Full textI confer an objective aspect to of the Investigation: Determining the influence of the Método Investigativo in the abilities development to carry out an investigation in students's sign of Cirugía I's Asignatura of Medicina Humana's Escuela Académico Profesional of Tacna's University Nacional Jorge Basadre Grohmann. Methods: In a sign of forty students and with a design pre - experimental he applied the Method Investigativo in sessions learning of Cirugía I's Asignatura of Fifth Año, IX Ciclo, I Semestre - 2007. He applied a pre test to measure the development level of abilities to carry out an investigation in the dimensions: Observe and he causes problems, plan, pick up and organize information, interpret information and communicate aftermaths. Next after the sessions with the Método Investigativo learning, he applied himself one after test to measure the improvement level of the abilities to carry out an investigation for the method's effect indicated. As a proof of statistical significance in order to the test hypothesis he applied Student's t with a significance level p. Aftermaths: the data's statistical processing he permitted recopilados in the pre and after test evidencing the significant cognitive- abilities influence of the Método Investigativo in the improvement of the development level to accomplish successfully tasks fact-finding.

Full textThe research aimed to identify, explore and analyze the association between knowledge and practice of breast self-examination, among the female college students of the Professional School of Human Medicine and College of Education. It was based on a quantitative, qualitative and cross-sectional. The Chi Square test determined that association between knowledge and practice of breast self-examination in university of the Academic College of Human Medicine and the College of Education p equal 0.031. In relation to the breast self-examination 99.19% of the female college students of the Professional School of Human Medicine and College of Educationcorrectly defined and knew of this technique. Also, 83.87% knew the procedure and what hand to use for the palpation of the breast. However, 62.10% were unaware of the period in which the practice of breast self-exam is done, despite its importance. Furthermore, we found that the practice of breast self-examination it is not performed with personal responsibility, it is not a habit. Of 124 female college students of the Professional School of Human Medicine and College of Education, a 39.47% and 55.56% respectively, did not have the habit of breast self-exam. However, we observe in our results that there is a higher proportion of female college students of the Professional School of Human Medicine and College of Education know and practice the self-exam than those who don’t. We consider that is central to point out, that the group who know about the self-exam but does not practice it represents the %50. Among other findings we observed that the body was important for the female college students of the Professional School of Human Medicine and College of Education. It was stressed that cultural beliefs and cultural factors,religious of the Andean woman, did not allow them to assess their bodies naturally, but rather appreciated it as something indecent, that should not be touched, that creates a lot of embarrassment, fear and reservation. In this regard, the female college students of the Professional School of Human Medicine and College of Education said their mothers constituted a pattern of behavior. To students of the Professional School of Human Medicine, meant learning to care for their bodies and incorporate breast self-examination as practice, since they perceived their mothers protecting their health by going to their cancer screenings. In the case of the female college students of the College of Education, the practice of breast self-examination, from a bodyperspective was linked to a private space and to the privacy of motherdaughter interaction. Full textNowadays the city of Lima has a diversity of academies exclusively dedicated to Ballet. This dance it’s well known by its discipline and its focus of the dancers by the execution of the movements of their bodies that show the control they have of over their bodies. In one district of Lima, called Surquillo, there is a school that has been teaching, only, ballet. This academy is named “Escuela Nacional Superior de Ballet”. The research covers this academy and also other academies in Lima. This project seeks to relocate this institution into somewhere accessible and at the same time giving them a better infrastructure to hold this kind of activity. This research compares other architecture projects in the world with the same typology, it explains and shows the function of the space in relation to this kind of dance, and how these spaces have different qualities for its objective user. Another point to take in consideration the light to emphasis different parts of the dance to avoid any distraction form the technique.

Full textDetermina la asociación entre la presencia de síntomas depresivos y adicción a internet (AI) en alumnas del Colegio Nacional Rosa de Santa María. El estudio es analítico, observacional, no controlado y transversal. Se aplicó una encuesta a 281 estudiantes utilizando dos escalas para determinar el grado de depresión y de adicción a internet (Zung y EAIL). La edad promedio fue 15±0,8 años, predominando alumnas del 5to año de secundaria (49.47%). El 14.59% repitió algún año escolar, el 82.21% vive con sus padres en familias de 4 a 6 integrantes, el 87.19% cuenta con todos los servicios básicos, el 61.21% tiene internet en casa, el 23.84% acude a cabinas públicas y el 51.96% pasa menos de 6 horas conectado. La prevalencia de depresión fue de 23.13%. El acceso a internet desde el hogar y la compañía de los padres fueron factores reductores de síntomas depresivos (p<0.05). La prevalencia de AI fue de 25.62%. La edad, grado de instrucción, fracaso escolar y pensamientos suicidas fueron factores de riesgo para AI (p<0.05). La depresión se asoció significativamente a la AI (OR=3.24, IC: 1.79-5.86, p=0.000005). Se concluye que la presencia de síntomas depresivos es un factor de riesgo para adicción a internet. Existen variables protectoras de depresión como la compañía de los padres y el acceso a internet desde el hogar. Se determinó que la edad, grado de instrucción, fracaso escolar y pensamientos suicidas son variables que potencian conductas adictivas. Ambas escalas tiene gran consistencia y validez para ser aplicadas en el país.

