Full textThe members of the binomial constructions establish among themselves privileged links and the meaning of the binominal structures not only comes from the members of the binomial but also and especially from the connection that is established among them. Our work extends to three stages. First, we define the "binomial construction" and we study the circumstances of lexicography of some of these formulas. Then, we put in evidence the order that rules or tends to rule, the position of the members of the binomial. Finally, the study of terms that integrate binomial construction allows us to analyse the connections that the members of the binomial formulas establish among themselves. The analysis of binomial constructions permite to put in evidence the emergence of poetic structures in the language and shows that prose and poetry are not as distant as sometimes it is insinuated, when traditionally they are opposed

Full textIn this dissertation, I demonstrate that the realization of the Spanish glottalization accounted for in Yucatán, México, differs depending on its position in the word and the linguistic ability of the speaker. The glottalization of an intervocalic stop is distinguished from a final glottalization by a distinct action of the glottis. I document these physiological differences by acoustic analyses and by the use of laryngography. The discrepancy in question appears in the VOT (voice-onset time), which is significantly shorter for glottal consonant than for the glottalized stops of all Yucatecan speakers. Likewise, the explosive noise response (resonance) is wea-er in the glottal stop. This last effect results from a temporal shift that is established between the articulators of the oral cavity and the glottis to produce these glot-talized stops. The location of ener-gy concentration of the explosion and the duration of the glottalized stop and glottal consonant are influenced by their position in the word. They also vary according to whether the speaker is bilingual or mono-lingual. The glottal consonant (between two vowels or in initial or final position) considered by some mayan phoneticians as a glottal stop, is produced more like a glottal fricative in initial position and like a glottal stop or a glottal fricative in final position by Yucatecan
En esta tesis, pongo de manifiesto que la producción de la glotalización en el español hablado en Yucatán, Méjico, se manifiesta diferentemente según su posición en la palabra y según la competencia lingüística del locutor. La consonante glotal entre dos vocales se distingue de una glotalización en final por varia-ciones de la glotis. Estas diferencias fisiológicas son confirmadas en este trabajo por el análisis de las señales de la voz y laryngográficas. Las diferencias se manifiestan por un VOT (voice-onset time) de la consonante glotal significativamente inferior al de las oclusivas glotalizadas en todos los locutores Yucatecos y una respuesta del ruido de la explosión (resonancia) más escasa. Este último efecto resulta del desfase temporal que se establece entre los articuladores de la cavidad oral y los de la glotis para la producción de las oclusivas glotalizadas. La frecuencia de energía de la explosión y la duración de las oclusivas glotalizadas y de la consonante glotal son influidas por su posición en la palabra. Varían también en función de los locutores (bilingüe-monolingüe). La consonante glotal (entre dos vocales o en posición inicial o final), considerada por unos foné-ticos mayanistas como una oclu-siva glotal, es producida más a menudo como una fricativa glotal entre dos vocales y como una oclu-siva o una fricativa en posición final por los Yucatecos

The combinations among vowels, semivowels and semiconsonantals are the essential of our work. The axis of this thesis is the three position rythmic pattern (Angoujard, 1997) and construing of sonorous segments and elements (Kaye, Lowenstamm & Vergnaud, 1985). Each segment analysed has been described in the shape of constraints and integrated in a strict aproach by principles and parameters. The thesis consists in two clearly differenciated parts: in the first we introduce several general aspects and sometimes innovatives in the field of diachronic phonology and in the second we have applied it to the study of diphthongization

Full textTo fight against failure in oral language in the first year of Spanish learning at University, in Letters as much as in Sciences, the author starts a research task based on the reasons for this failure and on the means necessary to remedy it. She then considers the utility of a learning methodology of oral language, whose first chapter would be consecrated to the study of pronunciation, which is a major cause of error for the students. After having made a theoretical analysis of the phonetics which highlights the non-existent Spanish sounds in French, she presents a renewed oral method which is consolidated by an exercice book Ejercicios de fonética, accompanied by a CD. These aids contain application activities among which can be found methodical readings resulting from avant-garde literature and theatre. She finalizes by giving the results of various experiments using this method

