This research addresses the question of how emotional engagement mediates the relationship between perceived authenticity—objective, constructive, and existential—and tourist satisfaction at cultural festivals. While previous studies have explored the impact of authenticity on satisfaction, few have examined the psychological mechanisms underlying this relationship, particularly in the context of developing countries like Vietnam. The study aims to bridge this gap by investigating the role of emotional engagement as a mediator, emphasizing the importance of tourists’ personal and emotional con

Debates in the study of public heritage are rooted in the field’s inherently interdisciplinary nature. Heritage is about both the past and the present; about tangible objects and intangible myths; about individuals, groups, institutions, and nations. Cutting through these challenges requires approaching heritage as the emergent product of dense interaction between diverse systems that operate on multiple levels of analysis. Abstract:
Based on the material of V. Nabokov's fiction, a linguistic analysis of the functional role of metaphor and comparison in the verbalization of the concept of "emigrant" is carried out. Despite their proximity, the ways of implementing these tropes in the texts of the novels are carried out in different ways. It is concluded that the presence of metaphorical formations and comparisons makes it possible to convey with greater efficiency and emotional and expressive authenticity the writer's intention and his subjective positive or negative attitude to the depicted.