Full textIn the last decades, different cities around the world have undertaken urban development process using culture as the main strategy. As a result, the following thesis takes a specified area in the city which it’s deteriorated and vulnerable. This is the case of the Historic Centre of Lima. The chosen site is located around the Jirones Ayacucho, Ancash and Andahuaylas where is built the National School of Fine Arts. This is known for been an old construction which was adapted to be a school. However, it presents a deficit in the number of classrooms as well as the structural conditions of the building. In that sense, the architecture proposal raises the expansion of the current headquarters which contains the cultural and educational areas. The project will allow the both students, artists and people of the community will visit its ground and find galleries, exhibition and work spaces. Meanwhile, the educational area will have new classrooms, laboratories and workshops design for the different arts. To sum up, this intervention enhance the cultural dynamic around the site, and reinforce the existing infrastructure as well the construction of new equipment and public spaces.

Full textThe thesis approach with a fact that is the result of the high demand of the Performing Arts in Lima and the need to generate a proposal of an educational and ideal space for a professional and competent training for it. The analysis attends Architecture and theoretical topics for the basis of the investigation. A determining factor is the study of the user, since it is aimed at this, that´s why it explores the type of training and aspects within that would encourage a better training such as interdisciplinary that consists basically of integrating three disciplines that have a relationship to promote a better training, this is why the proposal look for to generate common meeting spaces, as well as educational to develop this integration. The investigation is completed with the analysis of similar referents, user, regulation and ordinances by the Minedu, the choice of where it will be located, this is also where the proposal look forward to make a contribution in vulnerable areas with historical value of the center of Lima, in addition, we will focus the criteria that were taken in consideration for the design of the proposal.

Full textThe National Police of Peru, as the tutelary entity of the Peruvian state, requires to have in its ranks police officers with third-level university degrees, who have knowledge of humanistic knowledge and Police Science, who are able to perform their functions with solid skills and provided with attitudes framed in the regulations that govern them, coupled with the values that the values that the institution demands, in addition to ethical behavior and a lot of discipline. However, it has been evidenced that there is no competency profile for applicants to the PNP Officers' School, dependent on the National Police Professional Training School. In this sense, this innovation project is dedicated to studying the deficiencies in the approach of competency profiles in the admission processes to the National Police Professional Training School, contrasting the results obtained with the determining factors that predominate in the applicants. The project arises from the need to have police officers who have the skills required in the tasks that are carried out on a daily basis. To do this, a study of roots and causes was carried out, managing to find that in the admission processes there are deficiencies to choose the indicated profile that is needed to provide police training. In short, this project is a sample of current reality and is a source of studies that can be a basis for the following investigations and improvements that need to be made.

