The article substantiates the relevance of processing thermolabile materials into dried foods, as one of the alternative options for fresh fruits and vegetables. It is noted that drying, as a method of conservation, is characterized by high energy intensity and increased requirements for the quality and safety of the final product. The naturalness of the dried products and the environmental cleanliness of the process come to the fore. The criteria of quality and efficiency of the process are combined into a single task: increasing the efficiency of the drying process and creating energy-effici

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are an emerging technology that has the potential to transform the way agricultural farms operate. However, deploying WSNs in agricultural farms presents a unique set of challenges. Limited coverage area, power source availability, data collection and processing, environmental factors, cost, and integration with existing systems are some of the potential problems that need to be addressed when deploying WSNs in agricultural farms. Hence, in this work, we have proposed a method for increasing the lifetime of the sensor network which will help also help to reduce

Deep neural network (DNN) models are increasingly popular in edge video analytic applications. However, the computeintensive nature of DNN models pose challenges for energyefficient inference on resource-constrained edge devices. Most existing solutions focus on optimizing DNN inference latency and accuracy, often overlooking energy efficiency. They also fail to account for the varying complexity of video frames, leading to sub-optimal performance in edge video analytics. In this emerging mobile environment with increased data traffic and always-on applications, the limitations of battery technologies lead to drastically shorten recharging cycles of mobile devices. For mobile applications that can tolerate a moderate delay which account for a high proportion of global mobile traffic, a technique that postpones the data transmission to high-rate hotspots could effectively provide significant energy gains, which can be translated to increased battery life
