Full textThis research is based on the study of the relationship between gender diversity and the financial performance of the largest companies in the private and non-financial sectors of Peru. The percentage of participation and the presence of the women in the board of directors are shown, the financial performance is collected and the relationship of these two variables are evaluated. The study use a quantitative approach because the process is sequential and probative and the design is non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional. In recent years, gender diversity has benefited not only society but also companies. Several studies in Latin America have shown the importance of women within organizations, but are more focused on the qualities and attitudes that contribute in the teams for decision making. It has also been found that the greater diversity of gender in the teams combines different points of view, which in turn generates a better business performance. There is a debate among those who indicate that they are in favor of gender diversity because they are the right ones and others who approve them because it increases financial performance, an understanding of the relationship that may exist between both variables would constitute an important contribution both to public policy and for corporate governance. Therefore, the present research aimed to study and identify if there is a relationship between gender diversity and financial performance. With a confidence level of 95%, the results show that there is a significant relationship between the presence of women in the board of directors and sales in the companies under study. However, this relationship is negative. This result can be explained by the fact that women's participation in the strategic level of organizations is still low, therefore, a critical mass is not reached, which would make their point of view are considered in the boardroom

Full textThis research aims to describe how executive women who work in private companies from Lima Metropolitan Area tend to life-work balance and how this tendency is presented in the different areas of women’s life This is a quantitative, descriptive and non-experimental transactional research done in this study which uses the survey instrument, adapted from the study of life-work balance of women managers from Caracas that was written by Salgado (2011) and it was designed to measure nine dimensions of women´s life. These dimensions will give information about the tendency to achieve life-work balance of executive women. The study was applied in a sample of 227 executive women of Lima. This also applied to women who hold high-ranking posts, senior posts or department heads form private enterprises. The results or research conclude that executive women tend to balance in the physical, familiar and conciliation dimensions. The strategies that use the majority of executives to achieve a tendency into balance are: to assist to medical controls, home administration, to get support from a family member or a third person in order to take care their children or depended people, to give time in order to take care the children and to manage the access to free days because family reasons. However, this study also identified that in the labour and conciliatory policies the tendency of balance can´t be determined. The more relevant items or factors in which improvements must be done are: to work eight hours per day, to ask permissions to the companies in order to work more frequently at home, to require to the companies additional employment benefits besides the obligations established in corporate law

Full textIntroduction: Food modernization has led to greater availability of industrialized foods, and a lower preference for healthier foods. This affects the feeding of preschoolers through lunch boxes prepared at home. Objective: To evaluate the nutritional contribution according to the type of lunch boxes in four private educational institutions of the district of San Juan de Miraflores, located in Lima, Peru. Methods: Analytical cross-sectional study. A survey was made to the team preparing the lunch box. In addition, we inspected, weighed and took photographs of the food and the labels of the industrialized products. Its caloric use was determined using national and international composition tables, typifying the lunch boxes as an adequate basic and under the guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Peru (MINSA). For the statistical analysis of the descriptive test and the Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon test. Results: Of 183 people in charge of preparing the pre-school lunch box, 83.6% were mothers. Only 5.5% of the lunch boxes were classified as "basic low". Among the most popular foods found include bread, banana, egg, yogurt, cookies and cereals. The lunch boxes provide between 61 and 989 calories, the most suitable cleaning functions cover more protein. Finally, they cover 24% of the child's total caloric value and 8% fiber. Conclusions: Most of the hours went down. The most frequent is characterized by containing drink and / or not adequate complement, and you recommend that the educational and promotional strategies be considered in their formulation. These programs should involve whoever prepares the food, the preschool, the school and the community.

