The Pacific Mole crab Emerita analoga is a filter-feeding crustacean inhabiting sandy beaches along the western coasts of North and South America. The tissues of E. analoga contain carotenoids, dietary pigments that are involved in crustacean cryptic coloration and egg development. La Dystrophie Musculaire d’Emery-Dreifuss se caractérise par des rétractions tendineuses, une atteinte musculaire et une cardiomyopathie. Notre étude épidémiologique montre que 8,5% des patients sont mutés dans le gène EMD pour la forme liée à l'X et 26,5% dans LMNA pour la forme autosomique, laissant 65% sans diagnostic. Nous avons identifié 7 nouvelles mutations dans le gène FHL1 dans 3 familles liées et chez 4 autres patients. O Gráben de Camamu corresponde à parte sul de um sistema de grábens conectados, controlado pelo sistema de Falhas de Maragogipe, na porção continental da Bacia de Camamu. Trabalhos anteriores interpretaram os depósitos aflorantes neste gráben como pertencentes Grupo Brotas, fase pré-rifte de evolução da bacia. No presente trabalho foi realizado um estudo estratigráfico detalhado nesta área. Evidências estruturais e estratigráficas aqui apresentadas indicam que esses depósitos foram controlados por tectônica extensional e, portanto, devem ser relacionados com a fase rifte de evolução da bacia.
