Full textSince the first military and law enforcement schools were founded, the goal of these was always the same: the institutional identity and the instruction of the cadets, so that they can fulfill the job of protecting their homeland. The hard, rigid and strict training of the students is not the only aspect that should be taken into consideration for the officer’s formation. Today, it is known that an atmosphere of comfort, calm and belonging are necessary to overcome the pressures and stress that the training requires of them on a daily basis. At present, the “Escuela Técnico Superior Femenina de la PNP” located in San Bartolo (ETS PNP SB), does not meet the architectural standards required to accomplish their functions. The new ETS PNP SB has as a goal, to have the necessary and adequate services for police training, to achieve the optimum comfort during the stay and training of the students and their administrative staff. The architectural concept was born out of the need of the building to reflect its role for serving the students and the society, without losing its authority and functionality. It pays important attention to the intervention of immediate urban space of the project and to the internal areas for recreation; the building is organized around two main areas: the “Patio de Honor”, which responds to the institutional needs and functions of the project, and the “Patio Central”, which takes part of the day to day activities of the students.

Full textThe professional dance school as such is beginning to consolidate more and more in Peru. This ceases to be a place where only the different dances are taught and the technique to execute them, but it also becomes a more complete place where the user is trained as a dancer who comes to interact, learn, know, transmit information and identify. In this way,it was taken into account that the functional program would have to be more complete and comprehensive than those that currently exist. Therefore, the Professional School of folk dances aims to encourage the interaction of the dancer and the public by connectingand designing their spaces to meet the needs of the user, taking into account the connection between the project and the immediate environment. The starting point of the project begins with the analysis of the terrain in terms of accessibility, topography, urban context, zoning and important environmental aspects. Likewise, the neighboring cultural building was taken into account, where the idea of unifying it with the project was born by means of a square so as not to lose contact with the public and organize the functional packages around it and an inner core in order that the user is constantly interacting. On the other hand, the organization of the program is based on a very marked transition from the public to the private so that there is control of the spaces without breaking with the main objective. The Professional School of folk dances is finally summarized as a cultural auction of the area that transmits, educates and promotes Peruvian culture.

Full textThe project to develop is a School of Live Arts in the Quinta Heeren / Barrios Altos. Artes Vivas, the name given to the project, are all the manifestations of the so-called world of entertainment that are linked to the staging, disciplines such as theater, dance and music. Artes Vivas will be located in the open spaces within the Quinta Heeren, that is, those where the first pitch tennis court in Peru was located; one of the first private Zoos that Lima had at the beginning of the 20th century; in addition to a riding stable and an equestrian trail; and the former orchard of the convent of the Mercedarias. This space comprises a total of 17,621.70 m2. The design of the project is based on the structure that has a school of performing arts and the composition of the fifths or neighborhood dwellings in plant as in elevation. The interior spaces are conceived in such a way that they are suitable for the practice and trial of the artists. To the extent that this school is not thought of as a school behind closed doors, it has spaces in which people outside it can enjoy student essays without interrupting them. However, there are places where interaction with the exogenous public can be generated at the school. What you want to achieve with this school, first of all, is to cover the demand for lack of adequate institutions for higher education and accredited in Lima. Secondly, it is about generating a new cultural space in Barrios Altos, expanding the cultural circuit of Lima, and, in this way, continuing to cultivate the art and the exponential growth that has been taking place in recent years. As Gehl has stressed, as soon as the conditions of the urban space are adequate, the use of space by people is for a longer time at the same time that people move and interact in this space wax safer atmospheres (Gehl, 2014). This space will counteract the feeling of insecurity in the sector by attracting the public, thus contributing to the urban restoration of the sector.

Full textThis thesis Project reunites classic architectonic and artistic features from Callao Monumental. The aim is to expand the artistic Historical Centre of Callao, starting by the existing visual and performing arts institutions like Ramon House and Jose Maria Arguedas Cultural Centre. Due to these buildings, the project introduces a contemporary dance school that will continue to expand the “Chalaca” culture (Callao´s lifestyle) in the artistic area. Moreover, in the architectonic and urbanistic areas, will work as a landmark and expansion of District of Callao´s monumental zone, being at the opposite end of this zone to Ramon House. The project presents a compilation of classic architectonic features from Callao and Lima in a modern building, which is why it takes the “Patio House” as well as orders and rhythms from a classic façade as a starting point. Nevertheless, the modern architectonic features presented are inspired by the Architect David Chipperfield. The vertical patterns used in his projects can be adapted to reinterpret a classical building in Callao and allow to respect the architectonic style of the zone.

