Abstract:
The present work is composed by a comparative thermoeconomic analysisbetween two refrigeration systems: Vapor Compression CascadeRefrigeration System (VCCRS) and Integrated Refrigeration System byAbsorption and Vapor Compression (VCACRS). The thermoeconomicanalysis compares the systems under energy, exergy, economic andenvironmental aspects. The development of mathematical models for each ofthe systems is performed through the EES (Engineering Equation Solver)program. The optimized functions are exergy destruction and total cost rate(sum of cost rates of investment, operation, maintenance and enviromental)by minimizing these functions. The optimization method used is theweighted sum of the objectives, this can be achieved by assigning differentweights for each goal, then a new function that represents the linearrelationship between all the objectives is found. In present case the twoobjective functions are exergy destruction and total cost rate. Inmultiobjective optimization, the process of choosing among optimizedsolutions involves the definition of an equilibrium point, also called theideal point. In order to achieve a real solution of the minimum values ofthe described functions simultaneously one must determine which is thesmallest distance from the ideal point to the curve that defines theoptimized solutions. In the study the economical advantage of VCCRS inrelation to VCACRS was demonstrated. VCACRS has a cost 10.26% lowerthan VCCRS while VCCRS has a better exergetic efficiency, with itsdestruction of exergy 38.46% lower than VCACRS.

The main goal of this work was to show the necessity of implementing enviromental aspects into existing agricultural productivity theories. The authors presented the issues of integral productivity and balanced intensification. A new approach to existing measures of farm productivity was discussed as well. Productivity index including environmental aspects (so called Environmentally Adjusted Total Factor Productivity) was showed. European farming, formed by the Common Agricultural Policy, currently implements the ideas of intensification and balanced progress most effectively. At the same time, it is on the development path enabling convergence of these two ideas.

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to develop a new material which has high hydrogen storage capacity and hydrogen absorption/desorption rate. This material, which is based on cobalt powder onto which palladium was chemically deposited can be used in environmentally friendly energy generation processes, thus ensuring preventive protection of human health. Hydrogen absorption was investigated using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and by measuring hydrogen pressure under isothermal and non-isothermal conditions in a chamber containing either pure cobalt powder either cobalt powder onto which palladium was chemically deposited (Co-0.003 Pd). The mechanism of hydrogen absorption has been described. It was noticed that palladium catalyses hydrogen absorption by dissociating the adsorbed H2 molecules into H atoms more rapidly on its own atoms than on cobalt ones. The catalysis of dissociation of H2 molecules enabled hydrogen absorption into Co-0.003 Pd powder to occur at lower temperatures. The results of this study enable integration of technological and public health investigation in order to ensure preventive protection of human health through enviromental protection.

Abstract:
Recently, legal literature has given attention to the problems of innovative energy. Despite the negative consequences of the current global economic crisis, the ways out of it are in the mainstream of the country’s transition from the export of raw materials to the resource-innovative development with a qualitative renewal of the energy sector. These tasks are set in the strategic planning documents that determine the vector and prospects of energy, scientific and technological and other areas of development. Achievement of goals and long-term quality guidelines for the development of the energy sector on an innovative development path is associated, among other things, with alternative energy, the expansion of the use of renewable energy sources. The paper shows the possibilities and prospects of their use for small energy facilities, energy-deficient areas, and regions with decentralized energy supply. The advantages of using green technologies, renewable types of energy are manifested in energy conservation, energy security, reducing the negative impact on the environment, and solving environmental problems. The absence of a regulatory legal framework for the development of alternative energy is revealed; gaps in energy legislation in terms of innovative energy, stimulation of the introduction of innovative technologies, and the use of renewable energy sources are highlighted. The necessity of highlighting this direction in the energy strategy, other strategic documents in the field of environmental, economic development, energy efficiency and safety has been substantiated. The result of the study is new approaches to the formation and implementation of state policy, as well as the improvement of legislation in the field of innovative energy development.

Abstract:
In the present study we examined the impact of technology on the development of world energy in the world, as well as on the development of international energy relations. The important role of international cooperation in the field of energy technologies as a key factor in the development and global deployment of energy technologies in the industry. The most effective technology in the world of multilateral cooperation under the auspices of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and other international organizations. It allows the joint efforts of the countries concerned to develop new technologies, test them and implement in production. For Russia, it is very important, because at the moment our country is not only a leading exporter of energy resources, but also has a significant impact on global energy security. At the same time Russia's FEC requires urgent and serious modernization through the development and introduction of innovative technologies on the basis of the study of international experience. Therefore the question of modernization of Russian fuel and energy complex has an international character. One way to accelerate the process of modernization of the organization is a public-private partnership that will largely depend on the nature and possibilities of Russian energy diplomacy, given the geopolitical and economic realities in connection with the sanctions imposed by Western countries against our country.