Full textValparaíso, cuya espontaneidad manifestada en una trama urbana orgánica, derivada del particular contexto geográfico de su emplazamiento y de su conformación histórica. Sus espacios públicos, pasajes, escaleras, recovecos e inmuebles de los más variados estilos arquitectónicos, nos trasladan a diferentes épocas de su desarrollo. Desde la conformación de los primeros caseríos en torno a la “Iglesia La Matriz”, pasando por su consolidación como la Ciudad-Puerto más importante del Pacifico Sudamericano, hasta la actualidad. Hoy en día, la ciudad, alberga en su paisaje natural, urbano y arquitectónico solo vestigios de un periodo de mayor esplendor. Tiempos de alto tráfico comercial, poder económico a nivel nacional y el desarrollo de una sociedad pluricultural. Imagen que le ha conferido a un área del Centro histórico de Valparaíso la categoría de Sitio Patrimonio de la Humanidad el año 2003.Esto ha despertado el interés de entidades tanto públicas como privadas para el desarrollo de proyectos. La expansión de la ciudad a los cerros ha provocado un despoblamiento en el plan de la ciudad, generando el abandono, deterioro y una apropiación irregular de los espacios públicos y el patrimonio arquitectónico. Lo anterior se evidencia en las precarias condiciones en las que se encuentra su herencia arquitectónica, debido a la negligencia por parte de los propietarios, gestiones publicas insuficientes y catástrofes naturales tales como terremotos, aludes e incendios. El estado de deterioro en que se encuentra Valparaíso refleja una baja consideración de patrimonio arquitectónico, poniéndolo en una situación de vulnerabilidad frente a los intereses de privados. En este contexto, se encuentra el “Barrio Almendral”, que cuenta con un importante número de sitios eriazos y construcciones de relevancia patrimonial deshabitadas, deterioradas, subutilizadas y ocupadas informalmente. Esto sumado al despoblamiento generalizado del barrio y necesidades habitacionales de Valparaíso plantea un gran desafío consistente la elaboración de un plan integral y sostenible en el tiempo, que permita el repoblamiento del sector, renovando sus usos y potenciando los valores propios su herencia urbana, constructiva y arquitectónica. Finalmente se diseña un proyecto que contempla la rehabilitación de la Escuela Ramon Barros Luco, Monumento Nacional con alto nivel de deterioro y la construcción de un nuevo edificio que mantiene la línea del edificio original para ser usadas como oficinas del MINVU y SERVIU. Lo anterior considera, potenciar los valores propios del inmueble revitalizando el contexto socio cultural del Barrio; consolidar el edificio estructuralmente, mejorando su comportamiento sísmico y asegurando su preservación; la habilitación de circulaciones verticales y horizontales para optimizar las circulaciones dentro del conjunto; el diseño de un patio techado abierto para el recreo de funcionarios y actividades de la comunidad; incorporar nuevas tecnologías y conceptos de arquitectura sustentable.

Full textTransparency, ethical processes, budget execution and planning are extremely important elements for a proposal of a possible optimization of the regular strategies to approach the police admission process. This can be reached from a focus on innovation that can contribute to enhance the functioning of the Officials School of Police Officers (known in Spanish as EO-PNP), promoting the best possible performance of this service, which will allow to regain the trust of the population and applicants to the EESTP-PNP, as well as the prestige and public image of the National Police of Peru as a organization that protects the state, transforming processes in which the deadlines for the dates of the examinations, in addition to the fact that the examinations that have been determined in the directives on the subject are effectively carried out, in addition to the applicants having full knowledge of the advantages and benefits that the police career offers to all male and female applicants in reference to other training schools such as similar ones in the Armed Forces s of Peru, as well as the different public and private universities, since the raison d'être of the National Police of Peru (PNP) is to provide the service of maintaining public order. They must be of high quality and that contribute to considerably reduce the indices of victimization and feelings of insecurity, strengthening citizen security, where the added value to the police service would be the high education and training of our police members during their stay in within the Alma Mater of the PNP so that when they go out to work in the streets they can perform professionally and ethically at the service of society, demonstrating at all times the profile of police that society so requires, that crimes and misdemeanours are reduced to a minimum, greatly influencing the perception of citizen insecurity. It has been observed that during the processes carried out in the years 2017- 2018 and 2019, the deadlines set out in the admission directives and requirements prospectus have not been fully met. In that order of ideas, the researchers set out to develop an innovative contribution that allows increasing the quality of the Police Schools’ admission process to prioritize the quality and not the quantity of those interested in being admitted to the Superior Technical School of Police Officers, supported by a bigger public exposition and interinstitutional control of the acceptance of candidates, ethical processes, and the use of digital resources. These factors will allow the improvement of police services, which Peruvian society requires and demands.

Full textThe National Police of Peru, in the admission processes, specifically to the School of Officers, requires men and women with competencies, who offer their greatest effort, the best performance to achieve the objectives of the organization; therefore, adequate planning and articulation with the public budget is needed, as well as identifying and rebuilding the value chain that will allow for the development of efficient procedures to obtain an effective and effective result, then translated into public impact. In this regard, the present project and innovation addresses the topic: "Improve efficiency in the application of procedures during the execution of the admission process to the School of Officials of the National Police of Peru." As part of the investigation, it has been established that the admission process to the Officers' School includes the stages of dissemination, pre-registration, registration, selection and admission; being the case that, during its execution, there are deficiencies in the application of the procedures that comprise each of its stages. The causes of this problem have been prioritized according to the detail indicated below: absence of specific updated standards for the execution of the admission process; absence of administrative and technological resources in the Office of Admission and Reports; and, lack of allocation of human resources. It concludes therefore that it is necessary to attack the causes of the problem, considering the same amount of duly prioritized means, as a structure of the proposed solution, namely: updating the specific legal basis; optimal allocation of administrative and technological resources; and, optimal allocation of human resources, proposing the development of an Admission Manual; prioritize the necessary requirement in the Needs Chart, aligned to the Institutional Operational Plan and institutional public budget, to implement the Admission and Reporting Unit of the National School of Police Professional Training; and, generate the allocation of human resources with the modification of the Organization Chart and Personnel Chart of Officers of the National Police of Peru.

