Artykuł poświęcony jest zagadnieniom ekologicznej eksploatacji silników spalinowych lokomotyw, lekkich pojazdów szynowych oraz pojazdów specjalnych na krajowych liniach kolejowych. Przedstawiono przyczyny emisji składników szkodliwych oraz limity emisji spalin z pojazdów trakcyjnych według obowiązujących przepisów i dyrektyw. Ponadto zaprezentowano aparaturę wraz z metodykami badań i zasadami określania poziomów emisji najważniejszych składników toksycznych oraz przedstawiono wyniki badań prowadzonych na lokomotywach, lekkich i specjalnych pojazdach szynowych. W zakończeniu podano wskazówki dla spełnienia przez silniki spalinowe określonych wymagań w zakresie emisji składników toksycznych.

Abstract:
Artykuł poświęcony jest zagadnieniom badania silników spalinowych pojazdów trakcyjnych, zwłaszcza lokomotyw, sprowadzanych do kraju z zagranicy. Przedstawiono dopuszczalne limity zawartości składników toksycznych w spalinach emitowanych do atmosfery przez silniki stosowane w spalinowych pojazdach trakcyjnych według różnych przepisów i dyrektyw. Ponadto zaprezentowano aparaturę wraz z metodyką badań i zasadami określania poziomów emisji najważniejszych składników toksycznych oraz przedstawiono wyniki badań prowadzonych na lokomotywach (sprowadzanych zazwyczaj z zagranicy), zarówno z silnikami remontowanymi jak i z nowymi silnikami wymienianymi w ramach napraw i modernizacji. W zakończeniu przedstawiono wskazówki dla spełnienia przez silniki spalinowe określonych wymagań w zakresie emisji składników toksycznych.

Abstract:
Gas buang kendaraan bermotor merupakan sumber polusi udara yang mencapai 60-70% dari jumlah polusi yang ada. WHO memperkirakan bahwa 70% penduduk kota di dunia pernah menghirup udara kotor akibat emisi kendaraan bermotor, sedangkan sisanya menghirup udara yang bersifat marginal. Di Indonesia sejak tahun 2005 mulai menerapkan standar emisi gas buang bagi kendaraan bermotor, untuk kendaraan bermotor katagori Heavy Duty Diesel Engine yang diproduksi, Indonesia memberlakukan standar berdasarkan tingkatan emisi Euro 2. Tingkatan Emisi Euro 2 menggunakan metode pengujian emisi UNECE R-49 yang merupakan rangkaian pengujian yang terdiri dari 13 macam mode dengan kecepatan/putaran engine dan pembebanan tertentu. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut di atas, maka penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian terapan dengan tema “karakterisasi emisi heavy duty diesel engine dengan metode uji UNECE R-49”. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menerapkan secara STKK (Sistem dan Tata Kerja Kerekayasaan) yang meliputi 7 (tujuh) butir kegiatan yaitu, menetapkan konfigurasi pengujian, pemasangan benda uji/instrument yang akan digunakan, menetapkan sistem penginderaan (control/sensor), menetapkan sistem perolehan dan pengolahan data pengujian, operasi pengujian, analisa data hasil pengujian dan interpretasi hasil pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan di Engine Test Cell 7 BT2MP (Balai Teknologi Termodinamika Motor dan Propulsi). Dari hasil pengujian dengan metode UNECE R-49 didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa tidak semua parameter tingkat emisi terpenuhi yaitu, tingkat emisi polutan NOx, CO dan HC memenuhi ambang batas/limit yang diijinkan, sedangkan tingkat emisi partikulat PM berada di atas ambang batas/limit yang diijinkan.

