelepedésüket lehetővé tette.

Abstract:
Die Studie beschäftigt sich mit den psychosozialen Belastungen von Eltern, Kindern und Jugendlichen während der Lockdown-Phasen in Deutschland seit Beginn der Corona-Pandemie. Der Fokus liegt hierbei auf den Auswirkungen der Kontaktbeschränkungen und Schulschließungen auf den mentalen und psychischen Gesundheitszustand. Vor allem für Kinder und Jugendliche sind in dieser Zeit viele alltagssichernde Strukturen weggebrochen, welche langfristige Konsequenzen für ihr persönliches Wohlbefinden und ihre Entwicklung nach sich ziehen könnten. Die zugrundeliegenden Daten sind zum einen Metadaten, welche den aktuellen Forschungsstand zu diesem Thema wiedergeben. Zudem erfolgen auch eigene Analysen mit längsschnittlichen und repräsentativen Daten des deutschen Beziehungs- und Familienpanels pairfam und deren COVID-19-Zusatzbefragung. Diese Befunde dienen dazu einen Überblick über die Lage von Eltern, Kindern und Jugendlichen zu geben, um letztlich adäquate politische und gesellschaftliche Maßnahmen und Handlungsempfehlungen ableiten zu können.

We believe the climate crisis will be resolved in cities. Today, while cities occupy only 2% of the Earth's surface, 57% of the world's population lives in cities, and by 2050, it will jump to 68% (UN, 2018). Currently, cities consume over 75% of natural resources, accumulate 50% of the global waste and emit up to 80% of greenhouse gases (Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2017). Cities generate 70% of the global gross domestic product and are significant drivers of economic growth (UN-Habitat III, 2016). At the same time, cities sit on the frontline of natural disasters such as floods, storms and droughts (De Sherbinin et al., 2007; Major et al., 2011; Rockström et al., 2021). One of the sustainability pathways to reduce the environmental consequences of the current extract-make-dispose model (or the "linear economy") is a circular economy (CE) model. A CE is defined as "an economic system that is based on business models which replace the 'end-of-life' concept with reducing, alternatively reusing, recycling and recovering materials in production/distribution and consumption processes" (Kirchherr et al., 2017, p. 224). By redesigning production processes and thereby extending the lifespan of goods and materials, researchers suggest that CE approaches reduce waste and increase employment and resource security while sustaining business competitiveness (Korhonen et al., 2018; Niskanen et al., 2020; Stahel, 2012; Winans et al., 2017). Organizations such as the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Circle Economy help steer businesses toward CE strategies. The CE is also a political priority in countries and municipalities globally. For instance, the CE Action Plan, launched by the European Commission in 2015 and reconfirmed in 2020, is a central pillar of the European Green Deal (European Commission, 2015, 2020). Additionally, more governments are implementing national CE strategies in China (Ellen MacArthur Foundation, 2018), Colombia (Government of the Republic of Colombia, 2019), Finland (Sitra, 2016), Sweden (Government Offices of Sweden, 2020) and the US (Metabolic, 2018, 2019), to name a few. Meanwhile, more cities worldwide are adopting CE models to achieve more resource-efficient urban management systems, thereby advancing their environmental ambitions (Petit-Boix & Leipold, 2018; Turcu & Gillie, 2020; Vanhuyse, Haddaway, et al., 2021). Cities with CE ambitions include, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Toronto, Peterborough (England) and Umeå (Sweden) (OECD, 2020a). In Europe, over 60 cities signed the European Circular Cities Declaration (2020) to harmonize the transition towards a CE in the region. In this policy brief, we provide insights into common challenges local governments face in implementing their CE plans and suggest recommendations for overcoming these. It aims to answer the question: How can the CE agenda be governed in cities? It is based on the results of the Urban Circularity Assessment Framework (UCAF) project, building on findings from 25 interviews, focus group discussions and workshops held with different stakeholder groups in Umeå, as well as research on Stockholm's urban circularity potential, including findings from 11 expert interviews (Rezaie, 2021). Our findings were complemented by the Circular Economy Lab project (Rezaie et al., 2022) and experiences from working with municipal governments in Sweden, Belgium, France and the UK, on CE and environmental and social sustainability.

