Nowadays, security plays a big role, notably in homes, companies, and banks. This article uses embedded systems to design a bank locker security system. The Global System for Mobile (GSM) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies are the foundation of this system. Only honest people are permitted to retrieve money or gold from bank lockers. It is created by fusing RFID and GSM technologies, allowing for real-time activation, authentication, and validation of the user and door unlocking for safe access to bank lockers. GSM and passive RFID are safer than other technologies. A microcontroller, RFID reader, GSM modem, keyboard, and a liquid crystal diode make up this system (LCD). This system employs a dual password protection scheme to ensure that only legitimate individuals can get funds from bank lockers.

<p>To effectively reduce the cost of firmware upgrade and maintenance of embedded devices, according to the requirement of a remote firmware update of embedded devices, this paper proposes a remote online firmware upgrade technology based on ZigBee. Combined with the requirements of remote online firmware upgrade application of tower-mounted amplifier, this paper analyzes and studies the system requirements, ZigBee module selection and design, software design and implementation (communication protocol design of host and slave program, breakpoint continuation function), fault analysis and other aspects. Designed experiments and tested the ZigBee connection success rate under the device startup state and normal operation state, the relationship between transmission firmware size and transmission success rate, system CPU resource consumption, transmission distance, transmission rate, the success rate, data reuse rate and acceleration ratio of breakpoint continuation function, and other performance indicators. The experimental results show that the remote online firmware upgrade technology based on ZigBee for embedded devices can better meet the system’s performance requirements in all aspects and improve the data reuse rate and acceleration ratio in the process of data transmission. The experimental results show that this scheme has the advantages of simplicity, low cost, high reliability, and broad application prospects.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

A mobile robot based on embedded system can meet the requirement of low energy cost and miniaturization. An embedded system for moving target tracking is designed in this paper. By combining with wavelet transmission, an improved algorithm of particle filter with wavelet particles is proposed for tracking maneuver target, and then a scheme of optimization is also proposed to enhance the real-time property of the system. This paper presents Embedded Inertial Navigation System designed and manufactured by the Department of Automatic Control and Robotics in Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland. Designed system is currently one of the smallest in the world. Within it there is implemented INS-GPS loosely coupled data fusion algorithm and point-to-point navigation algorithm. Abstract:
A novel method of experimental sensitivity analysis for nonlinear system identification of mechanical systems is examined here. It has been shown previously that embedded sensitivity functions, which are quadratic algebraic products of frequency response function data, can be used to identify structural design modifications for reducing vibration levels. It is shown here that embedded sensitivity functions can also be used to characterize and identify mechanical nonlinearities. Embedded sensitivity functions represent the rate of change of the response with variation in input amplitude, and yield estimates of system parameters without being explicitly dependent on them. Frequency response functions are measured at multiple input amplitudes and combined using embedded sensitivity analysis to extract spectral patterns for characterizing systems with stiffness and damping nonlinearities. By comparing embedded sensitivity functions with finite difference frequency response sensitivities, which incorporate the amplitude-dependent behavior of mechanical nonlinearities, models can be determined using an inverse problem that uses system sensitivity to estimate parameters. Expressions for estimating nonlinear parameters are derived using Taylor series expansions of frequency response functions in conjunction with the method of harmonic balance for periodic signals. Using both simulated and experimental data, this procedure is applied to estimate the nonlinear parameters of a two degree-of-freedom model and a vehicle exhaust system to verify the approach.

Abstract:
This paper introduces fire supervisory system design based on embedded system using by ARM9. Embedded technology and field bus technology are used for the system design. The system can realize detecting on-line. Showing uninterruptedly the information for fire monitory point of the building, the working current for electricity lines, the leakage current, as well as environmental temperature parameters e.g., through the LCD panel. Through this system The fire information of the building and the electrical wiring or the change, fault and abnormal condition for fire danger parameters of the equipment can be mastered at any time, and the hidden fire danger can be found in time, eliminating the hidden fire danger through the alarm and terminal linkage device.