Full textThe objective of this paper is to investigate and determine all aspects and necessary criteria to develop the project of a Reggio Emilia Inclusive Public School in Lima Norte. For the development of it, different points were taken into account, such as the main and secondary problematic, objectives, theoretical, social, normative and urban aspects; giving a big emphasis to the profile of the user in order to understand the way in which children learn and how this process relates directly to architecture and its spaces. Also, an analysis was made of the place where the project will be located, analyzing the pros and cons of the area, in order to achieve the best relationship with the urban environment that currently has the land and generate a contribution not only architectural, but also urban. Likewise, an investigation was made about the types of users, the necessary architectural program of the spaces to be developed. As research tools, textbooks, journal articles, Web documents and recorded conferences were used, from which different authors were consulted, professional researches that talk about the subject and statistics that approximate the necessary data to develop the project.

A place where they can express and develop in a artistic way. As a concecuence they improve emotionaly. The user is people between 15 and 25 years old, with few resourses and that are at risk of falling into delincuency acts. The location is in Constitutional Callao Province, in front of Real Felipe Fortress. It is located between two of the most conflictive zones in Callao, it is easy to acces. The main concept for the design of it is to understand architecture as a hinge between the past and future of the place, focused on it’s present. It is made out of rich spaces with materials inpired by the port, which is very near the proyect and some elements are colored orange to make them stand out. Also, it has a see through coverage inspired in the old architecture. The building pretends to be a landmark to be proud of. It respects it’s architectural enviroment, implements private-public spaces and divides the functional packages of auditórium, school and general services in a way that the access to each one is independent. Full textCurrently in the city of Chiclayo there is a high deficit of educational spaces, only 85 out of every 100 children study and only 71% of the educational centers have basic services. The Chiclayo Public School project proposes a space/place where environments are created that inspire the true purpose of learning; where convergent and divergent thinking are educational tools and deductive reasoning is encouraged. In addition, the project contemplates spaces for technical education and complementary spaces for the community and services. The concept of the project refers to an active learning methodology where the student is the protagonist, and each environment is designed so that the architecture serves as a facilitator of learning. Colors, free and flexible floor plan, textures, spatiality, scales, and a direct relationship with the surroundings and environment are the guidelines of the project. The design considers all spaces as learning spaces "inside and outside"; they are educational areas where knowledge is acquired through experiences. In addition, connection and dynamism are generated between the environments through natural lighting and ventilation. Native flora is also part of the project, establishing a sense of belonging and generating resources. As part of the project, spaces for interaction and relationship with the community are proposed, a mall is created as part of the project to connect with the neighborhood. Complementary spaces that generate a circular economy promote responsibility and effort. Complementary activities to complement knowledge, values and skills for the personal and professional development of each student.

Full textThroughout the next document, there is an exhaustive investigation that has concluded in the creation of an educational and architectural project. The school responds to the spatial demands of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are strongly related with the design manual of the Ministerio de Educación del Perú. Traditionally, the architectural design in schools has responded to an educational model in which the teacher owns the knowledge and hands it to, generally, passive students. For this type of learning, an isolated, closed and rectangular class, usually works fine; however, this is not the typology this project looks for. Therefore, it has been decided to create a different architectural proposal where the student has the responsibility and the autonomy to choose and where the teacher is a co-learner. In the first chapter, the theme will be presented and there will be a summary of the typology, the emphasis and the location. Then, there will be an analysis on the evolution of the typology throughout the years. In the second chapter, there will be an investigation about the education in Peru and the criteria considered to design each level. In the third chapter, new pedagogies and philosophies will be discussed to later be translated into architectural spaces. The fourth chapter will include an analysis on referential projects that will be useful to quantify space and people. Finally the user, program and location will be presented since they determine the main guidelines for design.

Full textThe school of the Ashaninka Cosmovision arises from a need of the community “El Milagro” to recover the ancestral knowledge that is being lost, such as textiles, gathering and healing; where traditional education does not gather the importance of this knowledge. Also, the project is designed so that the community can build it and adapt it to their needs. The project arises from the Ashaninka Cosmovision, where all the parts belong to a whole unit and act together in a harmonious way creating spatial systems, where the ancestral activities converge with the educational ones; environmental systems, where rain, solar rays, winds and compost are used; and construction systems, in which a flexible and adaptable modular structure is developed for the different uses of the school. In this way, improve traditional construction techniques and materials such as wood and natural fibers. Therefore, design promote a quick and simple construction taking into account material and spatial expressions to stimulate ancestral educational cohesion.
