Thus, this thesis examines predictors of mortality from a case series of 1395 persons presenting to the Emergency department of the Hospital Universitario San Vicente de Paul (HUSVP). Objetivou-se analisar a satisfação dos usuários com o acesso e o acolhimento da Atenção Básica (AB) à saúde, a partir dos atendimentos nas unidades de Pronto-Atendimento (PA). Estudo misto do tipo concorrente em que dados quantitativos e qualitativos foram coletados simultaneamente. A amostra foi constituída por 514 usuários em situações não urgentes das cinco unidades de PA dos cinco Distritos de Saúde (DS) de Ribeirão Preto-SP e que passaram em atendimento na AB ao menos uma vez nos seis meses que antecederam a coleta de dados para avaliar o atendimento na unidade de AB de referência.
