Abstract:
There are six different classes of endomorphisms for a graph. The sets of these endomorphisms always form a chain under the inclusion of sets. For a more systematic treatment of different endomorphisms, Böttcher and Knauer proposed the concepts of the endomorphism type and the endomorphism spectrum of a graph in 1992. In this paper, we studied endomorphism types and endomorphism spectra of double fan graphs.

Abstract:
This paper studies the growths of endomorphisms of finitely generated semigroups. The growth is a certain dynamical characteristic describing how iterations of the endomorphism ‘stretch’ balls in the Cayley graph of the semigroup. We make a detailed study of the relation of the growth of an endomorphism of a finitely generated semigroup and the growth of the restrictions of the endomorphism to finitely generated invariant subsemigroups. We also study the possible values endomorphism growths can attain. We show the role of linear algebra in calculating the growths of endomorphisms of homogeneou

We establish new results concerning endomorphisms of a finite chain, if the cardinality of the image of such endomorphism is no more than some fixed number. The semiring of all such endomorphisms can be seen as a simplex whose vertices are the constant endomorphisms. We explore the properties of these simplices.

We study algebra endomorphisms and derivations of some localized down-up algebras A𝕊(r + s, -rs). First, we determine all the algebra endomorphisms of A𝕊(r + s, -rs) under some conditions on r and s. We show that each algebra endomorphism of A𝕊(r + s, -rs) is an algebra automorphism if rmsn = 1 implies m = n = 0. When r = s-1 = q is not a root of unity, we give a criterion for an algebra endomorphism of A𝕊(r + s, -rs) to be an algebra automorphism. In either case, we are able to determine the algebra automorphism group for A𝕊(r + s, -rs). We also show that each surjective algebra endomorphism

In this work, we investigate methods for computing explicitly with homomorphisms (and particularly endomorphisms) of Jacobian varieties of algebraic curves. Our principal tool is the theory of correspondences, in which homomorphisms of Jacobians are represented by divisors on products of curves. We give families of hyperelliptic curves of genus three, five, six, seven, ten and fifteen whose Jacobians have explicit isogenies (given in terms of correspondences) to other hyperelliptic Jacobians. We describe several families of hyperelliptic curves whose Jacobians hav

Birational morphisms f: X $ to$ Y of nonsingular surfaces are studied first. Properties of the surfaces X and Y are shown to be related to certain numerical data extracted from the configuration of "missing curves" of f, that is, the curves in Y whose generic point is not in f (X). These results are then applied to the problem of decomposing birational endomorphisms of the plane into a succession of irreducible ones.
A graph-theoretic machinery is developed to keep track of the desingularization of the divisors at infinity of the plane. That machinery is then used to investigate the problem