Full textAs a consequence of the favorable results obtained at a global and regional level on private participation in state assets, through privatization processes and concessions, the Peruvian State (Estado Peruano), from the decade of the nineties, made use of the mechanism of the Public-Private Partnerships (APP) to provide transport infrastructure for public use (ITUP). The results obtained in Peru in the period 1990 to 2017 were very important to provide state asset related to public transport infrastructure. In this way, through the APP, new infrastructure was created or the existing infrastructure was expanded in a way that, under the direct provision of the Peruvian State, through traditional public procurement (CPT), it was not possible to be carried out. However, there is still a significant transport infrastructure gap. The results of the development of APP for ITUP in Peru have come hand in hand with the recurrence of contractual renegotiations that have been presented in the contracts supervised by the Organismo Supervisor de la Inversión en Infraestructura de Transporte de Uso Público (Ositran) and materialized in addenda, a problem that leads to ask if the recurrence in contractual renegotiations is due to the fact that the Peruvian State has been adequately using the APP mechanism to execute these projects. To answer this question, in this work we conducted a qualitative evaluation of the ITUP contracts by Ositran, to determine if the mechanism of the APP was adequate for the concession contracts signed. For this we use the eligibility criteria of the APP projects, which the Peruvian State establishes, to qualify the thirty current concession contracts, which are related to a renegotiation indicator. Subsequently, it is determined that the Peruvian State, in the period 1990 to 2017, has been adequately using the mechanism of APP in the provision of ITUP, and as a result of the relationships and trends that result from the renegotiations and the results of the qualitative evaluation, relevant results are identified. The research culminates by presenting a set of conclusions and recommendations.

Full textThe situation of the irrigation infrastructure in Peru is deficient, despite its relevance for the diversification of crops, articulation to markets, food security and the improvement of the living conditions of farmers. Reports show that surface under irrigation have increased; however, some agricultural areas where the population is predominantly poor and agriculture is the main economic activity, do not yet access to this type of infrastructure. In addition, the shortcomings and slowness in the implementation of the expenditure of the projects in this sector are also added. Therefore, given the importance of irrigation infrastructure, attention is directed towards private investment modalities such as Works for Taxes and Public-Private Partnerships, as alternatives to traditional public investment. This research aims to identify the impact on agricultural productive development (increase production per hectare) and on the living conditions of farmers (access to health and education services) of the use of investment mechanisms with private participation in the provision of irrigation infrastructure. For this purpose, two irrigation projects are used; the first is Quia and Rinrin Pampa carried out by Works for Taxes modality, and Olmos, by Public- Private Partnerships. The study will use data from the National Agricultural Survey and the National Household Survey for 2015 and 2018. Additionally, the methodologies of matching and differences in differences.

Full textThis research seeks to analyze and identify the factors that determine the salary difference between men and women in leadership positions: managers and directors in Lima, considering the state policy for pay equality by sex, in Metropolitan Lima in the period between 2007- 2016. The present study is relevant because it aims to show the status of a problematic situation for female managers and directors that has been little analyzed and described in academic publications. The study is cross-correlational. The quantitative techniques used are the measurement instruments of the surveys prepared by the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI), the National Household Survey (ENAHO) and the Permanent Employment Survey (EPE). Specifically, the analysis plan includes the review and description of the correlations between income and variables such as years of experience, age, educational level and hours of work based on the historical results that EPE shows for the period from 2007 to 2016. Based on this, proceed to the analysis of the 2016 case of ENAHO regarding the variables of years of experience, age, educational level and hours of work as well as family burden and marital status. The results of the research deny the hypothesis that, for managers and directors in Lima 2016, under a gender analysis, there is a direct relationship between income and their education, hours of work, years of experience; rather, it has as its motive a cause that is not explained by objective factors, which highlights the current inade.

