The universities implemented virtual support and tutorial programs to reduce repetition and dropout rates during Covid-19. Teacher-student accompaniment schemes have been documented for the most part, but little has been said about other modalities such as peer accompaniment. Under this scenario, an exploratory design was aimed to identify the types of educational assistance deployed during the pandemic within a peer tutoring program at a Mexican university. This paper takes the rhyme analysis of the famous poem Pulling up the Silver Bottle from the Bottom of the Well in Bo Juyis New Yuefu as an example, discussing three important issues in the study of Bo Juyi’s New Yuefu poetic form: 1) put forward five differences between Bo Juyi’s New Yuefu and traditional Yuefu; 2) put forward “the view that rhyme and passage are closely related” and discusse the characteristics of rhyme segment, which reflects the plot structure of the poem and is highly consistent with the music segment.
