Abstract:
The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes in Indonesia still largely involves charity to the community or efforts to earn a good name in the wider sphere. This is most especially the case in gold mining, where both large companies and community mining use hazardous materials such as mercury which cause various types of environmental damage. This study aims to look at a series of CSR activities that have been carried out by the company, whether these activities have successfully completed the impacts caused by mining activities. In-depth interviews with informants from all groups were conducted. The results showed that various CSR activities carried out by the company have not been designed to improve the impact caused by gold mining activities, nor CSR programme has not yet had an impact on increasing the capacity of the community; most CSR activities were still charity or inducements to the community or elite groups. Some facts also show the demonstrable result of the use of mercury which has had an impact on public health as well as disruption to people's livelihoods, due to damage to the previously clean water sources.

The negative impacts caused by the hospital require the environmental accounting system as the control of the organization's responsibility because the waste management conducted by the hospital requires measurement, assessment, disclosure and reporting of waste management cost from the operational activities of the hospital is one of the interesting accounting problems for The Eirviromental Management Accounting (EMA) is a technique that emphasizes efficiency and effectiveness in the use of resources and is part of a wider management control system. This research method used qualitative method with case study. RSUD Dr.H. Slamet Martodjirjo Pamekasan has implemented Regulation of Minister of Trade Regulation No.64 of 2013 on the implementation of accounting based on full accrual in government in 2015 for example, has done the process of identification, recognition of measurement, recording, presentation and also disclosure. In RSUD Dr.H. Slamet Martodjirjo Pamekasan recognizes the environmental costs that occur as operational costs using the basic accrual method. Environmental accounting can support income accounting, financial accounting as well as internal business managerial accounting. Environmental accounting helps companies and other organizations raise their confidence and beliefs in relation to a more equitable assessment. Environmental accounting becomes important to consider as well as possible because environmental accounting is part or sub-accounting. Disclosure of policies relating to environmental management issues in the notes to the financial statements of RSUD Dr.Slamet Martodjirjo Pamekasan shows that the costs incurred for waste management are combined with similar accounts. Keywords :Eviromental Management Acoounting

Abstract:
For the predominant anthropocentric tradition of our civilization, nature and living organisms possess only an instrumental value, and that is the reason why they have not been subjects of ethical consideration until recently. Enviromental ethics has arisen with the purpose to surpass the arbitrary and prepotent anthropocentrism, but it has to consolidate itself as an ethics of the human resposibility towards nature. This responsibility implies to be in charge of the already provoked damages as well as to prevent future alterations caused by the huge capacity of our technological power. My argument in this article is that it is necessary to find a mediation between an anthropocentric and a biocentric ethic that allows us to establish a new ethical paradigm feasible morally as well as politically.

This article discusses the enhancing of governing green open space in Indonesia. It began by looking at the current condition of green open space in Indonesia, highlighting the barriers faced in governing these areas, looking at opportunities to enhancing, and making recommendations to improve green open space governance. Literature review on governance frameworks that can maximize the potential of green open spaces in Indonesia. The results of this study show that there are several constraints in governing green open spaces, including less awareness and understanding among stakeholders, limited funding and resources, inadequate urban planning, limited community involvement, limited law enforcement and monitoring, urbanization and land scarcity, and weak coordination among government agencies in their management bodies. Our findings point to opportunities in governing greenspace areas, by learning from successful projects, exploring global good practices; innovative financing and partnerships; integrating greenspace into urban planning for cohesive neighborhoods; engaging communities for long-term success and shared responsibility; raising awareness of the value of greenspace through educational campaigns; and utilizing technology for data-driven decision-making and community participation. These opportunities contribute to policy recommendations that can be used by the central government and local governments to improve green open space governance in Indonesia.

It is believed that better understanding and knowledge about the disorder leads to more positive attitudes towards patients, especially when it comes to mental disorders.ObjectiveTo examine the attitudes of general practitioners and psychiatrists, towards to veteran participants of the War in Croatia suffering from PTSD because those physicians are the two specialties most often in contact with these patientsMethodA sample of 30 primary care physicians and 30 psychiatrists in County Primorsko goranska completed a general demographic questionnaire and AMIQ questionnaire (Corigann 2002). Custom AMIQ questionnaire consists of 20 claims (paragraph), which are ranked on a scale of 1–9, and are grouped into two subscales “personal responsibility for illness,” and “the danger of disease.”ResultsThere are no statistically significant differences in sub scales regard to specialization, gender and physician’s place of employment.ConclusionThese results suggest that the formation of physicians’ attitudes does not affect only the knowledge of disorder, but more different personal and enviromental factors may have the impact.

Abstract:
Not only inflicted human casualities, the war between Russia and Ukraine, also injured the environment. Russia's discriminating attacks on essential objects such as gas, energy, oil, and mining infrastructure become the most significant root cause. UNEP affirmed that the attacks resulted in widespread water, soil and air pollution, as well as a significant deterioration in Ukraine's ecosystem stability. Accordingly, the study intends to examine the framework of international humanitarian and criminal law, specifically in terms of enviromental protection, as well as to analyze accountability before the International Criminal Court. The study employed doctrinal method involving a statutory and conceptual approach. In this case, relevant legal instruments such as the 1949 Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols, as well as the Rome Statute, were being examined. Furthermore, the study is also certified by the evolution of legal doctrines in books, jounals, and other credible sources. According to the findings, humanitarian law, which is underpinned by customary international law, protects the environment slightly better than international criminal law. In short, the state bears multiple duties for environmental damage caused by the outbreak of war. Individual accountability before the ICC, on the other hand, is being overlooked. It is due to the Rome Statute's flaws, which include vagueness in the formulation of the articles, stringent standards for proof of environmental damage, and bias in proving mens rea. As a result, improvements in the enforcement of international crimes (war crimes and related types) that cause environmental damage are urgently required.