Full textOBJETIVE: To determinate perception and satisfaction’s medical students from the Professional Academic School of Humane Medicine of the UNMSM above the clinical practices of Dermatology. TYPE OF STUDY: Quantitative. DESIGN: Descriptive, transversal, observational. Study sites: ambulatory consultation, hospitalization units and emergency unit of the hospitalary sites. POPULATION: 107 students. TECNICS AND INSTRUMENT OF DATA RECOLLECTION: The instrument of data recollection was made using Likert’s scale. RESULTS: About the general perception, 74 (78.72%) had a favorable perception about the planning of the teaching process, and about teaching skills in the dermatology clinical practices. About general satisfaction, 78 (82.98%) were satisfied about the planning, development and evaluation of the clinical practices. CONCLUSION: 73 Student’s (77,66%) had a favorable/completely favorable perception about the planning of the teaching –learning processes. Regarding student’s perception about the teacher’s skills, 75 (79, 79%) had a favorable/completely favorable perception. Students’ satisfaction about the planning of the clinical practices was 87,23% (82). Student’s satisfaction about the development of clinical practices aroused 90, 42% (85) while student’s satisfaction about the evaluation of clinical practices was 87, 23% (82).

Full textIntroducción: La ausencia de investigación en nutrición, antropometría y condición física, en el campo de la danza en el Perú, se debe a que el ballet no es considerado una actividad deportiva, a pesar del incremento del requerimiento de energía y nutrientes. Por ello, esta investigación pretende ser una de las primeras aproximaciones que contribuya en la nutrición deportiva. Objetivo: Describir la asociación entre la dieta, la composición corporal y la condición física especial para la danza de las estudiantes de ballet de Escuela Nacional Superior de Ballet (ENSB) en Perú. Diseño: Estudio observacional, transversal, descriptivo-analítico; realizado en la ENSB de Perú entre los meses de octubre y diciembre de 2013. Materiales y métodos: Se evaluó antropometría, consumo de nutrientes y condición física de 60 estudiantes, entre los 11 y 18 años, pertenecientes a la formación académica temprana (FAT) de la ENSB. Se aplicó un protocolo antropométrico de 11 mediciones para calcular los indicadores de la composición corporal. El consumo de nutrientes se evaluó mediante recordatorio de 24 horas comparándolo con los Dietary Recommended Intakes (DRI’s) para energía, macro y micronutrientes. La condición aeróbica se evaluó a partir de los porcentajes de frecuencia cardiaca máxima (%FCM), obtenida durante la aplicación del Dance Specific Fitness Test (DSFT), y la fuerza explosiva de miembros inferiores, evaluada con el test de salto horizontal y los percentiles salto/edad para la población adolescente peruana. El análisis de datos fue realizado con el software STATA v.12.1® (StataCorp LP.TXT.USA). Resultados: Se encontró un déficit del consumo de Kcal (8,3%), grasas (5%), vitamina E (3,3%), calcio (6,7%), carbohidratos (20%) y proteínas (46,7%), en la estudiantes de ballet. Hubo un consumo adecuado de hierro (93,3%) y vitamina C (96,7%). A mayor porcentaje de adecuación del consumo de proteínas (r=-0,26; p=0,049), calcio (r=-0,31; p=0,015) y hierro (r=-0,33; p=0,011), hubo menor presencia de masa grasa corporal total. A mayor porcentaje de adecuación del consumo de proteínas (r=0,32; p=0,014), zinc (r=0,27; p=0,039), hierro (r=0,34; p=0,009) y folato (r=0,33; p=0,011), hubo mayor porcentaje de masa muscular. Se halló una relación entre la dieta y la condición física, específicamente entre el consumo de hierro (r=-0,27; p=0,040) y la capacidad aeróbica. Conclusiones: No se hallaron asociaciones significativas entre la composición corporal y la condición física ni entre la dieta y la fuerza explosiva de miembros inferiores, mas sí una relación significativa entre la dieta con la condición aeróbica y la composición corporal. Estos resultados requieren de mayores investigaciones en estudiantes de ballet, donde se incluyan evaluaciones bioquímicas y medición de VO2

Full textIn this thesis, the scientific, educational and cultural work of Antonio Pedro Rodríguez Pérez (1912-1964) is studied, as one of the last representatives of the Neurohistological Spanish School. That school continued the works of the Medicine Nobel awarded, Santiago Ramón y Cajal. There are 141 published works. 89 of them are research reports, some of which were done with the collaboration of lecturers and classmate disciples of Tello. 46 of them are morphologic and 2 morpho-physiological; 39 were checking reports, mainly about synapse; another 14 are other type of publications, including textbooks, educational books, literary rehearsal and biographies. Synapse reports on glial cells and also on chemical components, on sensory recipients of skin and on aortic and carotid glomus are qualitatively significant, as well as the works about the culture of Hansen bacillus in pathological anatomy.

