The interaction between such managers has not been studied before in terms of professional communication and was delineated as a new field of enquiry. The issues of tact and Face were important for this organisational community, which shared characteristics of contact communities and Communities of Practice. Allen, Ronald Timothy. "Exploring the Lived Experiences of Program Managers Regarding an Automated Logistics Environment." Thesis, Northcentral University, 2014. http://pqdtopen.proquest.com/#viewpdf?dispub=3579717.

Abstract:

Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) is a new term used by Navy and aerospace industry executives to describe the aggregate of logistics-related information systems that support modern aircraft weapon systems. The development of logistics information systems is not always well coordinated among programs, often resulting in solutions that cannot be easily integrated or made interoperable with other information systems used within the Department of Defense. A phenomenological approach was used to explore ALE program managers' lived experiences of coordinating defense acquisition programs to

Abstract:
Network virtualisation is a promising technique for dealing with the resistance of the Internet to architectural changes, enabling a novel business model in which infrastructure management is decoupled from service provision. It allows infrastructure providers (InPs) who own substrate networks (SNs) to lease chunks of them out to service providers who then create virtual networks (VNs), which can then be re-leased out or used to provide services to end-users. However, the different VNs should be initialised, in which case virtual links and nodes must be mapped to substrate nodes and paths r

Radon is a hazardous substance that cannot be perceived by our senses. It has long been known that exposure to high radon levels for a long period of time will ultimately cause lung cancer. The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority estimates that 500 people die annually due to this. Although most of them are smokers, even non-smokers suffer from lung cancer caused by radon. The statutory value for radon in homes today is 200 Bq/m³. Several years of research points to the fact that 63% of all those who develop lung cancer have been exposed to radon levels between 100-200 Bq/m³. This is why the

Abstract:
As social problems, such as environmental pollution persist, the need to implement corporate social responsibility (CSR) to enhance societal well-being becomes important. However, little is known about how corporate leaders implement CSR. The purpose of this qualitative transcendental phenomenological study was to identify and report the lived experiences of corporate managers relevant to CSR implementation. This study was guided by ecological systems theory, the Porter hypothesis, the Maslow hierarchy of needs theory, and the Harrod-Domar growth model, which justify the importance of societal