Emisi gas buang oksida-oksida sulfur yang terdiri dari SO2 dan SO3 merupakan salah satu polutan yang menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran udara. Sumber SOx umumnya berasal dari kegiatan emisi sumber tidak bergerak seperti pembangkit listrik, cerobong industri, pembakaran sumber domestik, maupun insinerator. Pengujian konsentrasi gas oksida-oksida sulfur (SOx) dari emisi sumber tidak bergerak dilakukan sebagai salah satu kegiatan pengkajian metode di Puslitbang Kualitas dan Laboratorium Lingkungan (P3KLL) yang berlangsung pada September – Oktober 2018. Laboratorium P3KLL melakukan verifikasi dengan menentukan limit deteksi terhadap metode uji yang diadopsi dari JIS K 0103:2011 Methods for determination of sulfur oxides in flue gas - Annex JC (normative). Instrumen kromatografi ion (IC) DIONEX ICS5000 tersebut dilengkapi dengan detektor konduktivitas, memiliki ukuran loop sampel 50μL, kolom separator IonPac AS18, kolom penjaga IonPAc AG18 dan suppressor ASRS-II yang dioperasikan pada suhu 35°C. Larutan yang digunakan sebagai eluen adalah campuran 2,7 mM Na2CO3 dan 0,3 mM NaHCO3 pada laju alir 1 L/menit. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri dari pengambilan contoh uji dari fasilitas cerobong genset dan proses verifikasi metode melalui analisis menggunakan IC. Hasil verifikasi metode pengujian SOx dalam emisi gas buang sumber tidak bergerak fasilitas genset menggunakan kromatografi ion menunjukkan bahwa limit deteksi, LoD(G) dan limit kuantifikasi, LoQ(G) yang diperoleh masing-masing sebesar 4 mg/Nm3 dan 13 mg/Nm3, sedangkan limit linearitas, LoL sebesar 834 mg/Nm3. Metode ini telah terverifikasi sesuai persyaratan teknis, dan laboratorium mampu menerapkan metode pengujian tersebut.

ABSTRAKDalam pengoperasian pembangkit energi listrik bukan saja untuk mendapatkan biaya yang minimal, namun juga meminimalkan emisi yang dihasilkan atau dikenal dengan Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED), karena emisi merupakan bagian dari permasalahan energi. Makalah ini mengusulkan teknik reduksi tempat kedudukan untuk memecahkan masalah CEED. Prinsip dasar dari teknik ini adalah menebarkan sejumlah kandidat pada tempat kedudukan, S0 yang dibentuk dari limit daya generator, dan ditentukan sebuah kandidat terbaik. S0 diperkecil dan proses diulangi hingga didapatkan tempat kedudukan yang sangat kecil dimana kandidat terbaiknya dapat dianggap sebagai titik optimal. Teknik ini lebih akurat dibandingkan dengan metoda lain seperti Gradient Method (GM), Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), JAYA Algorithm dan Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA). Hasilnya memberikan penghematan biaya tanpa melibatkan emisi masing-masing terhadap GM, ACO, PSO, WOA dan JAYA sebesar 9,24%, 3,91%, 0,56%, 0,47% dan 0,21%, serta bila melibatkan emisi sebesar 21,28%, 16,09%, 5,52%, 5,31% dan 5,04%.Kata kunci: CEED, reduksi tempat kedudukan, penghematan biaya, optimal, akurat. ABSTRACTIn an operating, generator units not only to get minimal costs but also to consider the emissions produced, known as the Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED), because emission is part of the energy problem. This paper proposes a feasible area reduction technique for solving CEED problems. The basic principle of this technique is to spread number of candidates on a feasible area, S0 which is formed by generator limits from n generator units and the best candidate is determined. S0 is reduced and the process is repeated until a very small area is found, where the best candidate can be considered the solution. This technique is more accurate than other methods such as GM, ACO, PSO, JAYA Algorithm and WOA. The result provides cost savings without involving emission of GM, ACO, PSO, WOA and JAYA of 9.24%, 3.91%, 0.56%, 0.47% and 0.21% respectively, as well as when it involves emissions amounted to 21.28%, 16.09%, 5.52%, 5.31% and 5.04% respectively.Keywords: CEED, feasible area reduction, cost saving, optimal, accurate

Waste used oil SAE 10 can be used as a fuel mixture of hydrocarbons is done by mixing the used oil hydraulic SAE 10 with other fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel with the addition of a maximum percentage of less than 50%. this research tries to investigate exhaust emissions on diesel engines with hydraulic mixing used oil into diesel fuel with a mixture of different variations. The machine used is a four-stroke diesel engine with a maximum power of 4.4 kW. Be based testing has been done variations of a mixture of 5% and 10 % is still within the allowed limits.

Ainsi que l'a souligne Feridun Emecen, leur pouvoir etait contr6le de pres par le sultan regnant et particulierement limiti quand ils etaient mineurs. Peut-on pourtant voir en eux des sancakbori comme les autres ? On rappellera d'abord que leur qualite de sultan potentiel - marquee par la cour qui les entouraient dans un ceremonial reproduisant celui de la capitale, mais aussi par le fait qu'ils emettaient de veritables firmans portant leur tuğra - leur donnait une aura particuliere. On peut considerer qu'ils n'en tiraient qu'un pouvoir symbolique. Mais il ne faut pas sous-estimer le poids des symboles. L'etude des actes emis par les princes montre que leur influence debordait largement les limites de leurs sancak. Du reste on constate que les sujets ottomans se toumaient â l'occasion vers eux de preference, considerant â l'evidence qu'un firman de prince, s'il n'avait assurement pas la valeur d'un ordre portant la tuğra du sultan lui-meme, aurait un poids, une influence sans commune mesure avec un acte emis par un autre gouvemeur de province. Aim of this thesis is to design a technology of a flue gas desulphurization of fluidized bed boiler. Currently, the state of technology is not able to provide flue gas desulphurisation to required level. For this reason it is necessary to build additional device for the desulphurisation. Theoretical part of the thesis deals with the emission limits of sulphur dioxide, available methods of desulphurization and sorbents suitable for the desulfurization. In practical part conditioned dry sorption method is chosen for the specified source, technological and structural design for suggested desulphurization technology including design of all device is proposed. The thesis also includes a technology design and a 3D model.

