Abstract:
This paper presents an Enriched Black Hole (EBH) algorithm for solving reactive power flow problem. The Black Hole Algorithm starts with a preliminary population of contestant and for all iteration of the black hole algorithm, the most excellent candidate is favored to be the black hole, which followed by pulling further candidates around it, called stars. If a star move very close to the black hole, it will be consumed by the black hole and is vanished undyingly. In such a case, a new star - candidate solution is arbitrarily created and placed in the exploration space and starts a new search.

Abstract Intermediate-mass black holes (with ≥105 M ⊙) are promising candidates for the origin of supermassive black holes (with ∼109 M ⊙) in the early universe (redshift z ∼ 6). Chon & Omukai first pointed out direct collapse black hole (DCBH) formation in metal-enriched atomic-cooling halos (ACHs), which relaxes the DCBH formation criterion. On the other hand, Hirano et al. showed that magnetic effects promote DCBH formation in metal-free ACHs. We perform a set of magnetohydrodynamical simulations to investigate star formation in magnetized ACHs with metallicities Z/Z ⊙ = 0, 10−5, and 10

Abstract Hawking proposed that the Sun may harbor a primordial black hole (BH) whose accretion supplies some of the solar luminosity. Such an object would have formed within the first 1 s after the Big Bang with the mass of a moon or an asteroid. These light BHs are a candidate solution to the dark matter problem, and could grow to become stellar-mass BHs if captured by stars. Here we compute the evolution of stars having such a BH at their center. We find that such objects can be surprisingly long-lived, with the lightest BHs having no influence over stellar evolution, while more massive ones

Abstract Recent advances in numerical simulations of magnetically arrested accretion onto supermassive black holes have shed light on the formation and dynamics of magnetospheric current sheets near the black hole horizon. By considering the pair magnetization σ e in the upstream region and the mass accretion rate ṁ (in units of the Eddington mass accretion rate) as free parameters we estimate the strength of the magnetic field and develop analytical models, motivated by recent three-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations, to describe the populations of relativistic electrons and positrons (

ABSTRACT Direct collapse black hole (DCBH) formation with mass ≳105 M⊙ is a promising scenario for the origin of high-redshift supermassive black holes. It has usually been supposed that the DCBH can only form in the primordial gas since the metal enrichment enhances the cooling ability and causes the fragmentation into smaller pieces. What actually happens in such an environment, however, has not been explored in detail. Here, we study the impact of the metal enrichment on the clouds, conducting hydrodynamical simulations to follow the cloud evolution in cases with different degree of the met

Abstract Although stable neutron stars (NSs) can in principle exist down to masses M ns ≈ 0.1 M ⊙, standard models of stellar core-collapse predict a robust lower limit M ns ≳ 1.2 M ⊙, roughly commensurate with the Chandrasekhar mass M Ch of the progenitor’s iron core (electron fraction Y e ≈ 0.5). However, this limit may be circumvented in sufficiently dense neutron-rich environments (Y e < 0.5) for which M Ch ∝ Y e 2 is reduced to ≲1 M ⊙. Such physical conditions could arise in the black hole accretion disks formed from the collapse of rapidly rotating stars (“collapsars”), as a result of

AbstractThe aim of this research project is to investigate how fashion brands and their online communities begin a co-authoring process in fashion films. Since the early days, fashion market has always enriched its dreamlike imageries with garments and images [1], with the advent of internet, those dressed bodies could move, tell stories and spur deeper engagement. In fact, fashion films are the direct digital evolution of the static fashion magazine images. Transposed on the web, such images can now reach online brand communities who often start a debate on both the fashion film and the brand

Abstract As our studies in the contexts of the Schwarzschild and the Reissner-Nordstrom black-holes have shown, our understanding of the space times is deepened and enriched by analyzing the manner of their reaction to external perturbations. Since external perturbations can, in general, be represented by incident waves of different sorts, their study, in essence, reduces to one of the propagation of waves of the different sorts in the space-times of the black holes and of how, in particular, they are scattered and absorbed. While the problem, as thus formulated, has a physical base, its solut

Next, Lisa Dubay highlights the many strands of research at the intersection of health and housing.
