SPOT-5 image is widely used in every trade by its special advantage of high spatial resolution and stereo mapping. SPOT-5 image is difficult to composite true color without blue wavelength channel. This article aims to achieve approximation from RS images colors to natural colors through true-color processing. The experiential arithmetic module of true-color composite is established by Using Erdas Imagine, which is the software for processing RS image, and ERDAS Macro Language (EML), which is modeling language. Loading module and some simulations get more effective images of approximating natural colors by all kinds of surface features of SPOT-5 image.

Abstract:
ERDAS IMAGINE is a remote sensing image processing system developed by the United States.The paper using ERDAS to classified the remote sensing of Land-sat TM image data by supervised classification method and unsupervised classification method, Using the Yushu City remote sensing image of Jilin Province as the trial data, and classified the forest, arable land and water from the remote sensing images, compared the test data of the supervised classification and unsupervised classification method, shows that the supervised classification method can be better to solute the questions "with the spectrum of foreign body" and "synonyms spectrum" than unsupervised classification method, and optimize classification images, improved information extraction accuracy. The application shows the classification result is consistent with the actual situation and it laid the foundation for land to have the rational planning and use.

Abstract:
This article presents an evaluation of the ERDAS IMAGINE Spatial Model Editor from the perspective of effective cognition. Workflow models designed in Spatial Model Editor are used for the automatic processing of remote sensing data. The process steps are designed as a chain of operations in the workflow model. The functionalities of the Spatial Model Editor and the visual vocabulary are both important for users. The cognitive quality of the visual vocabulary increases the comprehension of workflows during creation and utilization. The visual vocabulary influences the user’s exploitation of workflow models. The complex Physics of Notations theory was applied to the visual vocabulary on ERDAS IMAGINE Spatial Model Editor. The results were supplemented and verified using the eye-tracking method. The evaluation of user gaze and the movement of the eyes above workflow models brought real insight into the user’s cognition of the model. The main findings are that ERDAS Spatial Model Editor mostly fulfils the requirements for effective cognition of visual vocabulary. Namely, the semantic transparency and dual coding of symbols are very high, according to the Physics of Notations theory. The semantic transparency and perceptual discriminability of the symbols are verified through eye-tracking. The eye-tracking results show that the curved connector lines adversely affect the velocity of reading and produce errors. The application of the Physics of Notations theory and the eye-tracking method provides a useful evaluation of graphical notation as well as recommendations for the user design of workflow models in their practice.

Abstract:
O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o potencial de uso de fotografias digitais na estimação do índice de cobertura de dossel (ICD), em substituição ao índice de área foliar (IAF). Fotografias digitais de 640x480 e de 1.280x960 pixels foram processadas por meio dos aplicativos Erdas, Gap Light Analyzer e Sidelook. O IAF, estimado com o LAI-2000, e as fotografias digitais foram obtidos aos 81 e 93 meses de idade, em povoamento de clone de eucalipto submetido à desrama e ao desbaste. Foram observadas correlações significativas entre IAF e ICD, e as fotografias com maiores dimensões permitiram maior diferenciação entre céu e dossel. O ICD, obtido pela classificação das fotografias com o aplicativo Sidelook, apresentou correlação mais elevada com o IAF, em relação ao obtido com o Erdas e o Gap Light Analyzer. Esses resultados indicam que fotografias digitais podem ser utilizadas para estimar o ICD de povoamentos florestais.

Taking the Xinjiang Kulja county bureau department area remote sensing images as the basic information, and using ERDAS IMAGINE, this paper discusses non-supervised classification and supervised classification methods. The results show that remote sensing technology applies to land utilization situation and land classification, which has reference value.

Estudamos o problema de famílias intersectantes extremais em um subconjunto aleatório da família dos subconjuntos com exatamente k elementos de um conjunto dado. Obtivemos uma descrição quase completa da evolução do tamanho de tais famílias. Versões semelhantes do problema foram estudadas por Balogh, Bohman e Mubayi em 2009, e por Hamm e Kahn, e Balogh, Das, Delcourt, Liu e Sharifzadeh de maneira concorrente a este trabalho.
We studied the problem of maximal intersecting families in a random subset of the family of subsets with exactly k elements from a given set. We obtained a nearly complete description of the evolution of the size of such families. Similar versions of this problem have been studied by Balogh, Bohman and Mubayi in 2009, and by Hamm and Kahn, and Balogh, Das, Delcourt, Liu and Sharifzadeh concurrently with this work.

