As the requirements to operate the electric power system become more stringent and operating costs must be kept to a minimum, operators and planners must ensure that power system models are accurate and capable of replicating system disturbances. However, its stochastic counterpart is less known to most of the ecologists partly due to the difficulty in parameter estimation. The estimation method given by Renshaw (1991) was rough and did not take into consideration of repeated measurement data. In this research, we propose an alternative to the estimation of the four parameters of stochastic logistic model. Our approach includes two major steps. First part of our estimation method is to construct a relat

It is expected to acquire perfect image for analysis and diagnosis. To improve image quality, both hardware and software are important. System geometry accuracy is one of the factor. In our research, we will discuss system geometry definition、 parameter and calibration method. After adopting calibration parameters with projection images, image quality is improved and misa

In this article, we present maximum likelihood estimation via Bare Bones Particle Swarm Optimization (BBPSO) algorithm to estimate two parameters of Weibull distribution under interval censored data. This approach can produce more accuracy of the parameter estimation for the Weibull distribution. Additionally, the confidence intervals for the estimators are obtained. Compare to the mid-point method and the EM algorithm, it shows that the m

On one hand, the useful life of other sources can be extended; on the other hand, it can reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air to avoid the ozone layer destruction. However, wind power, solar power and other renewable energy sources have intermittent feature, which has to be compatible with effective energy storage system to achieve higher economic efficiency. Due to fuel cells can improve