This review sets out key considerations for improving vaccine equity – as well as broader health equity – in the North West London (NWL) borough of Ealing. It foregrounds the political, economic and social dynamics which have perpetuated health inequalities during and prior to COVID-19, and how they have manifested to shape COVID-19 vaccine accessibility and uptake among different social groups. It also highlights how local actors have sought to address these inequalities. By bringing together data and insights from existing social science research and consultations with people involved in local COVID-19 vaccination efforts (in local authorities, the NHS and community groups), we point to ways local authorities and healthcare providers, in collaboration with local people and organisations, can support vaccine equity – and health equity more broadly – now, and into the future. Critical to this are further efforts to integrate sensitivity to context, sustain collaborative working, build trust and meaningfully engage citizens (especially vulnerable groups), and support a robust civil society. The review begins with summary key considerations for operational actors. This review was produced by SSHAP in collaboration with Ealing Council. Zusätzlich vergibt die AvH seit 2001 Wilhelm Friedrich Bessel-Forschungspreise an jüngere Wissenschaftler/innen, die ihre Promotion vor nicht mehr als 18 Jahren abgeschlossen haben und die in ihren wissenschaftlichen Spezialgebieten bereits als „kommende Stars“ wahrgenommen werden. Die Nominierung der Kandidat/inn/en für die Forschungspreise erfolgt durch Wissenschaftler/innen in Deutschland. Mit der Preisverleihung werden die Preisträger/innen zusätzlich zu einem Aufenthalt nach Deutschland von bis zu einem Jahr einladen, um in Kooperation mit Fachkolleg/inn/en in Deutschland ein selbst gewähltes Forschungsvorhaben durchzuführen. At national and aggregate levels, COVID-19 vaccination across G7 countries appears successful. To date, 79.4% of the total population of G7 countries have received a first dose, 72.9% a second, and 45.4% a booster shot (28th April 2022 data). In France, 80.6% of the total population has had a first dose, 78.2 % have had two doses, and 55.4% have had their booster jabs (28th of April 2022 data). In the UK, 79.3% of the total population has received one dose, 74.1% a second one, and 58.5% have received a booster. In Italy, 85.2% of the total population has had a first dose, 80.4% have had two doses, and 66.5% have had their booster jabs (28th of April 2022 data). These figures indicate enthusiasm across G7 countries for COVID-19 vaccines. Yet high overall vaccination rates at the national level, disguise significant in-country disparities. For example, by the end of 2021, less than 50% of residents of the Northern Districts of Marseille were vaccinated, compared with over 70% in wealthier neighbourhoods. In the Ealing borough of Northwest London, 70% of the eligible population has had a first dose – which is almost 10% percent below the national average (4th of April 2022 data). Disparities are also seen in other urban metropolises across the G7. This brief investigates these disparities through the lens of “vaccine (in)equity”, focusing on the role of local actors. It builds on ethnographic and qualitative research carried out in the Northern Districts of Marseille and ongoing research engagement around vaccine equity in Ealing (Northwest London), as well as qualitative research carried out in Italy among networks of healthcare providers, intercultural mediators, and civil society organizations that collaborated during the COVID-19 campaign in the Emilia Romagna region and in Rome. This brief is based on research conducted between October and December 2021 in Marseille and ongoing engagement in Ealing which started in May 2021. It identified how local governments, health actors, community groups and residents play key roles in shaping vaccine (in)equity. Si l’on s’en tient aux chiffres de la vaccination contre la COVID-19 dans les pays du G7, la campagne apparaît comme un véritable succès tant au niveau global qu’au niveau national. En effet, à ce jour, 79,4 % de la population totale