O teorema de Erdos-Mordell além de ser muito interessante, apresenta muitas demonstrações diferentes, boa parte delas envolvendo conte udos estudados na Educação Básica. Se tais demonstrações forem abordadas nestas séries, além de despertar a curiosidade dos alunos, daria ao professor a possibilidade de utilizando um material concreto, tornar suas aulas mais dinâmicas, envolvendo os alunos e ao mesmo tempo despertando um maior interesse da parte deles.Tendo como objetivo, mostrar ao professor algumas possibilidades de apresentar aos alunos da Educação Básica o teorema de Erdos-Mordell, este trabalho trás algumas propostas pedagógicas envolvendo este teorema, utilizando o material concreto, afim de, como dito anteriormente, dinamizar as aulas, aguçando a curiosidade e despertando o interesse do aluno.

Dopo aver dato una definizione formale per il modello di Erdos-Rényi, si dimostra che in un grafo ER il grado dei nodi (misura della connessione) risulta essere una variabile aleatoria con distribuzione binomiale, mentre il clustering (misura della densità di archi a livello locale) tende a zero. Successivamente si determinano le funzioni soglia per alcune proprietà monotone particolarmente significative, consentendo così di descrivere diverse configurazioni possibili per un grafo ER al variare dei suoi parametri. Infine, si mostra come si possano utilizzare i grafi ER per modellizzare la diffusione di una malattia infettiva all’interno di una popolazione numerosa.

In this work we present generalizations to a famous result of the Additive Number Theory which is the Erdös-Ginzburg-Ziv theorem. Our first goal is to find the lowest value for o the length of a sequence of integers for which we can always find a subsequence of n terms which, together with weight in {1, −1}, assume a value equal to a multiple of n. We also consider one generalizations to Erdös-Ginzburg-Ziv theorem where the sequences are o formed by elements in a finite abelian group and for which we can, under some conditions, atribute any weight on the sums of elements of the sequence.
Neste trabalho apresentaremos generalizações para um famoso resultado da Teoria Aditiva dos Números que é o Teorema de Erdös-Ginzburg-Ziv. Nosso primeiro objetivo é encontrar o menor valor para o comprimento de uma sequência de inteiros em que sempre podemos encontrar uma subsequência de n termos que, somados com pesos em {1, −1}, assumam e um valor igual a um múltiplo de n. Posteriormente, consideraremos uma generalização para o Teorema de Erdös-Ginzburg-Ziv em que as sequências são formadas de elementos em um grupo abeliano finito qualquer e que podemos, sob algumas condições, colocar pesos quaisquer sobre as somas dos elementos da sequência.

Nesta dissertação serão apresentados os principais resultados relacionados com a conjetura de Erd}os-Straus, entre os quais o teorema de Mordell. Associada à conjetura está uma equação diofantina, que iguala uma fração de numerador n = 4 e denominador m inteiro maior que 1, à soma de três frações unitárias. Será também analisado o número de soluções desta equação e vamos também verificar computacionalmente a validade da conjetura para m _ 109. Finalmente, iremos ver generalizações da conjetura para qualquer n e para quando, para além de somas, podemos também ter subtrações de frações unitárias. Ambas as generalizações foram propostas por André Schinzel.
This dissertation will present the main results related to the Erd}os- Straus conjecture, including the Mordell's theorem. Abstract:
Flood is one of the most dangerous and deadliest natural hazards in the world which devastates both life and economy to a very large extent. In Kerala, climate change induced floods are becoming an annual problem. In the midyear of 2018 and 2019, Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, witnessed heavy rainfall and strong winds which resulted in widespread damage in various parts of the City. Flood risk assessment study provides a comprehensive detail of geographic areas and elements that are vulnerable to the particular hazard. As far as Thiruvananthapuram is considered, most of the flood risk assessment studies available were found to be based only on a specific catchment or stream. This paper discusses the need of flood risk assessment study of Thiruvananthapuram City and also focuses on estimating the intensity of storm causing flood. In this work, the major natural drains and the places prone to drainage concentration are delineated from Digital Elevation Model of the study area. The drainage map and land use map are prepared using ArcGIS and ERDAS software respectively. The hydraulic modeling is done using HEC-RAS software and simulations for different rainfall intensities are carried out to estimate the magnitude of flood and to identify the major flood prone areas in the City. This study presents a systematic methodology that can be adopted for flood risk assessment of urban cities, especially when there is less available data.