Abstract:
This article examines the growing importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and the European Union’s (EU) regulatory framework. The research is structured around three key questions: the motivations behind the EU’s implementation of ESG regulations, the benefits SMEs can derive from adopting ESG reports, and the challenges businesses face during this process. Moreover, the article explores how the EU’s regulatory push is driven by goals related to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance, aiming to align with global climate initiatives. It also investigates how SMEs can benefit from ESG reporting by improving operational efficiency, securing access to capital, and building stronger stakeholder relationships. However, it acknowledges the significant challenges faced by businesses, including compliance costs, difficulties in data collection, and the complex nature of regulatory requirements. Through a comprehensive analysis, this paper provides insights into the evolving role of ESG in shaping business practices and policy, with particular emphasis on its impact on SMEs and the broader EU economy. The findings aim to contribute to a better understanding of ESG as a strategic tool and its implications for businesses within the EU regulatory context. At the end of the article, the case study thoroughly details how DHL, a company that has proven itself in the logistics sector and ESG reporting, managed the process and the key aspects they focused on. This concept is textual elaboration which is contained in section 10 Law No. 15, 2003 about the eradication of the terrorism. The crime for environmental destructions which are catagorized as terrorism are as follows: The impacts of the environmental destruction and pollution exceed Baku Mutu Lingkungan Hidup (BMLH), the poisonous chemicals release in the public areas (as happened during internal armed conflict in suriah on March 2011), there are bulk of victims, and it harms and damages the strategical vital objects. Based on those criterion, the environmental destruction is considered as equal as terrorism, because they are catagorized as a crime againts humanity. The environmental destruction happens because of low obedience and awareness of people to protect and to save the environment and it could be indicator that the law enforcement for environmental protection and management has not gone well yet. Abstract:
Enviromental perception regarding the quality of the water used in the historic village of Caraíva, Porto Seguro - BAA B S T R A C TEnvironmental sanitation represents an essential tool for maintaining environmental quality, well-being, and human health. The study of environmental perception, on the other hand, can provide instruments to overcome impasses related to this theme by providing an awareness of the problems related to the lived environment. This work aims to analyze the environmental perception of the historic village of Caraíva residents, in Porto Seguro, state of Bahia, Brazil regarding the quality of water used, health impacts, responsibilities, and expectations for improvements, It can also contribute with information to support actions that collaborate to provide better living conditions for the local population. For this purpose, 77 interviews were conducted through a structured script with open and closed questions and field observation between November 2019 and March 2020. Qualitative data were interpreted and through the technique of the Collective Subject Discourse (DSC). With the RStudio statistical software aid, the chi-square test was applied in the data to verify a dependency relationship between sociodemographic variables and qualitative results. According to the results, the population depends heavily on wells' water, and this water source is used more than a piped one. The insecurity regarding the water quality is reflected in the high adhesion to bottled mineral water. Schooling was the most significant factor in the perception that filtered water can put health at risk. Respondents recognize the public authorities' responsibility for maintaining water supply services and conserving their quality. Keywords: water resources management, environmental health, environmental impacts, environmental sanitation.

Abstract:
Plastic waste is a major environmental problem because it is a type of waste that is very difficult to decompose. The lack of educational activities involving children in plastic waste processing results in low awareness and limited involvement in efforts to maintain environmental sustainability. This leads to a lack of environmental responsibility among the younger generation, who should be the agents of change for a better future. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to children in Gampong Bakoy, Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar, regarding the impact of plastic waste on the environment and creative ways to process it. Through this training, it is hoped that children can develop an enviromentally conscious character from an early age. This activity was attended by children from TPA Pelita Hati, aged 5 to 12 years. The activity was carried out over two days. Based on the evaluation results, data showed an increase in understanding of the impact, types, and classification of waste (98%), an increase in enviromentally conscious behavior (97%), and an increase in children’s creativity in making products from plastic waste (96%).

Abstract:
This paper shows how sustainability education has been embedded as essential part of character development in one Christian school in Klaten, Jawa Tengah since the early 2000s. This has taken place as camps in the school area or live-in experiences in neighboring villages. Gradually, a more formal program as classroom lesson plans were deemed as important until one specific day was then devoted each week for this character development program. To serve this purpose, a general theme of love was chosen that was reflected in loving God, loving oneself, loving others, and loving the enviroment. From here, nine characters were chosen and used to be developed in each grade, from Grade 1 to Grade 6. These nine characters are loving God, compassion, responsibility, self-control, discipline, critical, positive, creative, and efficient. The barriers faced by the school staff and school boards in running this program were regarded as challenges to improve this important program. More importantly, parents are also supportive and acknowledging the advantages of having this program for the holistic development of their children.

The study uses a quantitative method with secondary data obtained from the official IDX website. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique, so that a sample of 13 companies was obtained from a total population of 94 companies. The research findings show that Green Accounting has a positive and significant effect on the profitability of mining companies. However, CSR and ESG do not have a significant effect on the profitability of mining sector companies. This study is based on differences in previous research findings and the dynamics of declining profitability in recent years. The novelty of the study lies in the newer observation period and the observation period of 4 years, the use of ESG variables, and the measurement of profitability with ROE. This study provides insight into the role of Green Accounting in increasing profitability and the contribution of CSR and ESG.