In the specified large combustion plant, fuel with a large content of sulfur is burned. The current desulfurisation method is not able to meet the new emission limits, therefore it is necessary to design an adequate desulphurisation method. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis contains a description of the legislation related to emission limits for large combustion plants and an analysis of individual technological methods of desulphurization together with a description of the relevant sorbents. The practical part of the work contains a design of dry conditioned sorption with the using of a calcium-based sorbent. The basic technological and structural design is designed together with the spatial solution and dispositional solution of the whole technology.

This Master Thesis is about the Gasification of hammer-milled chipboard. The opening part is about general theory of bio-mass gasification and the gasification machines. Next there is a chapter about the products which are included in the gas after gasification and the methods, how to remove them from the gas. This thesis is about gasification legislative acts and novels too. The main body of the thesis is about the experimental gasification in Biofluid 100 machine. This machine is located in the Fakulty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno. There were the samples of gases and tars collected during the gasification. From this samples was made the analysis. Then the mass content BTEX, n-alkans and PAHs.According the process of experiments was set the procedure of gasification. Finally there was a evaluation of the chipboard gasification made.

The objective of the presented diploma thesis is reduction of nitrogen oxides from the flue gas stream on catalyst under non-standart conditions. Emphasis is places on the description of selected pollutants in flue gas (especially nitrogen oxides), legislative requirements for air protection and technologies for removal of nitrogen oxides, expecially methods of selective catalytic and non-catalytic reduction. The practical part is devoted to the reduction of nitrogen oxides by selective catalytic reduction on a pilot plant INTEQ II in the laboratory NETME Center. The subject of interest is the determination of the NOx reduction efficiency depend on the temperature for selected catalyst. The end of the practical part pursues with comparison of measurement results and their evaluation.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with selected abatement techniques of nitrogen oxides (NOx) developed for large combustion plants. The first part describes selected NOx, their properties and explains the formation during combustion. Furthermore, there is an analysis of current legal legislation regulating the issue of emission limits. The third part presents selected primary and secondary measures that are widely used. The emphasis is placed on the description of selective catalytic (SCR) and non-catalytic reduction (SNCR). Finally, the basic design of these technologies for model combustion equipment is performed. The consumption of reducing medium and the volume of the catalyst for the mentioned techniques are calculated here. The estimate of selected operating and investment costs is a part of the basic scheme.

Abstract:
The main topic of this thesis is a catalytic oxidation which belongs to a group of modern technologies for removing emission of CO and VOC from waste air. In the introduction of this thesis, the basic concepts are defined. Further the legislative requirements associated with VOC emissions, emission limits and conditions are summarized. Described destructive and non-destructive methods for removing VOCs from waste gases are also briefly described. Increased attention is paid to the catalytic oxidation as the main theme of the thesis. It was searched for industrial applications where the catalytic oxidation is used. Another chapter is devoted to the theoretical analysis of kinetics of catalytic oxidation reactions. Firstly, the basic types of reactors are described and also material balance and reaction rate for the isothermal and adiabatic reactor. In the experimental part results of performed kinetic measurements on a pilot unit for catalytic commonly used organic solvents (VOCs) using commercially available catalysts were summarized. Pre-exponential factors and activation energies for sprinkling catalysts EnviCat VOC-5565 and EnviCat 55068 for substances ethanol, toluene and acetone were determined. "Light-off" curves for these substances and methane were measured and on sprinkled catalyst EnviCat 55068 and on monolithic catalyst Purelyst PH-304.

This master’s thesis discusses the impact of air traffic on our environment. The fuels combustion, the conditions necessary for realization of air traffic, or the situations resulting from it, such as aircraft maintenance, noise, emergencies, etc., have a negative impact on not only on the environment, but also on health and comfort of people, as well as flora and fauna, exposed to these conditions. Apart from the air traffic impacts on our environment mentioned above, the thesis also describes especially the possibilities of their reduction and companies dealing with them.