Full textHay poco conocimiento acerca de cómo las estructuras informales de poder han influenciado el gobierno corporativo y el comportamiento organizacional en América Latina. Los directores de las empresas tienden a establecer mecanismos informales de control e influencia, creando vínculos con otras empresas, formando parte de sus directorios. Estas conexiones corporativas se llaman Interlocking Directorates (IDs). Tratando de adaptarse al entorno y a los cambios, las empresas crean IDs por diferentes razones. Como resultado, los agentes de negocios desarrollan estructuras nacionales de poder únicas. Este estudio está enfocado en una extensa revisión de literatura de IDs, analizando la estructura de la red corporativa peruana de IDs y su evolución a través de cuatro períodos de análisis: 2000, 2005, 2010, y 2015. La muestra incluye 5,591 registros (sillas de directorio), 2,689 directores, y 298 empresas diferentes distribuidas en los cuatro períodos mencionados previamente. El estudio usa medidas de centralidad, UCINET 6.0, y NetDraw para analizar la estructura principal de la red corporativa peruana y sus participantes. Los hallazgos principales del estudio sugieren la existencia de una red corporativa peruana de grandes empresas en evolución, conectadas a través de IDs. Adicionalmente, los resultados de la investigación proveen evidencia que esta red corporativa peruana sería resiliente a las crisis económicas globales, mientras es también más sensitiva a las crisis políticas locales. Otros hallazgos importantes sugieren que sus participantes cambian de rol en el tiempo, y que el proceso de privatización iniciado en los años 90 permite el crecimiento de una élite de negocios peruana conformada por directores. Finalmente, se proponen caminos para futuras investigaciones.

Full textDescribe the personal and professional profile of generations Y and Z, especially the students who recently graduated from Lima’s universities that were born between 1992 and 1998. Also we want to know if the organizations are willing to establish new policies to retain this talent according to the characteristics and labor expectations of these generations. Our thesis has been developed from information obtained in different studies related to generations Y and Z, not only in Peru but also worldwide, besides bibliographic information about managing human resource. Investigational tools were used in the beginning with a group of students from Engineering and Administrative careers from a private university in Lima which has more than 90 years in the educational field also questioning three companies that hire students and finally to recent graduates from this university. However, during the first interview we discovered a very important factor in our thesis; that being because of social economical differences there are two different kinds of millennial in Perú. Therefore, we extend our study to students from a private university from northern part of Lima; this institution was founded in a different province in Perú with more than 20 years in the educational field. The conclusions that were drawn through our research allowed us to give recommendations that will increase the level of employability in the students while also by improving the politics within the human resources department that is responsible for retaining the talent in the companies.

Full textThe objective of this research work is to analyze the business management of companies in the plastics industry that have incorporated recyclers associations into their value chain and know the benefits obtained by both parties. In the first chapter, the theoretical framework for the development of research will be announced, touching on topics on the plastic industry, recycling, and the importance of associations of waste pickers, concept on business management and the importance of the chain of value in private companies in the plastic industry. Then, in the second chapter, the research methodology will be carried out, making known the main points in the approach, context, sample, design and procedure of the investigation. On the other hand, in the third chapter, the result of the investigation will be presented, through real information of the actors involved, to reach the proposed objectives. In the fourth chapter, the findings, barriers and gaps of our work research process will be presented. Finally, the fifth chapter will give way to conclusions and recommendations.

