Due to the great power of the wind, the generation of electricity using ecologically clean technology is of great importance at present. Pictures taken from space show that the air ocean of the territory of the independent commonwealth states is constantly affected by the wind. Using it as an energy source, the idea of creating various wind power plants is appropriate. For this purpose, it is necessary to select suitable locations for wind use and collect relevant data for their description. For wind power plants, it will not be necessary to build new railways, extract fuel and transport it, e

Residential water heaters use a substantial amount of electrical energy and contribute to 25% of the energy usage in the residential sector. This raises concern for users in countries with flat rate electricity fees and where fossil fuels are used for electricity generation. Demand side management of tanked water heaters is well suited for energy-focused load reduction strategies. We propose a strategy for providing an electric water heater (EWH) with the optimal temperature planning to reduce the overall electrical energy usage while satisfying the comfort of the user. Although a coupling between cerebral energy consumption and neuronal activity was initially suggested over a hundred years ago, the exact relationship remains unclear. This thesis addresses four aspects of the energy supply to the brain. First, blood flow is increased to areas where neurons are more active, and it is this blood flow increase which forms the basis of functional imaging techniques. In contrast to the common assumption that blood flow regulation occurs solely at the arteriole level, I have demonstrated experimentally that blood flow control, mediated by pericytes, also occurs in

In this study, the inability to in a future meet the electricity demand and the urge to change the consumption behavior considered. In a smart grid context there are several possible ways to do this. Means include ways to increase the consumer’s awareness, add energy storages or build smarter homes which can control the appliances. To be able to implement these, indications on how the future consumption will be could be useful. Therefore we look further into how a framework for short-term consumption predictions can be created using electricity consumption data in relation to external factors.

Abstract:
In recent GTAP data releases, in transforming energy volumes data from the IEA extended energy balances to an input-output format, we record inflows into the energy balances flow "international marine bunkers" as exports, but record no corresponding imports. Here, we revise the energy module to balance the trade flows by recording international marine bunker usage as imports into the country of residence of the ship operator, and as usage by that country’s transport industry. We allocate usage across countries in proportion to the money value of their water transport services exports.