des pays du G7 a reçu une première dose, 72,9 % une seconde, et 45,4 % une dose de rappel (données du 28 avril 2022) 1 En France, c’est 80,6 % de la population totale qui a reçu une première dose, 78,2 % qui a reçu deux doses, et 55,4 % qui a reçu un rappel (données du 28 avril 2022).2 Au Royaume-Uni, 79,3 % de la population totale a reçu une première dose, 74,1 % une seconde, et 58,5 % un rappel.1 Enfin, en Italie, 85,2 % de la population totale a reçu une première dose, 80,4 % a reçu deux doses et 66,5 % a reçu leurs rappels (données du 28 avril 2022). Ces taux de vaccination élevés masquent pourtant des disparités importantes à l’intérieur de chaque pays. Ainsi, à Marseille, deuxième ville de France, moins de 50 % des habitants des quartiers nord de la ville étaient vaccinés à la fin de l’année 2021, alors que plus de 70 % des habitants des quartiers sud l’étaient au même moment.3 Dans le quartier populaire de Ealing, situé au nord-ouest de Londres, 70 % de la population admissible avait reçu une première dose, soit près de 10 % de moins que la moyenne nationale. 4 (Données du 4 avril 2022). Des disparités similaires ont été observées dans d’autres métropoles urbaines des pays du G7. Ce document examine ces disparités au prisme de la notion d’« (in)égalité vaccinale ». En s’appuyant sur des recherches qualitatives menées pendant la campagne de vaccination de la COVID-19 dans les quartiers nord de Marseille, le quartier de Ealing à Londres (Nord-ouest) et dans la région de l'Émilie-Romagne et à Rome, en Italie, il montre comment les autorités locales peuvent agir pour atténuer ces inégalités. Mieux comprendre les inégalités en matière de vaccins fut primordial lors de la pandémie de la COVID-19 en ce sens que les populations sous-vaccinées étaient la plupart du temps des minorités ethniques ou culturelles, vivant dans des zones défavorisées, ou sans-papiers, donc plus susceptibles de contracter la COVID-19, et d’en subir les conséquences les plus dramatiques. 5 6 7 8 Ainsi, à Ealing, quatre mois après la campagne de vaccination, seulement 57,6% des personnes dans le décile de pauvreté le plus bas avaient reçu une dose, contre 81% des personnes dans le décile le plus aisé. 9 En outre, 89,2 % des résidents britanniques blancs de Ealing étaient vaccinés, contre 64 % des Pakistanais et 49,3 % des habitants issus des Caraïbes.9 À Rome, comme c’est le cas dans d’autres métropoles urbaines des pays du G7, nos données révèlent des disparités particulières importantes entre le recours aux vaccins des populations sans papiers et celui des citoyens établis. Les facteurs d’inégalité vaccinale dans ces environnements urbains sont complexes et liés à l’interaction de nombreux phénomènes tels que les inégalités économiques, le racisme structurel, l'inégalité d'accès aux soins de santé, la méfiance envers les professionnels de santé, les représentants de l'État, et plus encore. Les collectivités locales tout comme les professionnels de la santé, les groupes communautaires et les résidents jouent un rôle clé dans la manière dont s’exprime l’(in)égalité vaccinale. Pour autant, peu de leçons ont été systématiquement tirées des efforts menés en matière d’ «engagement vaccinal » au niveau local. Dans ce document, nous proposons d’expliquer comment l’expérience des inégalités structurelles se recoupe avec celle des habitants, et comment ces expériences ont été prises en compte ou au contraire ignorées dans la promotion et l’administration des vaccins contre la COVID-19 par les collectivités locales. Nous adressons également un ensemble de recommandations qui s’appliquent aux programmes de « vaccination de rattrapage » contre la COVID-19 (visant à atteindre les personnes qui n’ont pas encore reçu leur schéma vaccinal complet), mais elles concernent également les programmes de vaccination d'urgence à venir. Ce document repose sur des recherches menées entre octobre et décembre 2021 à Marseille et sur des échanges réguliers avec les autorités du Borough de Ealing initiés dès mai 2021. Il identifie comment les gouvernements locaux, les acteurs de la santé, les groupes communautaires et les résidents jouent un rôle clé dans la production d’(in)égalités vaccinales.