Full textLa tesi ha lo scopo di studiare la partecipazione dello Stato come azionista delle società che non fanno parte della Pubblica Amministrazione. Parte dal fatto che lo Stato ha un tecniche di coinvolgimento in cui una impresa statale è socio di una società privata e, come tale, esercita i suoi poteri per influenzare in qualche misura il funzionamento della società. Questo viene utilizzato sistematicamente per le istituzioni finanziarie di sviluppo (come BNDESPAR), è stato utilizzato nelle recenti concessioni aeroportuali, ed è ampiamente utilizzato per la diversificazione delle attività svolte dalle imprese statali (come Petrobras e Eletrobras). Queste aziende non sono parte della Pubblica Amministrazione, ma il socio statale si basa su strumenti aziendali per dirigere il comportamento della società per raggiungere determinati obiettivi pubbliche previsti dalla legge. La ricerca inizialmente analisa perché lo Stato agisce attraverso le organizzazioni imprenditoriali e come è il suo rapporto con gli individui in ambiente aziendale. In secondo luogo, è fatta una caratterizzazione più precisa di imprese pubbliche-private e della tecnica di partecipazione come un intervento statale nell\'economia. Essere esaminati poi i gol, gli impatti e i limiti di tale tecnica di intervento, il quadro giuridico per le imprese pubbliche-private e la questione della scelta del partner privato. Infine, la tesi analizza l\'uso dei patti parasociali e dei azioni speciali (golden shares) in aziende pubbliche-private. ISEG PERÚ S.A.C. is a company dedicated to the activities of provision of "Complementary Services" of Security and Private Surveillance, with operations in the main cities of Peru since 2009. Currently, due to the increase in citizen insecurity, customers have become more demanding when choosing a security and surveillance company. The demand for private security services has increased, proof of which are the complaints of crime that have increased in recent years, 70 % of companies invest in security agents. According to the context and the analysis made to ISEG PERÚ S.A.C., the company must grow and position itself in the country, and to achieve this it must apply actions focused on cost optimization, and associated with specific strategies and diversification, having to invest in physical infrastructure and technological, as well as improving the quality of the service and guaranteeing its sustainability over time. The methodology used is the Strategic Process raised by D'Alessio (2013) in his book The Strategic Process, management approach, which has a systemic and sequential development. It begins by presenting the current situation of the company, proceeding to analyze the external and internal situation of the company. With these data, the vision for the year 2024 is defined, together with its mission, from which the long-term objectives are derived. Then, the strategies to reach the vision are presented and the process of evaluation and strategic control is described. Finally, to ensure the successful implementation of the Strategic Plan, financial, client, internal process and learning indicators have been proposed, arranged in the Balanced Control Board, through which the progress will be measured in the execution of the defined short-term objectives, which will allow the achievement of the long-term objectives, and with it, achieve the vision of ISEG PERÚ S.A.C. to 2024.

Consequently security is manifested at different levels of society. Given its significance and understanding of the security and surveillance companies, it follows that they must ensure quality service. That's wave, that of the present investigation aims to identify whether companies in the sector of Safety and Security Management System Quality mayor UN have Quality Level compared to those who do not have SGC UN. Purpose of This Questionnaire was used TQM , which is an instrument that is answered using a Likert scale . This tool is based on measuring the Quality Management Based on nine key factors , child : (a ) senior management, ( b ) Quality Planning , ( c ) audit and evaluation , ( d ) design of the product, (e ) f management control Supplier Quality () and Process Improvement , ( g ) Education and Training, ( h ) Quality Circles , and ( i ) Approach to customer Satisfaction . The results obtained were consistent with those previously reported by other authors, as Benzaquen (2014), to show how having a QMS enables companies to raise their standards. All companies in the security sector and monitoring showed his best performance in the approach to customer satisfaction, showing that recognize the importance of properly serve them. However, all organizations in this sector should implement a Total Quality Management, since early planning stages and involving all employees in the process.

Full textEl presente documento de investigación ha tenido como objetivo, medir el nivel de cumplimiento de los factores de éxito de la Administración de la Calidad Total [TQM] del sector seguridad privada en Lima Metropolitana e identificar si existe una relación positiva entre las empresas que hayan implementado un Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad [SGC] basado en el ISO 9001 del sector seguridad privada en Lima Metropolitana. Para ello, se utilizó la metodología de los nueve factores del TQM propuesta por Benzaquen (2013), plasmándose de manera aplicativa en la realización de una encuesta. El estudio analizó 35 empresas de seguridad privada, con el objetivo de establecer una comparación entre empresas con SGC basado en el ISO 9001 y las que no tienen. Los resultados obtenidos dieron como resultado un nivel de TQM de 4.005 y permiten mostrar el nivel de cumplimiento de los factores de éxito del TQM en la gestión de calidad del sector seguridad privada en Lima Metropolitana así como identificar una relación positiva en un mayor nivel de calidad entre las empresas que hayan implementado un SGC basado en el ISO 9001 del sector seguridad privada en Lima Metropolitana
This research paper has aimed to measure the level of compliance of the success factors of the Total Quality Management [TQM] the private security sector in Lima Metropolitana and identify if there is a positive relationship between the companies that have implemented a System Quality Management [SGC] based on ISO 9001 the private security sector in Lima Metropolitana. To do this, the methodology of the nine factors TQM given by Benzaquen (2013) and reflected applicative way of conducting a survey was used. The study analyzed 35 private security companies, with the aim of establishing a comparison between companies with SGC based on ISO 9001 and those without. The results yielded a level of 4,005 and allow TQM show the level of compliance of the success factors of TQM in quality management of private security sector in Lima Metropolitana and identify a positive relationship to a higher level of quality among the companies that have implemented a SGC based on ISO 9001 the private security sector in Lima Metropolitana

