We study the transformation of maximally entangled states under the action of Lorentz transformations in a fully relativistic setting. By explicit calculation of the Wigner rotation, we describe the relativistic analog of the Bell states as viewed from two inertial frames moving with constant velocity with respect to each other. Though the finite dimensional matrices describing the Lorentz transformations are non-unitary, each single particle state of the entangled pair undergoes an effective, momentum dependent, local unitary rotation, thereby preserving the entanglement fidelity of the bipar

We present a theory of entanglement transformations of Gaussian pure states with local Gaussian operations and classical communication. This is the experimentally accessible set of operations that can be realized with optical elements such as beam splitters, phase shifts and squeezers, together with homodyne measurements. We provide a simple necessary and sufficient condition for the possibility to transform a pure bipartite Gaussian state into another one. We contrast our criterion with what is possible if general local operations are available.

Particle systems admit a variety of tensor product structures (TPSs) depending on the complete system of commuting observables chosen for the analysis. Different notions of entanglement are associated with these different TPSs. Global symmetry transformations and dynamical transformations factor into products of local unitary operators with respect to certain TPSs and not with respect to others. Symmetry-invariant and dynamical-invariant TPSs and corresponding measures of entanglement are defined for particle scattering systems.

For convenience, instead of using the superposition of momenta we use only two momentum eigenstates (p1 and p2) that are perpendicular to the Lorentz boost direction. Consequently, in 2D momentum subspace we show that the entanglement of spin and momentum in the moving frame depends on the angle between them. Entanglement is a special correlation of the quantum states of two or more particles. It is also a useful resource enabling us to complete tasks that cannot be done by classical means. As a result, the transformation of entangled states of distant particles by local means arose as an important problem in quantum information theory. In this thesis, we first review some of the studies done on the entanglement transformations. We also develop the necessary and sufficient conditions for the deterministic transformation of W-type states.

This chapter examines Whitman’s entanglement within the broader politics of labor relations in the mid-nineteenth century. Whitman is seen as thinking through an alternative figuration of Marx’s labor theory of value, with the various corporeal metaphors and formal experiments in his poetry serving as a counterpart to Marx’s gothic dystopian depictions of alienated labor. The laboring body becomes a conceptual balm in Whitman’s poetic imaginary, informing the dimensions of his alternative social vision. His own complicity in the fluctuating tensions of his laboring environment, embodied chiefly by the rising tensions between slavery and the expanding market, rescued his poetic vision from restating the reactionary vocational essentialisms that defined the popular labor movements of the 1850s. Ultimately, he articulated a politically subversive poetics that resisted contemporary fictions of racial purity, and along with it any transparent notion of free market exchange.

After a succinct overview of linear algebra and an introduction to complex Hilbert space, it investigates the correspondence between subspaces of Hilbert space and propositions, their logical structure, and how the pertinent probabilities are calculated. It discusses the mathematical representation of states, observables, and transformations, as well as the rules for calculating expectation values and uncertainties, and for updating states after a measurement. Particular attention is paid to two-level systems, or ‘qubits’, and the connection is made with experimental evidence about binary measurements. The properties of composite systems are discussed in detail, notably the phenomenon of entanglement. The chapter focuses on the developments since the early twentieth century and examines the musical roots and styles of the different types of nashīd that are known today. It offers a brief glimpse into traditional practices of nashīd (i.e. inshād) and suggests a categorisation for the different manifestations of modern nashīd, based on musical characteristics and functions. Abstract:
Quantum computing is a modern way of computing that is based on the science of quantum mechanics and its unbelievable phenomena. It is a beautiful combination of physics, mathematics, computer science and information theory. It provides high computational power, less energy consumption and exponential speed over classical computers by controlling the behavior of small physical objects i.e. microscopic particles like atoms, electrons, photons, etc. Here, we present an introduction to the fundamental concepts and some ideas of quantum computing. This paper starts with the origin of traditional computing and discusses all the improvements and transformations that have been done due to their limitations until now. Then it moves on to the basic working of quantum computing and the quantum properties it follows like superposition, entanglement and interference. To understand the full potentials and challenges of a practical quantum computer that can be launched commercially, the paper covers the architecture, hardware, software, design, types and algorithms that are specifically required by the quantum computers. It uncovers the capability of quantum computers that can impact our lives in various viewpoints like cyber security, traffic optimization, medicines, artificial intelligence and many more. At last, we concluded all the importance, advantages and disadvantages of quantum computers. Small-scale quantum computers are being developed recently. This development is heading towards a great future due to their high potential capabilities and advancements in ongoing research. Before focusing on the significances of a general-purpose quantum computer and exploring the power of the new arising technology, it is better to review the origin, potentials, and limitations of the existing traditional computing. This information helps us in understanding the possible challenges in developing exotic and competitive technology. It will also give us an insight into the ongoing progress in this field.

Abstract:
Reflecting on the concerns of previous chapters, this section explores how post-Romantic poetics avow and disavow Romantic ideas about beauty, nature and the self in a bid to come to terms with life in all its ordinariness; with what Stevens plainly identifies as the state of things merely as they are. Ironically, those necessary fictions of the self and environment (the world of the human and nonhuman things) find themselves contradictorily embedded both in and beyond the fictive. Imaginative acts of self-dissolution signal an aesthetic critical distance between the self and nature to be illusory and the extent to which the self is inescapably mired in the fragility of natural process and perpetually aware of its own terminus in death. Accordingly, my coda evinces the British Romantic entanglements in the poetic thought of Emerson, Dickinson and Whitman, as well as Stevens’s complicated, and complicating, post-Romantic responses to those British and American Romantic models of self and nature that Stevens both imaginatively inherits and transforms.

Questions of genre and aesthetics, in particular the colour aesthetics of process films in early cinema as well as their colonialist ideology, are also addressed. This chapter draws on Toni Morrison’s novel Beloved to unsettle meanings of freedom, love, and subjectivity. It uses a decolonial political theological perspective that pivots on two paradoxical aspects of Christianity: its entanglement with the colonial anthropological deformation that Sylvia Wynter refers to as “Man” and its commitment to justice as social transformation inspired by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. In reading Morrison’s novel, Copeland leaves the reader without a tidy conclusion that returns to an affirmation of Christian tradition. Prioritizing black existential pain that pervades Morrison’s work, this chapter offers the most sacred identity of the human person, which it argues is realized in enfleshing love, as a site for unsettling modern/colonial anthropological distortions.
