Full text16 Lebanese families (father, mother and youth) have been the subject of a retrospective, non-randomized study, to explore notions of identity transmission and dynamics, in relation to the various family educations. Inclusion criteria were family cohesion and the level of youth instruction level, greater than or equal to High School. Families were selected according to the main structural communities in a multi communitarian society, namely the Lebanese society (specifically: confessional, geographic, and socioeconomic communities). The comprehensive and interpretative analysis of data collected, followed a qualitative methodology, according to the grounded theory method: 1) establishment of initial interpretive markers; 2) co-construction of meaning; 3) inductive / deductive analysis; 4) categorization, while analysis is in progress, of various conceptualizations; 5) modeling of these conceptualizing categories in two stages (two-dimensional and three dimensional), the result of which was a theoretical modeling of individual identity; 6) use of this model to propose an original approach o identity transmissions, and identity and intercultural dynamics; and 7) ultimately to reach a theorization about the “intercultural imperfect crystal”, (I.I.C.), and about its eventual and potential applications and implications, especially in terms of education. The main initial interpretive and personal landmark, was that of the Arabic word of “oumour”: a representation, in temporal terms, of Existence. The main conceptualizations that this study made it possible to categorize, were: 1) the distinction between three forms of belonging: the existential identities, the essential gender-related identity, and the necessary “oumour”-related identity; 2) the tripartite structure of existential belongings, due to the double influence carried on by the family and the society; 3) the individualization of a third intermediate circle of belonging, between the private and public, circles, which is the circle of “assabiyya”; 4) the incompleteness of each of the three circles of belonging; and 5) the concept of “necessary identity dynamics” (N.I.D.), which is the sum of two inseparable necessary identity movements. As for the theorization of the “intercultural imperfect crystal”, this corresponds to a simplification, for didactic purposes, of our understanding of the structuring of individual identity, of its transmission, and of its dynamics. It is based on two fundamental concepts: 1) identity subcomponents, or elementary particles of this imperfect crystal; and 2) the N.I.D. of the being, that “dynamizes” the whole, through internal processes of rationalization and “relativization”. The intercultural approach is prominent in this theory, on regard of the understanding of the identity transmission and dynamics. That’s why otherness is presented as the elementary relationship of this structure. And whose approach is characterized by its combined, interactive and mandatory use of three distinct logics: 1) the inter-subjective and existential logic; 2) the subjective and essential logic; and 3) the necessary logic, as to the meaning, that the individual gives to his being, and which is related to his “oumour” (his N.I.D.)

Full textThis purpose of this research is to attempt to study how the Comorian land ownership system as regards its organization functioning during the pre-colonial, colonial and post colonial period. This system actually reflects the side by side existence of both traditional and colonial structures. It has however undergone deep changes with three different types of ownership, the customary, the Islamic and the colonial modes of property acquisition. The choice of this time frame is deliberate since it has enabled us to analyze the weakness of the system before, during colonial period and up to the independence in 1975. This study will first look closely and exhaustively at the permanent mode property acquisition continuous changes and challenges related to the mode of property acquisition such as inheritance, donation, sale contract, exchange, accession and prescription. At the same time, it will examine the general and specific features of the socio cultural context. Finally it will present the possibilities and land policies leading to a written document for regulation estate and land while keeping a balanced ecological environment in relation to a true policy promoting human sustainable and development

Dans l'ensemble, cette étude contribue à montrer que, malgré sa réputation de microsmate, l'homme utilise les informations olfactives de son environnement et que cette utilisation est modulée de façon précoce par des facteurs individuels et environnementaux.

Full textSince years, the transformation of Chinese society has been frequently mentioned in media and scientific works. Except the economic boom and further progress, this transformation is simultaneously accompanied by social problems, such as widened gaps and intensified conflicts between social classes; the discriminations against marginalized groups… However, very little attention focuses on one of their origins or their consequences: the ignorance and the misunderstandings about educational issues. Speaking of this theme, comparing with other educational institutions, family in Chinese society often plays the most significant role, because family relationships and values built the whole society until today. To a certain extent, if we don’t study this theme, then we couldn’t understand Chinese society and analyze its risks. For this reason, we undertake this research on the transformations of family education in China and its sociocultural dimensions. In order to highlight the link between family education and its environment, we choose to focus only on the adolescence, because from this step of life, the influences of environments become more and more powerful and compete with those of the family. By a survey with teenagers’ families in a Chinese city, we thus explore some strong correlations between the domestic world and exterior space and the challenges for today’s Chinese family education, such as the rejection of traditional virtues in the moral education, the differentiation in educational perceptions between social classes, etc