Full textThe goal of this work is to determine the economic value of the company ‘Luz del Sur S.A.A.’ through the discounted cash-flow methodology ; this company is dedicated to the commercialization and generation of energy. Among the main assumptions used in this valuation, is the increase of revenues based on the growth of energy demand for the central area of Peru, projected by the ‘Comité de Operación Económica del Sistema Interconectado Nacional’ – COES, GDP and the price of energy; as well as estimations of expenses and investments of ‘Luz del Sur S.A.A.’ This greater generation of income, with the issuance of new debt, would cover the need for investment considering the development of the new project that was awarded to them "Majes Siguas II". This valuation has used information from its financial statements as of December 31st, 2016 taken from the ‘Superintendencia de Mercados y Valores’ web page as well as public information from Osinerming, COES, SBS, BCRP, Minem, annual reports of ‘Luz del Sur S.A.A.’ and use of tools such as Damodaran and Crystal Ball software, having considered a 10-year projection period, a perpetuity with a growth rate of 4.73% and a discount rate (WACC) of 6.00%. The results of this valuation show a fundamental equity value of S/ 7,742 million, higher than the market value as of September 2016 (S/ 5,843 million). In terms of stock values, according to our results, the fundamental value is S/ 15.90, higher than the share price published on the ‘Bolsa de Valores de Lima’ –BVL web page as of December 2017 (S / 12). It would be a good opportunity to invest in the company through shares.

Full textEl presente estudio de investigación es la primera aproximación que se realizó en el sector de seguridad privada en la ciudad de Lima, teniendo como objetivo contrastar y determinar las diferencias existentes entre las empresas del sector, de quienes cuentan con un sistema de gestión de calidad versus las empresas de este sector que no cuentan con un sistema de gestión, en tal sentido, se consideró los nueve factores de la gestión de la calidad considerados en el estudio de la ISO 9001 y la TQM realizado por Benzaquen (2013). La investigación es de tipo cuantitativo y transeccional, donde se utilizó como herramienta de medición la encuesta de calidad, en donde se consideró los nueve factores de Benzaquen (2013), y se planteó como hipótesis que las empresas del sector de seguridad privada en la región de Lima que cuentan con un sistema de gestión de calidad, tienen diferencias significativas en los factores de calidad de aquellas empresas que no cuentan con un sistema de gestión de calidad (μB), de acuerdo al modelo propuesto, obteniendo como resultado final que los factores evaluados superan el valor mínimo para considerar como aceptable y confiable luego de realizar la prueba de Alfa de Crobanch; finalmente, para analizar la información obtenida se realizaron diferentes pruebas estadísticas, sin embargo, las pruebas paramétricas nos sirvió para para determinar la verdadera relación entre las empresas de este sector, obteniendo como resultado final en que las empresas que presentan un sistema de gestión de calidad muestran mayores de niveles de calidad en los nueve factores considerados
The present thesis illustrates the analysis in the significance of quality from companies belonging to the private security sector in the the city of Lima and aims to compare and determine the key differences between the aforementioned companies which have a quality management system versus other companies belonging to different sectors which in turn do not have a management system in this regard, the nine factors of quality management considered in the study of ISO 9001 and TQM are considered by Benzaquen (2013). The research is quantitative and transactional, used as a measurement tool in the quality survey, where the nine factors of Benzaquen (2013) were considered, and it has been hypothesized that the companies from the private security sector in the region of Lima that have a Quality Management System, shows significant differences in factors of quality with companies that do not have a Quality Management System (μB), according to the proposed model, the factors evaluated exceeds the minimum value to be considered acceptable and reliable after the Alpha testing of Crobanch; finally in order to analyze the information obtained, different statistical tests were conducted, however, the parametric tests helped us to determine the true relationship between the companies in this sector, obtaining a final result which demonstrates that companies having a system of quality management show higher levels of quality in the nine factors that were considered

