Abstract:
In this paper influence of greenhouses' structure was estimated for four different double plastic covered greenhouses in winter lettuce production. Plastic coverings are introduced as mean of making this kind of plant production more efficient. Also, as a mean of lowering energy consumption, the tunnel structures are proposed. Four different double plastic covered greenhouses were used for energy analysis. Two tunnel types, 9 x 58m and 8 x 25m covered with double PE folia, and two gutter connected plastic covered greenhouses. One greenhouse is 2 x 7 m wide and 39 m long and the other 20 x 6.4 m wide and 42 m long. Results have shown the lowest energy consumption for gutter connected greenhouses. Energy out/in ratio was also higher in gutter connected greenhouse. Highest energy consumption was obtained in tunnel greenhouse 8 x 25m.

Abstract:
Abstract When talking about blockchain technology in academia, business, and society, frequently generalizations are still heared about its – supposedly inherent – enormous energy consumption. This perception inevitably raises concerns about the further adoption of blockchain technology, a fact that inhibits rapid uptake of what is widely considered to be a groundbreaking and disruptive innovation. However, blockchain technology is far from homogeneous, meaning that blanket statements about its energy consumption should be reviewed with care. The article is meant to bring clarity to the topic in a holistic fashion, looking beyond claims regarding the energy consumption of Bitcoin, which have, so far, dominated the discussion.

Abstract:
Energy Consumption Modeling of Processes in the Automated Manufacturing Systems High-tech manufacturing such as machining at high speeds, laser, electrical discharge machining are highly energy intensive. Automation of assistant processes such as transport, storage, quality control also causes increasing of energy consumption. In this context, important is estimating and minimize the volume used energy. The main contribution of paper is the evaluation method of energy production processes in automated production systems, based on the equation energy formulation. Simple calculation energy consumption example was also presented for elementary transport operations in a high storage depot. Implantation this method enables rating power consumption of manufacturing process on design stage where used are technical subsystems such as: machines, conveyors, manipulators etc. Designing processes with power rating consumption enable saving energy in manufacturing processes that is important for their economic efficiency.