Full textThe resilience of sub-Saharan farming systems to environmental and socioeconomic disturbances is partly based on the maintenance of agro-biodiversity, but also on preserving the right for farmers to reproduce and freely exchange seeds and related knowledge. However, few data are actually available on effective seed flow and on mechanisms modulating gene flow and genetic introgression between landraces grown in Sahelian farming systems. For pearl millet especially, there are only very few data on the relationship between diversity of this crop on the one hand and the socio-cultural diversity of farmers on the other hand. In the first part of my thesis, I was interested in assessing a potential relationship between ethnolinguistic diversity and population genetic structure of pearl millet in the Lake Chad Basin. Analysis of molecular polymorphisms suggests the existence of social barrier to seed flow among ethnolinguistic groups. However, these barriers are not sufficient to prevent genetic introgression between pearl millet populations cultivated by farmers belonging to different ethno-linguistic groups. In the second chapter, I focused on the role of local adaptation on gene flow. The results led me to propose the hypothesis that gene flow between early and late landraces are higher in the northern regions where rainfall is weak. Finally in the third part, I have quantified the biochemical compound of pearl millet seeds belonging to different varieties that show different uses or culinary preferences among farmers belonging to different ethnolingiuistic groups. I used a combined approach of proteomics and metabolics. Among the 1072 protein spots quantified only 7 distinguish the very photoperiodic non photoperiodic landrace. Metabolomics data suggest the presence of fungi, possibly endophytes, in some of the samples analyzed

Full textHow is it possible that "peasants", supported by the agrarian impulses characterized by the Mexican state over the last 4 decades, have been interested in the conservation of forest ecosystems present in localities formed through a process of intensive colonization and appropriation of jungle environments? This is the central question that guides my doctoral research, constructed from ethnographic and anthropological work conducted in a region of the area known as the Lacandon Jungle. It is particularly focused on Marqués de Comillas, a colonized region between 1970 and 1986. It is located near the Biosphere Reserve, Montes Azules, and borders the neighboring country of Guatemala. The research focuses upon the development and experiences of men and women who have lived through the intense challenges represented by both colonization and ecological conservation of the forest. At the same time, my work tries to comprehend environmental changes and cultural changes produced there. In addition, the research represents an effort to demonstrate and understand the contradictory relationships in which local people and the Mexican state reposition themselves. In this sense, the answer to the question corresponds with an attempt to unearth the interaction between human groups and "natural" environments, but also processes in which these groups and governments interact. Specifically, I'm interested in the symbolic and material impact that the dynamics of government daily life have on the local people

Full textThe development of information and communication technologies and introduction in the system of Higher Education in Russia and in France contribute to the improvement of the quality of university education. Universities in France and Russia conduct researches in the field of online education in all disciplines. In this context, the formation of the sociocultural competency of students-linguists in a French-speaking learning environment Moodle becomes important problematic for education sciences. The objectif of our research is to highlight and explain the specificity of the formation of sociocultural competency in the virtual environment Moodle. This objective has led us to specify the components of the sociocultural competency by analyzing the models of this competency represented in Russian and French research. The necessity to develop all the components at the same time and make full use of the potential of the virtual environment led us to develop the integrative approach based on the ideas of the french researchers in this area. To apply the integrative approach, we did the analysis of the characteristics of the environment Moodle by using psychodiagnostics criteria developed by Russian scientists and by linking these characteristics to the components of the sociocultural competency. We constructed the theoretical framework of research and next we applied it to argue the effectiveness of formation of sociocultural competency in a French-speaking learning environment Moodle. For this aim, a virtual course Portrait socio-cultural of the France was created, developed and introduced in the process of the formation of the students-linguists at the Tomsk State University. In addition to the virtual course in Moodle, we have developed student tips and recommendations for tutors working in a French-speaking learning environment Moodle