Full textThis research collected information on levels of compliance with the nine factors of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the Subsector: Private Early Childhood Education in the province of Cusco. For this purpose, an analysis of four quality management systems applied in the world that included the model of Total Quality Management (TQM) was performed. The instrument used for data collection was the questionnaire TQM George B. Benzaquén De Las Casas, which was applied to 94 directors or owners of private educational institutions of initial level of the province of Cusco, and which comprised eight general questions and 35 statements on a scale of five points Likert understood factors: top management, quality planning, audit and evaluation of the quality, product design, quality management vendor, process control and improvement, education and training circles of quality and focus on customer satisfaction. The design of this study was a quantitative approach, descriptive (without assumption) scope, and transactional design as part of their study methodology. The results threw means higher compliance (91%), which meant that educational institutions surveyed apply the TQM factors, but empirically, while it should be mentioned that the sample considered educational institutions with fewer than 150 students, so that the perception in developing the questionnaire is subjective in its assessment of the Subsector.

Full textThe main objective of this research was to study the relationship between engagement and labor satisfaction in operators of a private processing and distribution company of glass and aluminum in Lima. The sample consisted of 100 males with an average age of 30 years, who were given the Engagement Questionnaire UWES 17 (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2003) and the Labor Satisfaction Questionnaire (Chiang, Gomez & Salazar, 2014). The instruments had acceptable psychometric properties in the studied sample. Likewise, the study of main components of UWES 17 reported a KMO of .80 and in Bartlett's Test of Sphericity a highly significant result was obtained, X2 (136) = 623.81 (p <.001), while the internal consistency had an alpha value of Cronbach .84. In the case of the Labor Satisfaction questionnaire, a KMO equal to .81 is shown, with a highly significant Bartlett Sphericity Test, X2 (861) = 2714.67 (p <.001) and an internal consistency with the alpha value of Cronbach .95. Through a correlational analysis, the positive relationship (r = .30, p <.01) among the studied variables was verified, which coincides with what was hypothesized in this study.

Levels of compliance of companies with a program of quality management for enterprises without quality program under review. Also, the relationship between the factors of total quality management to the principles of ISO 9001-2005 was analyzed. This research used the methodological design of Benzaquén (2014) which provides a study on the impact of having a Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 certification in peruvian companies based on nine factors of success for measuring implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM): senior management, quality planning, audit and evaluation of quality, product design, quality management provider, control and process improvement, education and training, quality circles and focus on customer satisfaction. The results of total quality factors show grades above 3.82 in schools that have some quality programs, the rating of 3.34 in companies that do not have any programs of quality and grade of 3.45 for the total number of companies, showing clear evidence of business management practices total quality in private schools in initial Huancayo. All total quality factors are different regarding whether companies have some quality program compared to those who do not have the said program. The implementation of quality programs contributes best total quality practices of companies in the initial schools in the city of Huancayo.

Full textThe present research seeks to determine the correlation between the variables Organizational Support Perceived and Organizational Commitment in a private institution in Lima. A representative sample of 135 telephone advisors from a Telecommunications company was used, which was made up of 56% of women and 44% of men, the average age of both sexes was 24 years of age, 73% was born in Lima, 26% in province and 1% abroad. Likewise, the Eisenberger Perceived Organizational Support scale (1986) and the Organizational Commitment scale of Meyer and Allen (1991) were used. In this investigation it was concluded that the perceived organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive relationship. The permanence of a collaborator in the company will depend on the positive perception of organizational support and compliance with the work. Likewise, if the person has a negative perception of organizational support, it is very likely that they feel dissatisfied with their work and, therefore, abandon their position.