Full textEste trabajo de investigación se sitúa en el marco del aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras. Los sistemas acentuales de las dos lenguas estudiadas son diferentes. El francés es una lengua de acento fijo, mientras que el español es una lengua de acento libre. Hemos llevado a cabo varios estudios experimentales con el objetivo de evaluar la influencia que ejerce la lengua materna de los estudiantes francófonos en la percepción y producción del acento léxico español. Los resultados obtenidos en pruebas de percepción y producción permiten demostrar que el efecto de una posible criba acentual es variable en lo que se refiere a la percepción. Los análisis demuestran que existe una evolución de la interlengua que se manifiesta a varios niveles en los diferentes estadios de la adquisición de la acentuación. La capacidad de percepción y producción mejora en función del nivel de lengua. Sin embargo, el tratamiento del acento léxico español no implica las mismas dificultades para los francófonos cuando lo perciben que cuando lo producen. Asimismo, hemos realizado análisis acústicos de las producciones de los nativos y los francófonos, en los que hemos tomado en consideración tres factores: la frecuencia fundamental, la duración y el registro tonal. Los resultados de la comparación de las producciones de los hispanohablantes y los francófonos revelan que los valores acústicos registrados son diferentes en función de la lengua materna del locutor. La modificación de los parámetros también varía en función de los factores lingüísticos y contextuales examinados
Situated within the framework of Second Language Acquisition, this research aims to study perception and production of Spanish lexical stress by French native speakers. Stress systems of these two languages are different: while the French is a fixed lexical stress language, Spanish language is characterized by a free lexical stress system. Hence, an experimental approach was undertaken in order to examine the influence of L1 French on perception and production of lexical stress in L2 Spanish. Subjects' performance is examined by comparing the processing of stimuli during perception and production tasks. Two experiences based on stimuli perception revealed a variable effect of a possible “stress filter”. The results show that the learners' interlanguage develops at several levels according to different stages of L2 stress acquisition. It appears that the subjects' performance is improving during the acquisition in both perception and production tasks. Conversely, different stress placement are not processed equally during the two tasks. Furthermore, we effectuated an acoustic analysis of subjects' L2 French productions in comparison with the productions of L1 Spanish speakers. Three factors are being considered: F0, duration and tone range. The results indicate significant differences in accordance with the subjects' native language and their learning levels. The modification of acoustic parameters varies in line with the linguistic and contextual factors examined

Full textThis present work tries to give an explanation to difficulties that meet the gabonese learners in learning spanish, foreign language. In its development, this thesis draws up a panorama on the situation socio-linguistic of Gabon, on the concepts mother tongue, foreign language and on the models of analysis: Contrastive Analysis, errors Analisis and Interlanguage. This thesis gives also a vision of the three languages, Spanish, French and punu like autonomous systems, with particular characteristics which present certain similarities. From the written productions of the pupils of third and terminal, this thesis proposes to analyze the interferences produced by learners. A sample of 100 copies of duties has constituted the tool of this study. Through these productions, we have identified two types of errors: interlingual and intralingual. The first come from the contact of french with the Spanish, and the seconds of the Spanish language. This study leads to an essential work: to give proposals for the improvement of teaching/learning by the approach of tasks in focusing teaching/learning on the pupil

Full textThis thesis deals with the rapport substance/form. We examine the common vowels of Spanish, Japanese, French and Arabic in /ptk/ context, in accented/unaccented syllabes, in steady state and in slow and fast rate. We observe the formants, Fo, duration and coarticulation. In fast rate, vowels centralize. In slow rate, compared to steady state, we observe a lot of variability amongst the languages. Formants differences between accented and unaccented are more evident in fast rate. The Fo est higher in fast rate; The Fo of the accented vowels is not always the highest. That of vowels in unaccented, median position, is generally the lowest. The duration of vowels in fast rate is short. The duration of the accented vowel is generally the longest in slow rate. That of the Japanese is highest in medium position. We observe variability in fast rate. The duration of the consonants is generally longer than that of the vowels in slow rate, it is impossible to generalize in fast rate