Full textThis dissertation defends that, based on the Peruvian Constitution of 1993, it is possible to justify that the State has a mandate to implement a national curriculum that includes content on sexual orientation diversity, aimed towards the eradication of discrimination in and from the school. First, it is argued that contemporary constitutionalism and the theory of legal argumentation serve as a proper framework to structure a discourse on fundamental rights. On this basis, the general premises of the right to equality and the right to education recognized on the Peruvian Constitution are outlined. Second, the dissertation presents a general overview on the theories of sexual orientation and the legal treatment of discrimination based on sexual orientation in the world. Afterwards the studies on the problems of LGB children in school are examined as well as the proposal of an inclusive curriculum as a requirement of an education for all. Third and finally, based on the philosophical, constitutional and educational premises abovementioned the investigation hypothesis is validated.

Full textEsta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar as concepções dos discentes de medicina da Universidade Federal de Rondônia sobre a Política Nacional de Humanização. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, do tipo descritivo-exploratório, realizado com 25 graduandos do 12º período do curso de médico, produzindo-se dados a partir de grupo focal e os analisando na perspectiva do conteúdo, tipo análise temática. Com base nos núcleos direcionadores, foram construídas categorias. A fragmentação no currículo, sinalizada pelos discentes quanto ao ensino teórico e vivência da humanização nas atividades práticas das disciplinas e do internato, especialmente sobre a Política Nacional de Humanização, foi considerada um dos desafios para melhoria da educação médica. Emergiu desta discussão a necessidade de integrar disciplinas de forma a possibilitar um conteúdo programático de natureza interdisciplinar. Assim, buscando ampliar o debate, a criação de um Núcleo de Estudos de Humanidades em Saúde configura-se como o produto desta dissertação de mestrado. Desenha-se um núcleo, onde sejam realizadas rodas de conversas, nas quais alunos e professores possam se expressar a respeito das aprendizagens sobre Humanização e Política Nacional de Humanização. Um espaço para discussões permanentes das propostas curriculares do curso, fomentando e propondo inovações curriculares de modo a ter, na humanização, um potente conteúdo e disparador metodológico para a formação médica. Acredita-se que a divulgação dos resultados deste trabalho e a corroboração dos achados de outros estudos são necessárias para aprofundar a discussão acerca do ensino médico, o que pode contribuir para uma formação mais humana, contemplada também nos currículos acadêmicos.
The general aim of this research was analyze the conceptions of the medicine learners of Federal University of Rondonia on the National Policy of Humanization. It is a qualitative descriptive exploratory study what was carried out with 25 undergraduate students of twelfth period of medicine course, producing-if data from the focal group and analyzing in the perspective of content, type thematic analysis. With the basis in the cores directors the categories were constructed. Fragmentation in curriculum, signaled by students regarding the theoretical teaching and experience of humanization in the practical activities of the disciplines and the internship, especially on the National Policy of Humanization, was considered one of the challenges for improving medical education. This discussion has emerged the need to integrate disciplines that allow a programmatic content of interdisciplinary nature. Thus, broadening the debate, it configures itself as the product of this master's thesis the creating a Core of Studies of Humanities in Health. Draws a nucleus, where they are made wheels of conversations, in which students and teachers can express the respect of learning about Humanization and National Policy of Humanization. A space for the permanent discussions of curricular proposals of the course, fomenting and proposing curricular innovations to take, in humanization, a powerful content and methodological trigger for medical training. It is believed that the disclosure of the results of this work and the corroboration of findings from other studies are necessary to deepen the discussion about medical education which can contribute to a more human training also contemplated in the academic curricula.

La razón por la se ha decidido desarrollar un trabajo de tesis como este, surge desde el interés de tener un acercamiento, aumentar y profundizar los conocimientos adquiridos en torno a este campo de estudio. Durante el año 2014 se cursó una pasantía en el Museo Nacional de Medicina en el área de Restauración y Conservación1, con el objetivo de realizar un trabajo con manuscritos, el cual pudiera ser presentado en este documento. De esta manera, construir un trabajo final que estuviera compuesto por una parte teórica y otra de trabajo directo con los objetos.