Full textThe present investigation aims to clarify the relationship between the variables: perceived transformational leadership and autonomous motivation. The study was conducted with a sample of workers belonging to a private company in the retail sector at Lima. In order to comply with the purpose of the present investigation, the study used a sample of 149 dependent workers between 18 and 49 years old, who held operative positions. The sub-scale of transformational leadership developed by the authors Bass and Avolio (2000) and adapted in the Chilean context by Vega and Zavala (2004) and the scale of labor motivation in the version Gagné, Forest, Vansteenkiste, Crevier-Braud, Van Den Broeck, Aspeli y Wang (2012), adapted to spanish languagge. The results show a significant and positive correlation between the transformational leadership variable and the autonomous and intrinsec motivation variable.

Full textPPP (Public-Private Partnerships) are the modality currently used in Peru for the promotion of private investment with respect to the implementation of public works and the reduction of the infrastructure gap, in order to offer better technical, financial and management possibilities. The problem arises in the excessive use of addenda’s in the contracts, through additional ones that modify the terms of the original contract, obeying to opportunistic interests, with administrative structures and institutions. The main objective of this research is to develop a proposal of guidelines for the appropriate use of the addenda in the form of public-private partnership contracts, limiting the space that leads to opportunistic contractual modifications and controlling the actions of the actors involved in these renegotiations.

Full textThe present Business Operative Diagnosis, carried out at Prosegur Tecnología S.A., has the purpose of identifying improvement proposals that will allow the company to get greater competitiveness and profitability in the market. This analysis was carried out using management standards and data analysis tools through the development of the chapters that comprise it. The first chapter describes the core business, the structure of the company, in which market is developed, what are its characteristics as an organization, and what are its main products. The following chapters refer to their main planning and management strategies; from the location and sizing of the plant, planning, and design of plant, product, processes, added work, operations programming, logistics, costs, management and quality control, maintenance; to the supply chain deployment. Finally, the overall conclusions and recommendations are presented, as well as a summary of the main proposals and their effect on the financial statements, which with an investment of S/ 1’386, 500 will generate an estimated saving of S/. 4’059, 469 and a profit of S/ 2’672, 968 which will increase the organization's EBITDA from -2.7% to 8.1%. Given the market in which it operates, Prosegur Tecnología S.A. counts with great opportunities to lead this, as well as achieving a sustainable profitability over time.

Full textThe current crisis that the world is going through because of the pandemic has caused work styles to change radically, having to adapt and work remotely to maintain commercial dynamics and achieve the proposed objectives. The purpose of this research is to investigate how remote work helps to increase the commitment of collaborators and helps in fulfilling the mission of the company and it is important to demonstrate it because it will help the work to be perform efficiently and effectively for the benefit of the organization. This study was carried out on workers in the commercial area brokers of one of the most important companies in the insurance sector in Metropolitan Lima, in which quantitative and qualitative methods were used. As well, as a descriptive design to analyze the level of commitment through surveys and an exploratory design, using interviews to assess whether remote work increases the workers’ engagement. The study explains that 68% of those surveyed, remote work has allowed them to increase their commitment to the organization, as well as consider remote work in the same percentage as a competitive tool for companies. On the other hand, it is important to note that, according to the information obtained in the research process, one of the most important aspects for the organization is the organizational culture, which is part of the DNA of all workers. These results are potentially generalizable and show that remote work applied abruptly as it has carried out, continues to keep employees engaged and that, if companies wish to implement it as a form of work in the future, it must be done gradually and with defined protocols.

In this context, the implication of a correct communication management draws important results in a social attendance, since this helps to consolidate a closeness with the public of interest and maintain a dialogue according to the needs and / or specific requirements of the actors. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the role of communication in the management of social responsibility given through the program of 'Technical and Entrepreneurial Training', which is shown as the most influential and representative social program of this cement company. For this, a qualitative and quantitative research was carried out, which consists of five chapters that identify the tools, the interaction between the actors and the perception and impact of the recipients in order to consider improvement and development actions for their lives.
