The paper specifies the term "ergonym" and its place in the onomastic terminological system of the Russian language. Abstract:

The article is dedicated to the study of semantics of ergonyms in the Russian language. Nowadays ergo-nimics, being a fi eld of onomastics, is of great interest to many linguists, because it has specifi c semantics in the gastronomic industry and is aimed at making a positive impact on the recipient.