Abstract:
In this research, we focus on covariate modelling to explore the interactions between industrial system and its enviroment in terms of the modelling fundamental characteristic — random and fuzzy uncertaity with an intention to decrease the fatal weakness of the modern dissection methodology. We extend the additive and multiplicative covariate models from these considering randomness alone into these considering both randomness and fuzziness in the sense as a mathematical extension to the existing covariate modelling. In terms of the form of logical function an engineering oriented fuzzy reliability model which could potentially count all the aspects associated with an operating system and its environment is proposed. Statistical estimation on the parameters of system fuzzy reliability is considered based on the general theory of the point processes. The impacts on the optimal plant maintenance from the engineering oriented fuzzy reliability modelling is also discussed. Finally we use an industrial example to illustrate the main theoretical developments.

Abstract:
The term "sustainable development" is based on the fundamental principle of improving human quality of life without destroying the natural environment (the biosphere). Humankind develops through the consumption of renewable (air, water, landscapes, and biota) and nonrenewable (fuel, ores, and other mineral resources) resources from the Earth. Constant renewal of resources is an essential condition for sustainable development. However, the present-day use of nature ignores this requirement, which inevitably leads to the depletion of resources, degradation of ecosystems, and global ecological disaster. This paper considers the modern level of consumption of life-supporting resources, which exceeds the permissible limits, and possible ways to prevent the approaching disaster. We draw several conclusions regarding the necessity to adopt a radically new nature-use strategy on the bases of the rational use and reproduction of resources as well as the development of new technologies of energy production from nontraditional sources.

Abstract:
This article discusses the economic benefits of uranium mining, as well as its environmental and health impacts. Sustainable development includes several aspects: energy, water, the environment, food and the economy, and ensuring each of these aspects is a serious problem. Energy is at the center of other aspects of sustainability, as it has a direct relationship with water, food, and the environment. Uranium is Kazakhstan’s top priority in the global energy market. In the world, there are different opinions on the development of uranium production, increasing the value of atomic energy. Apparently, this should be preceded by a crisis in the field of oil and gas production in recent years, in connection with which the world energy market should have a diversified course depending on various energy sources. Kazakhstan is a country rich in uranium. In addition, over the years of independence, we have increased production almost four times and maintain leadership in the world. Therefore, uranium production is the most important advantage of our global energy space today.

The development of national and regional economies in the conditions of financial and economic instability determines special conditions for the formation of financial resources. The innovative improvement of national economies of developing countries has substantiated active evolvement of financial institutions such as development banks. The formation and evolvement of development banks is going through a new phase. These are not the financial institutions that were formed by the metropolis countries after the collapse of the colonial system. They have different mission, goals, principles, methods and instruments.Modern development banks prioritize the issues of financing socio-economic projects, crediting traditional sectors of the economic activity, and, above all, the infrastructure development of regions, the construction of transport systems, and energy supply. Today one of the most important areas of the development banks’ credit activity is the formation of a loan portfolio for small and medium-sized businesses. With all the diversity of development banks substantiated by historical and economic characteristics of countries and regions, the UNO and the World Bank Group distinguish common features, principles and peculiarities. These peculiarities and unique functions of development banks are found in international standards that define a special status of development banks as financial institutions.

Abstract:
The Timor Sea, comprising the Territory of Ashmore and Cartier Islands and adjacent waters, is emerging as a major Australian oil- producing area which will contribute significantly to the national economy and Australia's oil self- sufficiency in the 1990s. From the Jabiru field alone, Timor Sea oil production contributes 9 per cent of Australia's oil production. The Timor Sea will soon rank second only to Bass Strait in terms of daily production from any one area. If success rates are maintained, Timor Sea could be producing 200 000 BOPD (32 000 kL/d) by the mid- 1990s.Early phases of exploration in the area focused on the detection and drilling of large structures. Success rates were low, mainly because of poor quality seismic data which hindered structural definition and lack of geological understanding as to the controls of hydrocarbon accumulations. Since the Jabiru discovery in 1983, better exploration methods have resulted in the delineation of many prospects which could contain significant oil reserves. New play concepts being developed will result in additional prospects.Economic forecasting and modelling are key factors in determining exploration and development project viability in the area, owing to the wide range in size of the prospects and discoveries. Assuming current economic factors remain in place, modelling indicates that field sizes likely to be found in the Timor Sea will be commercial.

Abstract:
According to energy-saving trends the use of all types of energy should be minimal and efficient. Since late 90-s such strategy has been already used in well-developed countries. In Ukraine the energy-saving measures became popular since 2014. Now it is possible to receive warm loans supported by Ukrainian government for private households and co-owners of multi-apartment buildings. Also, it is possible to apply for grants of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine – the regional development projects that can be implemented at the expense of the state budget received from the European Union or other grants financed by local authorities at different levels. According to statistics it was found that using thermal sanitation method as a key measure of energy saving, it is possible to provide 85% of insulation efficiency. The research is focused on determination of weaknesses concerning grants for energy efficiency, their application and management. One of the most important factor that influence overall success is the correct calculation of energy losses. Three possible types of errors during calculations and possibilities to reduce their influence were defined. At the end of the article conclusions and suggestions for further research were made.

