Abstract:
Introduction. It is well known that eosinophilia appears in a malignant disease. Frequency of all Hodgkin`s lymphoma patients is estimated to about 15%. Prognostic importance of this phenomenon is not completely investigated. Therefore we decided to present a female patient with eosinophilia, six months before lymphoma appearance. Case report. We presented a 51- years old female, from Serbia, who had eosinophilia (1,530?2,040 eosinophils per ?L of blood), six months before Hodgkin's lymphoma appearance. Eosinophilic granuloma was confirmed by tumor?s biopsy and histopathologic examination, from the right femoral region. As eosinophilia was increasing, lymph nodes became enlarged (120 ? 65 mm diameter), in the right parailiac region. All infectious and allergic examinations did not reveal eosinophilia's cause. Histopathologic revision was made with added immunohistochemical stains 17 months after tumor's biopsy. The diagnosis was changed from eosinophilic granuloma to mixed cellularity Hodgkin's lymphoma. After conducted Ann Arbor staging classification, II B clinical stage was established. The treatment was done by chemotherapy according to adriamycin, bleomycin, vinblastine, dacarbarine (ABVD) protocol, with 6 courses. Complete remission of the disease was achieved after 4 courses. Eosinophils number dropped to 640 per ?l blood. Conclusion. Eosinophilia without revealed cause can precede Hodgkin's lymphoma. We suggest careful search for enlarged lymph nodes, anywhere in the patients? body who suffer from eosinophilia. Timely and accurate histopathologic diagnostic is a right way to resolve such conditions.

Abstract:
Abstract Solitary intracranial eosinophilic granulomas are rare and most frequently involve the hypothalamus. We report an unusual case of solitary eosinophilic granuloma of the frontal lobe in a patient without evidence of systemic disease. Previously reported cases of solitary intracranial nonhypothalamic lesions are reviewed, and the clinical, radiographic, and histological features of this case are discussed.

Abstract:
Ulcerative eosinophilic stomatitis affecting three Cavalier King Charles spaniels is described. The lesions are similar in gross appearance to previously reported palatine eosinophilic granulomas, but histologically they lack granuloma formation. The cause of the lesions is not known. Treatment with corticosteroids led to the resolution of one case and partial resolution of a second. A third case resolved spontaneously without therapy.

Abstract:
Eosinophilic granuloma, a form of reticuloendothelial proliferation of unknown origin, can involve virtually any site and organ of the body. Involvement of the central nervous systems is very rare, but the skull is a common location. We present a case of a large eosinophilic granuloma of the skull, which on CT? MRI and angiography, was reported as meningiosarcoma. The tumour was totally excised, and histology disclosed an eosinophilic granuloma. Emphasis is given on radiology, and the literature is reviewed.

Abstract:
The first reported case of eosinophilic granuloma of the hand is presented. A slowly expanding lesion of the right third metacarpal shaft was treated by biopsy and curettage. Histological examination confirmed the presence of eosinophilic granuloma. A bone scan showed that it was a solitary lesion. There has been no evidence of recurrence of the lesion during follow-up. Eosinophilic granuloma is a rare disease of the mononuclear phagocyte system, representing one of the clinical manifestations of Langerhans-cell histiocytosis. The lesions are usually associated with the skull, femur, mandible and ribs; this condition has not been previously reported in the hand.

Abstract:
Chronic Eosinophilic Leukemia (CEL) is a rare form of chronic myeloproliferative disorder of unknown etiology with no data on its true incidence. The disease has a wide variety of manifestations. Literature search has not shown peripheral neuropathy as the only presentation of CEL. Our case is probably the first such report case. Here we are reporting a 45 year old male patient who presented with progressive weakness of upper and lower limbs for 6 months and weight loss for 2 months. Neurological examination revealed findings consistent with bilateral sensorimotor polyneuropathy later confirmed by nerve conduction studies. Complete blood count revealed total wbc count – 51, 870/mm3, eosinophil – 62.1% (32,315/mm3). Peripheral Blood film revealed eosinophilic leucocytosis. Superficial peroneal nerve biopsy showed mild perivascular infiltration with inflammatory cells. No granuloma or malignancy was seen. Bone Marrow examination showed hyperactive granulopoiesis with predominance of eosinophil series with progressive maturation along with presence of myeolcytes, hypersegmented eosinophils and giant eosinophils. Blast cell was around 7%. Patient was treated with imatinib and prednisolone which showed excellent response.Bangladesh Crit Care J March 2018; 6(1): 47-49

Abstract:
Eosinophilic granuloma of bone is a disease with an incidence of one new case per 350,000 to 2 million per year, which is an uncommon disease of maxillofacial region, and presents in more than 90% in children under the age of ten with predominance for males. As a result, eosinophilic granuloma of the jaw is always unconsidered in the differential diagnosis of similar lesions by many clinicians. It is difficult to make a correct diagnosis on it without proof of a pathological diagnosis, which correlates with the diverse clinical and radiographic presentations of eosinophilic granuloma in the jaws. In the present paper we report a rare case of unifocal eosinophilic granuloma of mandible occurring in an adult female.

AbstractInvolvement of the temporal bone by eosinophilic granuloma is rare. Four cases are presented here and the pertinant literature is reviewed. This disease must be kept in mind by the otolaryngologist because of the diagnostic and therapeutic problems that may arise.Direct injection of methyl-prednisolone sodium succinate is suggested as a treatment of eosinophilic granuloma in the temporal bone.
