We report a case of metastatic endometrial carcinoma of the neck. A patient with a past medical history of squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx, breast carcinoma and endometrial carcinoma presented with a neck mass. Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) showed this to be a poorly differentiated carcinoma with squamoid features and thus a potentially curative neck dissection was performed. Histology of the mass showed a clear cell endometrial carcinoma. Metastatic gynacecological malignancies to the head and neck are rare and this is the first reported case of metastatic endometrial carcinoma

We report a case of papillary adenocarcinoma of uterus which developed a recurrence over the scar of surgery. The patient initially underwent surgery followed by adjuvant chemoradiotherapy for her stage II disease. Fine needle aspiration cytology from this swelling revealed metastatic papillary adenocarcinoma similar to previous histopathology. Abstract:
Background: Sarcomas rarely involve body cavity fluids, accounting for less than 5% of all malignant effusions. Most existing literature describes the cytomorphologic features of sarcomas in the setting of fine-needle aspiration and/or touch preparations of targeted tissue biopsies. The objective of this study was to investigate the morphologic spectrum displayed by metastatic sarcomas in body cavity fluid specimens. Methods: The pathology database at our institution was searched for sarcoma cases involving pleural, pericardial, and peritoneal fluids between 1994 and 2019. Their clinical prese

A 2 year intact, phenotypically female Labrador Retriever dog was presented for evaluation of persistent white vaginal discharge after a perceived normal estrous cycle. On repeat evaluations, the dog was determined to be in persistent cytologic estrus ~ for 2 months. Abdominal ultrasonography revealed suspected bilateral ovarian cysts and cystic endometrial hyperplasia. After ultrasound-guided cystic aspiration, the dog was treated with a 3 day course of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). Four months after initial treatment, the dog developed behavioral and physical signs of estrus that la

ABSTRACTLymphomatoid granulomatosis (LYG) is a rare EBV‐driven, extra‐nodal, angiocentric, and angio‐destructive lymphoproliferative disorder. The lungs are the most common site of involvement. We describe a case of LYG where the diagnosis was established based on fine needle aspiration. The case is of a 58‐year‐old female with a history of endometrial carcinoma, who presented with right upper lobe and right middle lobe pulmonary nodules which were identified on a surveillance computed tomography (CT) scan of the chest. The patient underwent an endobronchial ultrasound‐guided fine needle aspir

Abstract:
Background: Although malignant mammary alteration is highly studied in canine, data about benign lesions is sparse. A study reported 27.1% of benign alteration, being 5.9% cystadenomas. It is a unique or multiple lesion, characterized by lined and well differentiated epithelial cells. The alteration is well recognized in women, opposite to canines, which present cysts or not, and it is more frequent in ovary, kidney, salivary gland, thyroid, pancreas and mammary gland. Related to cysts, ultrasonography and cytological exams help the diagnosis and treatment. In this way, this report presents th