Abstract:
This study contributes to a better understanding of where to place different energy modelling tools and support better decision-making related to the sustainable development of energy systems. It is argued that through the connection of the energy field and the field of sustainable development, the current energy paradigm—encompassing economic, environmental and social aspects—has emerged. This paper provides an analysis of different categories of existing energy system models and their ability to provide answers to questions arising from the current energy paradigm formulated within this study. The current energy paradigm and the relevant questions were defined by conducting conceptual framework analysis. The overarching question of the current paradigm asks how different energy pathways impact on the (sustainable) development of the energy system and overall (sustainable) development globally and nationally. A review of energy system models was conducted to analyse what questions of the current energy paradigm are addressed by which models. The results show that most models address aspects of the current energy paradigm but often in a simplified way. To answer some of the questions of the current energy paradigm in more depth and to get novel insights on sustainable energy system development, it might be necessary use complementary methods in addition to traditional energy modelling methodological approaches.

Abstract:
The article considers the state and prospects of bioenergetics development in the context of rationalization of the use of available natural resource potential of Ukraine. It is determined that one of the most perspective renewable energy sources is biomass, the main component of which is by-product of plant growing. It is noted that the use of by-products of crop production for receiving heat energy is a rational way to utilize their surpluses that are not used for other purposes of agriculture. The existing resource potential of this agricultural biomass and source of its obtainment were characterized. An estimation of the potential of this type of biomass up to 2025, which can be used for thermal power engineering was made. It was noted that the effective use of biomass potential of agricultural enterprises is possible in case of creation of the appropriate mechanism, a set of management decisions aimed at solving the energy issue. The structure of the formation of the economic model of the influence of factors on the state of the use of by-products of crop production in thermal power engineering was proposed.

Abstract:
Nuclear power in its present form was created during the Cold War and is its heritage. The main objective of nuclear energy at that time, along with energy, was the creation and accumulation of nuclear materials. To this aim a existing nuclear power plants based on uranium-plutonium cycle. Everything else - the processing of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, storage, recycling themselves nuclear power plant after its end of life, the risks of proliferation of nuclear materials and other environmental issues - minor. It was also believed that the nuclear power plant - the most reliable and safe plant. During the last twenty years all over the world the number of new orders for nuclear aggregates has decreased. That happens for a number of reasons, including public resistance, that the construction of new NPP and the excess of energy utilities in many markets, which is mainly connected with high market competition in energy markets and low economic indicators of the current nuclear utilities. The technology that consists of low capital costs, a possibility for quick construction and guarantied exploitation quality is on the winners side, but currently this technology is absent. However, despite abovementioned downsides, as the experience of state corporation "Rosatom"has shown, many developing countries of the South-east Asia, The middle East, African regions express high interest in the development of nuclear energy in their countries. The decision whether to develop nuclear energy or to continue to develop is, in the end, up to the choice of the tasks that a country faces. The article describes these "minor" issues, as well as geopolitical and economic problems of the further development of nuclear energy.

Abstract:
The current work is a review, dedicated to the study of semiclassical aspects of black holes. We begin by briefly looking at the main statements of general relativity. We then consider the Schwarzschild, Kerr, and Reissner-Nordstrom black hole solutions and discuss their geometrical properties. Later, the thermodynamic nature of black holes is established. In light of this, we formulate the information loss problem and present the most promising approaches for addressing it with emphasis on introducing low-energy quantum corrections to the classical general relativity picture. Finally, in the context of multimessenger astronomy, we look at naked singularities as possible gravitational collapse endstates and their role in the unitarity of quantum mechanics and discuss their observational prospects.

Abstract:
In the context of easing the dependence of most countries of the world on the import of fossil energy sources, a complex of systematic research on the search and effective use of renewable energy sources, in particular the development of the biofuels industry, is a necessary direction. An urgent problem need arises for the parallel implementation of the policy of diversification of supply and efficient use of fuel and energy resources with the active introduction of competition policy and infrastructure reforms in the economic and energy sector. Economically developed countries pay significant attention to energy supply on the basis of sustainable development, which determines the urgency of developing an integrated system of directions and priorities for the formation of Ukraine's energy security on the basis of its own biofuels production. The purpose of research is to provide scientific and practical substantiation and systematization of organization and innovative aspects of effective regulation of the development of competitive biofuels production in Ukraine at different levels of management. The methodical and practical experience of Ukrainian scientists concerning the division of Ukraine into natural-economic region was used. The methods of system analysis, monographic, graphical and abstract-logical are applied. The development of national biofuels production contributes to the efficient use of scientific, economic and labor potential and provides optimization of biofuel specialization areas. On the basis of the natural-economic region, it is necessary to form the main economic-energy proportions of macro-regional development and carry out balance calculations of production and consumption of biofuels. The formation of competitive biofuels production should be based on the principles of independence, self-sufficiency, accessibility and quality, based on clusterization processes. It is necessary to intensify the processes of increasing the volume and share of renewable energy consumption, giving priority to the development of the biofuels industry. Biofuels are a significant innovative contribution to the local energy supply of natural-economic regions, areas, administrative districts and individual agro-industrial enterprises to increase the competitiveness of manufactured products. Keywords: economic development, management, state energy policy, renewable energy, biofuels industry, natural-economic region.
