Full textThe subject of this research is the dynamics of the young tennis player’s activity in return of service during entrainments and matches. These young tennis players aged 10-12 years old, are coaching by Tennis Brittany League. This research was conducted in collaboration with tennis coach in Brittany and three young players, during sport season. Fifteen interviews were analysed within the theoretical and methodological framework of « course of action ». To kinds of data were collected : (a) observing and recording data of entrainment and matches situations ; (b) young tennis player’s autoconfrontation data. The results present the course of action local dynamics. They describe the player concerns when returning services. Next, they highlight the knowledge mobilization/construction during different situation. They present young tennis players’ referential models, and a description of the knowledge mobilization/construction by actors in situation. The discussion makes a contribution to cognitive ergonomic of the sport actor activity. It studies the contributions, on the one hand, of the analysis of course of action’s young tennis player and knowledge about entrainment, competition and compare between entrainment/matches, on the other hand, the contributions of the study about course of action. Lastly, it suggests directions in the field of ways young sport training

Full textThe insulin treatment does not avoid long-term development of cardiomyopathy, regular physical activity is now offered as a complement to drug therapy of diabetes. Our primary aim was to determine long term respective effects of exercise training and insulin treatment on cardiac function with a focus on the β-adrenergic system and/or on the calcium intracellular regulatory system. In the long-term insulin treatment and exercise training were not able to decrease the troubles caused by diabetes on myocardial function. Our endurance training did not improve myocardial performance in our model of diabetic rats, furthermore bradycardia and the β-adrenergic desensitization induced by diabetes has been increase. Afterwards, we considered the effects of a possible synergy between long-term insulin treatment and exercise training on myocardial performance. Associated insulin treatment and exercise training are able to normalize contractile function. This additive effect is likely mediated by changes in the signaling pathway involving Ca2+ cycling proteins. Our works show the interest of a major bi-dimensional treatment - insulin treatment, physical activity - in the therapeutic management of patients with diabetes everyday. However, we highlighted importance of adequate physical activity to induce the expected benefits

Full textVirtual reality is a technology covering a large field of applications, among which are sports training and video games. In these domains, virtual reality techniques imply an interaction with moving virtual objects, or virtual objects to be set in movement. The contribution of the work presented in this report lies in the analysis of dynamic interaction in virtual environment, and more particularly during tasks implying the throw, the striking and the interception of moving objects. An original modelization is proposed. Besides, a structure of specific software cues, the objective of which is to facilitate the realization and the learning of dynamic tasks (that is implying moving objects or objects the human being has to set in movement), is presented. These software cues are then validated through experiments concerning the throw and the interception of ball, archery and tenpin bowling

Full text“Health” media omnipresence induces retired persons to remind of their responsibilities and to be activated in order to be recognized like “good healthy”. And so physical practice is presented by medical and social world like a solution. Nevertheless to avoid risk an adapted physical effort is advised. A questionnaire was distributed and interviews carried out within a group of physically active seniors. The aim of this research is to compare their amount of physical activity with that which is normally prescribed by the medical world. Results show that if the majority practises in order to stay « healthy », the majority also make an above-average physical effort. They call the seniors’ universality principle and the medical and social vision used to standardize their practice into question. So, whatever gender or socioeconomic category may be, these seniors put forth an effort that is longer and more intense than what is typically recommended. Fatigue and pain are no more considered risky but are proof of efficiency. At least seniors prefer counting on their body feelings to manage themselves their physical investment. By refusing this normalised practice, retired people make known that they are still in « good health » whereas the practice’ approval would show instead a negative evolution of their health
